Either looted or a server restart made them all disappear. If they all disappear then they should come back with another restart of the server

It really depends on the server... you are lucky. Most times when people put markers they are trying to lure people to spots where they can kill you.

of all the people my group have ran into we have have 100's of murders between us we and maybe hit about 80% people stay, 20% log off.Then again we usually run about 2-3 people sniping with another 2-3 people using assualt rifles or smg's for the up close and personal battle

Well what would be best course of action, have someone a little more experinced in the mod head there and see if the same thing happens, or just leave it? Personally if it is a scripted guard dog I feel that everyone should go there and raid them, to destory what they have,.

So, I play with a group of about 6 friends, our normal server we play on is down so we try a different one. Nothing streange, we carrry on like everything is normal. First day on our new server goes well, we find decent supplies and weapons, couldn't be happier. So, the next day one of the members of our group finds a clans stash of vehicles, he takes thier heavily equppied Ural truck and makes his way to Kabanino before an alpha glitch nearly kills him due to debris not loading for him. He's from AUS playing on a US server so it's understandable that it happens. The truck is totaled and he is saved, Fortunatley, the rest of he group were in a bus and were heading towards him. there were ATV's and cars there, so we went to the spot to take what we could. Turns out they have a ouple of tents well hidden. We raid them as best as we could, one of our members went to an ATV to bring it to us and BOOM! She blows up. We assumed she was a bad driver and we continue on our looting. Shortly afterwards, our newest member in the group while looting one of the tents blows up as well. We are worried now, while he was separated a bit from the group we heard nothing up until the giant explosion. Pin point accuracy grenades possibly, or pipebombs as there was some spotted on the truck that blew up. So we go prone and try to pinpoint who is shooting us with the M203 as that could possible be the only explaination at the time. Sure enough, we were reduced to 4 people looking around, while 3 of us were somewhat close together the fourth of our group was about 100m ahead of us. In clear view the last we saw of him was the smoke of the explosion around him. Since we saw nothing except the explosion we think hacker. We've run into a few hackers before, most just respawn after we've killed them about 20 seconds before we shot them. We log off, something isn't quite right. We are aware that it's bad to log off but from where we were, there was o excuse that no one heard any thing else but explosions. About 20 mins after we've calmed down, I log in myself because the first 2 that were killed were both banned/kicked from the server. I thought I would see for myself if I would die while back in that spot or be banned because we raided the admins camp, as that could have been a possibility, After about 30 seconds being back in, I check my imediate surrounding, no sign of life apart from myself. My screen goes bright white and when the white went away I find my body in a lump and dead. From an explosion... I will share the details of the server and location if need be, to protect the set up that these guys had, but if no proper explanation is given I will release that info so others can test it out.

I've seen it twice, both times the person who was killed came respawned with same gear as before he died

My friend and I found a AS50 and a M107 on the same heli crash site.

I find it funny that people always claim realism in a game. I don't normally post in these threads, as a bandit of opportunity, myself and my friends rarely kill others unless under a threat or you have something they want. Friendly or not. However, there are times when you have got to enjoy yourself and put some danger into your life and others. Sitting atop a hill in Cherno and Electro sniping people for fun is a way to get some enjoyment out of being super serious when raiding heavily camped areas in the north. It has nothing to do with kill count for us, just relieving some stress.

I want to thank you for hosting these servers, I've brought several friends to your servers. We are over 6 people strong now

32bit systems don't read any extra RAM past 4 gigs

In all honesty, they would have got just a "really?" as a reaction. I've played other games where it's a trust no one environment. I hardly trust my friends when I play with them. For that reason alone made me want to buy ArmA 2 and get the mod.

So, I made an account here today to relay this story. At the time I was a little mad but considering nothing was lost it was more of an annoyance. Minor butthurt qq I begin this tale by stating, I rarely play this game solo. I like playing with a friend as he is the lucky one and can plan out the route we choose stopping at some of the better spawn locations. Our primary form of communication is Skype for obvious reasons. Anyways, I've been playing this game for a little while now and know the general basics of spawning a new life. In 1.7.1.1, it was a new experience as I've heavily relied on my makarov for basic zombie protection. I spawn near the Boluta airfield and I immediately check out the deer stands of the medical tent area. I got really luck and all the zombies seemed to spawn on the outer area of the tents making climbing the ladders and moving between the tents much safer. Sadly, no weapon spawn, in fact the spawns were so light that it may have already been looted... I pay it no mind and head out to the airfield. I always take my time approaching the airfield as it tends to be camped, common knowledge. I get lucky and zombies don't spawn right away. I head into a hangar and I am quickly greeted by another player who is in the same boat I am in, no weapon. I laugh about it and carry on looking for a gun for protection or to kill him as he would do the same thing. We greet each other as we can't do anything else and he asks, "want to join our skype convo?". I decline as I am already in one and head towards Chern. I had to make a quick detour into the warehouses across from the airfield to get away from some unwanted friends, plus there is a decent loot spawn in one of the buildings. While I wait for the zombies to get inside the building more, the second set of doors open up and a player with no gun enters. I assume he was in the same situation as I am in, but I was wrong. He had a friend with him with an AK who shot me. As I lay there bleeding out and unconscious his finl words to me were "You should have joined our Skype call" I laughed a little and was a bit upset as I had nothing of value on me. While I may consider myself a bandit of opportunity, killing a man with no weapon is dirty. So I press on with a new life. I spawn in the same area and quickly proceeded toward Chern to avoid my previous killer. I take my time and when I finally reached Chern I attract more unwanted friends, who wish nothing more than to give me a hug. While quickly scanning the area for a place to dump them and try to find a weapon, I run blindly into the market. Someone was already there unfortunately, with a shotgun. I quickly hid behind the back shelves to give myself some cover. We dance around the selves a bit before he turns to the zombies and kills them. He then asks if I was friendly. I apologize for entering the market and scaring him I just wanted to hid from the zombies. I just finish hitting enter on "I will leave now, sorry", BANG! Shotgun to the chest, bleeding out and won't survive. While I lay there waiting to die the person says "You should have joined our Skype call". Apparently, it was the guy who shot me the first time... Awesome sauce. I nearly rage quit afterwards. I mean what are the chances that I would run into the same guy. Rather high obviously due to the market being a place for good loot spawns, but dying twice in a row with the last words I hear being, You should have joined our Skype call. At least on the third spawn of that day I found a dead guy near the lighthouse at Krutoy Cap with the 1.7 default spawn.
