Holy cow. THEY WILL NOT BAN A PLAYER FOR PICKING UP AND CARRYING A HACKED WEAPON. THEY WILL ONLY BAN A PLAYER FOR HACKING IN THE ITEM. IF THIS WERE THE CASE A LOT MORE PEOPLE WOULD BE BANNED FROM THIS GAME. Caps locked so maybe, just maybe, people will stop preaching what they are clueless about.

AKA - Mage (who is a known script kiddy/ hacker) had his friend spawn in a bunch of vehicles and weapons on a map.

You guys gave got some major, major props from my clan/group. A big thank you for keeping it clean and doing the right thing with this situation. We were south-west of Polana moving to the factory to scout for parts in our truck. On our way there we saw a chopper spawn in the west field beside it and decided to check it for items. As we were moving up our spotter in the factory started saying over mumble : There's a guy prone beside the chopper! Instantly I dismount and the truck continues to move while I move to set up an overwatch on the chopper. Our eyes on the player identified him as a member of FIST and said he was crawling around to my side. I had no eyes on him so I stood and got the angle, then took my shot. Target was hit in the torso and goes unconcious and I immediately jumped up to finish him off with 9mm SD. My spotter then says to us, The guy Alt F4. I was furious, not only does this guy represent the server admins clan but he was a coward and took the cowards way out. The driver of the truck immediately goes to this clans teamspeak and begins questioning why this guy ALT F4'd out. He denies everything and starts saying he hasn't done anything that he was still in game. We were ON the spot he disconnected and the guy was not there. So the clan surprised us upon hearing this and start screaming at the guy and telling him they were banning him. We said no don't ban him, tell him come back in game and eat a bullet. The guy continued to deny it....right up to the point he spawned back in where we were standing, unconcious, and took a bullet to the head. Mad props to FIST for dealing with this nonsense and putting that guy in his place. We have problems with people who coward out and ALT F4, so... mad props to you guys and keep up the good fight.

Still, his camps off map, and that's not exactly nice and thus his camp is now the publics camp. I highly doubt the vehicles aren't spawning because there are bikes spawning, just no cars on the spawn points which means someone has moved the vehicles.

Someone got there before you then :( There was two ANPVS 4 an M4 CCO SD and a FN FAL. Vehicles? Not sure yet, still looking, but i'm sure they're somewhere off map too since we've looked EVERYWHERE On the map.

I think you need to read World War Z. That's a very good guide on what happens during a zombie apocalypse. Pretty realistic too. Human nature is a son of a bitch when you cut through the bullshit that TV's feed you.

I'm looking for a server with the following criteria : Third person : On Crosshairs : On Map doesn't show people around you Must be able to see waypoints No name-tags Admins don't own everything on the server / hide shit off map to keep it theirs. I've went through several servers and every server i've gone to has had admins hiding vehicles off map or restarting the server if they lose their equipment. Yes, i'm looking DIRECTLY at you Atlanta 59 Admin. Every vehicle on the map taken, all of them hidden off map. We thought about playing on your server, but the only thing we could find to repair was a bike. That's it, everything else is gone, we checked all the spawn points. You have a base south of the NW airfield that is surrounded by barbed wire and tank traps, don't worry, we stole all your gear and moved it off server prior to your rolling it back to fill those same tents again. We even went back and checked them to make sure that is what was happening and yep! Full tents! It is completely stupid that admins have this kind of power. Then you have Chicago 59 and UTO who one of their members is using the hack that allows you to find all the vehicles on the map. That same member and no, it isn't Loster4 bless her heart who is completely blind as a bat, can pick up people who are prone in guili suits who haven't so much as fired a shot and kill them. I've died a lot in DayZ, I know when it's my fault and I know when it's stupid bullshit hacks that happen. It's getting so out of hand right now that Battleeye REALLY needs to get involved in this because I feel like i'm playing Battlefield 3 again with all the blatant hacking. So, LOOKING FOR A SERVER that me and my friends can migrate to with the above listed things. Prefereably an Atlanta / East Coast based server if you would. Thanks in advance.

I have no issue with hoarding or tent cities as LONG AS THEY ARE WITHIN THE MAP LIMITS. The shit gets stupid when people set up tent cities OUTSIDE the edges of the map that shit gets a little dumb. I applaud admins who go out of their way to delete those tents of people who go out of bounds to hide their equipment. I think this game needs something like what is in Battlefield 3, you go out of the limits of the maps you have a few seconds to turn back or you die. Problem solved.

Sounds like you were banned from a server for breaking the server rules. When you pay for a server, you can dictate what happens there and who gets to play. Until that point in time if the admin tells you "DON'T SPAM/TALK IN SIDE CHAT" then maybe you shouldn't talk in side chat. Their rules, your job to follow them, appeal it with the server admin and let them fix your issue. If you're nice they may let you back in, otherwise pick a new server.

Where is the proof? Where is the proof they were hacking? You can not come to the forums and make baseless claims that someone is hacking and expect the admins to jump on it on your word alone. I could even say YOU were spawning weapons for example and tell them to ban your account on my words alone. The admins and people who deal with this need proof, pictures, video, logs, something that is solid and that they can put up for people to use as evidence. Coming to these forums and saying someone did it without proof is pretty much the same thing as starting a witch-hunt.
