Ok cause the issue I am having is, I am looking through the script logs and I see this same script showing up with my characters name attached to it. I know for a fact I do not hack and so... I don't know. Could he have scripted ammo boxxes on top of me or something and I just did not see them? I'm not real sure I want to ban everyone with that script because if that's the case then I was hacking too but I know that's bogus.

So help me understand this, what specifically am I looking at? What part of this is hackers? If I find this in script.log can I ban people for this? The issue is in the code it shows ME spawning crates but I know I haven't spawned any crates. What I did do was remove a weapon from a bus that was clearly hacked in and put it on a zombie corpse and hide the body but I know for a fact I didn't spawn anything in.

Scenario is as follows : Last night I was patrolling south of Zelenogorsk and I came across a bus missing two tires on it. I moved into investigate and checked the vehicles inventory since it was just me online. I looked inside and found a Water Bottle, Painkiller, and an M4A3 ACOG GL. Now for those of you who play a lot you will know this is a hacked in weapon that is not part of the game. What I want to do is I want to find out WHO brought it onto my server. I'm very new to admin work but I want to keep my server as clean as possible so how do I do this? I have Cheat-Finder because someone said to use that but i'm lost beyond that. Help me clean my server up, please. Thanks in advance. Is there a file I can download to help with the parse to find this guy? What do I specifically need to look into to find out when this weapon came on my server and how?

After looking through the files i'm seeing a lot of this : _item addWeaponCargoGlobal [_iItem,1]; I looked through the scripts.txt file and it says this is a hacked in cargo chest. Now the issue is, it's reporting a LOT of people spawning in said chest if that's the case, even me. So I am confused and unsure as to what to do here other then pray google can help, which it hasn't.

Yeah the only M4 with a grenade launcher is the M4A3 Holo, the M4A3 ACOG GL is a hacked in weapon that is not in the game at this time. You can actually check the wiki and see what weapons are in game and the above one is not. I think I found the guy i'm looking for after sifting through my logs. It looks like he spawned a weapon crate in and then spawned another in with ammo. Waiting on another thread to see if they will confirm or deny it then if they confirm his ass is banned.

Let me rephrase. I am sure there has to be a way to look through my logs and find out who is scripting in these weapons or who brought these weapons onto my server, so how do I do it? Or is there no way that with the tools they give us Admins can find out this information? Also, I don't mean to sound rude with this but if you don't know the straight answer please keep it to yourself. I appreciate the moral support but I just want a clear cut answer, not a "I think you can do this..." or a "Here's my opinion". Not concerned with that, just want to know how to run Cheat-finder to find these guys and ban them. -
I'm looking through all my folders and I can't seem to find where I would find scripts being run by hackers on my server? I don't mind looking through logs, I just want to know where to look.

Ok let's say I am looking specifically for who brought in / spawned in an M4A3 ACOG GL on my server. How would I go about doing that?

What is this? I'm admin on a server and i'd like to know specifically what some of these players are getting kicked for. This one comes up quite a bit as well as 5# which is the one you get when you try to click on the server area in your map. Is there a list of all the restrictions I can reference to know what people are getting kicked for?

Ok can you tell me what 55 is? That's another we've seen come up quite a bit. I'd be very grateful if you can link me to something that has these listed as I have searched and have found nothing but obscure references to them in posts.

Is it a valid reason to lock a server 1 minute out of a reset in order to stop people from joining? We do it because we don't want people to join and the immediately get kicked off and possibly put in the debug forest (on the coast). Can we do this if the server is unlocked as soon as it comes back up?

I've seen this put p in a lot of places and I want to honestly believe it's because players are misinformed, so let me put this information out so everyone knows. YOU CAN NOT BE BANNED FOR FINDING / PICKING UP / USING A HACKED WEAPON IN THIS GAME. SERVER ADMINS, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BAN SIMPLY BECAUSE A PLAYER WAS USING A HACKED WEAPON. In order to ban a player on your server you must have the coding that proves that the player hacked the weapon into the game. This is the ONLY way you can ban a player from your server, ever.* You can not ban a player because he hacked on another server unless there is proof that they were hacking in weapons on THAT server. Please stop banning these people who find hacked weapons and decide to run around with them. While it is not fair to the community to use a hacked weapon, it's not a crime simply to pick it up and run around with it. Rocket has stated this very fact but people just refuse to listen to him for some stupid reason. Let's try to keep this bumped, shall we? *Tinfoil hat people, this is in regards to weapons. Of course you can be banned for other hacks, let's not be naive, shall we?

Best way to get snipers give away their position?

You won't see a good sniper because a good sniper knows to wait and pick his shots carefully. A good sniper has the patience to wait for hours, two, three just to kill one person. A good sniper doesn't move from his spot because he's dug in enough to wait people out. A good sniper moves after every kill or group kill so you won't find him in the same spot every time. Your best bet is to hope his first shot misses and that you can counter snipe or get out of the area before he adjusts and gets his second round in you. One shot, one kill. -

Hacked vehicles do not always despawn, hence why there's an M1A1 on Atlanta 95 for the past week :( I won't post how they stay, or how to get them to stay, but needless to say it's not science and fairly easy to figure out. -

So, your group puts together a well thought out plan and go to execute it to further their goals. You were invited to come along because your friends decided they would bring you in on the excitement and share in the loot. You then immediately run to these forums and sabotage their entire operation because you want to see the all get killed. Don't say there's another way to interpret this, you are literally ruining an op they put together simply because you don't want to collect loot for an hour but because you want to get shot at. Have you told your 'friends' you're doing this to them? Have you even discussed this with them? Because if you haven't then I feel so sorry for your 'friends'. You're in the bandit campfire area which means you understand a bandit works with a team or lone-wolfs his way through situations. I don't know how you operate, but my fire-team doesn't fuck each other simply because we want to see people get shot at. -
Ok, see... this is why if you don't know what the fuck you are talking about that it's best to just not post anything. Hacked weapons will not get you banned if you find them and pick them up and run around shooting people with them. Period, bottom line, Thank you, Drive through. There is only one way a hacked in weapon can get you banned and that is if YOU scripted the weapon into the game yourself to use in the above scenario. The scripting itself is what will get you banned, not the carrying of the weapon. Furthermore, admins should not be banning people for carrying hacked in weapons unless they have absolute proof through Rcon and server info that the person scripted it in. Banning someone for using a hacked in weapon when they didn't script it in CAN GET YOUR SERVER BLACKLISTED AND REMOVED FROM THE HIVE. Did all of the server admins here read that? IF YOU BAN SOMEONE FOR CARRYING AN ITEM NOT CURRENTLY IN THE GAME AND THEY DID NOT SCRIPT IT IN BUT GOT IT THROUGH SOME OTHER MEANS THEN HACKING THEN YOUR SERVER CAN BE BLACKLISTED AND / OR REMOVED FROM THE HIVE. Everyday on the ban appeal forums I see multiple people who come on there and say - I got banned for carrying x weapon but I didn't hack it in. Why did I get banned? All this is is server admins not reading the rules and reasons they can ban players and taking matters into their own hands. Had they read that they would see if they are banning people for reasons not listed on that page then they can face some heavy penalties leveled against their server. People who are saying - 'Oh if you're using a hacked in weapon then you're as bad as a hacker' are fucking stupid. I am sure at least 75% of you have duped gear on accident from one server to another, even things such as food / water, and didn't feel morally obligated to destroy said items simply because it was petty items to you. Regardless of what you 'think' you are still using duped items and if you don't immediately destroy them or if you USE them then you are using duped items and that makes you a cheater. Get off your moral high horse before you tell people what is hacking / duping and don't come in here saying - 'Oh i've never done that' because you're bullshitting yourself, not us.

Hey guys, I want to thank the Zombie I killed in Cherno yesterday. I needed some food and that can of beans you dropped was an amazing find. I don't think I would get so lucky as to get something like this but : Wow, what a find! Furthermore, I want to thank the three military zombies that dropped a G17 mag, a DMR mag and a STANAG mag. I think i'm so blessed right now, on Sunday i'm going to give a prayer to our Lord and Savior White Jesus for the blessings of pixels he gave me in this virtual world that I pretend to be a STONE COLD KILLA! I don't have use for any of that but i'm gonna let it rot in my backpack so when / if I do find something other then this compound crossbow I will have ammo for it. I love this game! You're cute. Yes, I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure this guys FPS tanked out 1 second after a m107 round clipped off the ground in front of him and he decided to fix his FPS by aborting out and going to another server. Nope, can't go back to that server cause when people shoot at me my frame-rate just tanks on me! I know, i'll solve that problem by going to a server where nobody is shooting at me, problem solved! -
Maybe it's just me, but I don't throw away anything. If a hacker gives everyone in the server AS50's, well I personally hate the AS50 and love the 107 but the thing is he cost me all my previous gear. Moral high ground would be throw it all away but then I have no equipment to defend myself. Morally, yes I should do it but i'm not going to screw myself over just because a hacker ruined my gear. Considering i'm running with an L85/ SD m9/ M107 / all tools, coyote and ammo them giving me an as50 would be a downgrade :P

Agreed, if i'm getting shot at I don't log. If I think there's someone nearby I don't log. Having a timer wouldn't bother me one bit but it would literally kill the people who do it to escape my bullets.
