If a server is locked you can't go onto another server with the same character..... Which means no ghosting and would for a short time reduce and possibly stop duping in the current popular manner.....

This has been suggested a million times..... They wont be doing anytime soon.....

Some are quieter, bare foot the best for silent but you will start to bleed. Boots with the knife slot are my footwear of choice.....

To be honest and I don't want to seem argumentative but you can hardly rant about how you have weathered the hardships when you didn't play it for over 2 years. Had you not put that I would have probably read the post - because of that I stopped.....

Friend of mine found an AK at a crash site last week.

Xbox to PlayStation would be good (don't think will happen though) but I wouldn't want PC to console. PC players would have too much of an advantage in a fire fight etc.

On trains especially around Svetloyarsk is where I normally see them.

100% dirty water will have done it - always carry chlorine tabs and purify your bottles or containers that you drink from. As someone has said take a tetracycline tab and it will sort you out before you start to vomit.....

You learn how to play the game BY getting killed. It takes no time at all to get back to your friends no matter where they are on the map. Players hopping servers is absolutely destroying the game play for lots. I have been on full servers for hours without seeing a soul so the amount on a server is no reason to hop - if you are getting killed a lot you might want to slow your gameplay down a bit and spend more time conducting a recce of areas before moving in. For me this is a key skill for any new DAYZ player to learn - don't rush.....

Yeah me too I have all but given up on trying to talk in game now - I was going to message but couldn't remember what your style was so didn't lol. There was 4 of us too and lones tend to get a bit nervous....

Having never seen you play I couldn't point it out though I would if it was true.... Having played this for 5 years I can't remember when I stopped being scared of dying but I am pleased for you that it has happened.....

Not really - most people have and it took me about 10 seconds to find out you were one of them..... Experience in the game tells me most people tend to stop complaining or change their opinions when they enter into the duping box....

Interesting - especially since you previously posted about how you can't find M4's or AK's as they had been duped off the game..... I assume you have moved out of your box now?????

Whilst idiots like Venemie are in the game and producing those lame youtube videos then duping will remain for a while. Dupers tend to be the ones that can't really play the game properly from my experience. They would probably be the first to combat log in a fire fight. Always baffles me what enjoyment dupers get from a game when they effectively take the game play out. There are better shoot 'em ups than DAYZ around but I suppose they are about as good on them as DAYZ so stay here to dupe. The sooner BI locks these servers down or gives us community servers the better..... I don't think most of them really understand that playing the game properly gives infinitely much more enjoyment.....

It does seem to be a lot more frequent but I tend to stick with the night time. I use my Night vision scope to look around. Not got or even seen an AK for a while so have to use them like binos. I don't mind the night too much but it can be frustrating at times when I log in and its night time (again.....) That said there are more than enough ways to light the way during the night. You take the risk of someone getting the drop on you of course.... *Noticed you on a server this weekend funnily enough.....

I can't really see the Xbox standalone version getting anywhere near a PvE environment without community owned servers - which I don't think will happen. You would probably benefit from buying a PC and going on the modded versions - plenty of options and PvE servers available across lots of maps. I play both PC and Xbox and the PC Modded versions are outstanding in the area you are looking for.

I normally only play Modded on PC and haven't played standalone on it for a long long time. Until Anaconda comes around I doubt we will see any modded Xbox versions. Which is a real shame because although I am a bit of a purist when it comes to DAYZ I do love some of the modded PC versions. Even within an RP private server I think you still need that element of banditry unless there are missions or roaming AI. Within a private server it could be done similar to the Hero/Bandit of the early Mods. Like I said I love the idea of locked and private servers I'm just not sure that the way in which the community has gone really toxic will help. Advertising the server and vetting properly will help I suppose. The problem you have is knowing if someone is playing out of character, I can't see the similar modded controls being put into Xbox (unfortunately).

The idea of private servers is a good one but unless they allow you to introduce AI missions or roaming AI (which I very much doubt) then a server full of friendly people would become very boring very quickly. You end up with a base building sim.....

If its the ladders that start halfway up the factory, probably the one in Cherno near piano house and mil base and happened at the top it's a common problem - your body should stay the same amount of time, try look up at the top of the ladder but be careful when getting off it dodgy as.....
