yeah, I run servers for pc gamers, trying to do stuff without loading mods . .. . so Im going into the files . . .. trying to keep it vanilla and easy access . . but different

its the types.xml from the server files. You can look into pretty much all the files and see all the settings .. ..

On pc I have found NVG in several places - mostly tier 3, its not just Tisy. The night vision scope for the AKM/KAM Ive found in tier 2 and 3 places. They should spawn at the NWAF, its just a case of being there when they spawn . . .. .

I never had any luck interacting with the structures . .. . 45 days from build and you are done I just do the bare minimum now re building. For the drybags you bury, its not clear how long they last, I have some buried now that I am waiting to see what will happen . .. . . the wooden crate is also 45 days

This is from the 1.04 types.xml This is the latest tier, number of guns spawning etc. It details where the gun will spawn related to tier and location. Tisy is tier 4. Note the nominal number of guns. Note also how the system counts them. The AKM & M4 are counted in cargo, hoarder, and map but not on player. Whereas the top tier weapons FAL/LAR, VSS and SVD are counted in player too. So if players kept their M4, AKM on them, they might not be so rare, but if they store them. . . The restock time is also interesting for loot cyclers, so its not really worth it . . . For a VSS (3 nom) , VSD (4 nom) or a FAL/LAR (4 nom) you need to be more than just lucky on a sixty person server. The deloot flag means dynamic loot - helicopter spawn. The CR 527 and Tundra are surprisingly easy to find. Tier and place matter. Tier and place official list supplied above. RNG unfortunately does have an effect, due to the number of items spawning through each point, and the restock time for each item. Civilian barracks? Stary is a military evacuation site

Plenty of items have different place/usage names - Military, Police etc, but can only have one category name, weapons, or clothes etc. and the tiers would all be associated with the place/usage names. You couldnt set different tiers for different places/usage . . .. as far as I am aware

medic is a place name and so you could define it for other place names and hence it would spawn in those tiers set. It seems that you can only set one usage category good question . . . . why, I have no idea, different programmers?

Is it only me that has to repair their shoes every 15 mins? I have my boots on my hot bar so I do not miss them going badly damaged . . .. Anybody else have this issue, or do I just walk too much ?

yeah Ive checked that too . ... . . it may be down to the surfaces, do you run on grass all the time? I run on the beach a lot ..

This is what happens on pc every half hour 3 random helicopters (either Mi8 or UH1Y) at random sites with random loot 10 Police cars at random sites

If the logfiles are the same as those for the PC, then yes

if you have it white listed or passworded, its just you and your friend/s. You leave it open and the whole world passes through. We took the password off and nearly eighty players came through (on pc)

exactly, if the new dlc is a map it will split the player base, and some will and some wont . . . I would like to bring my friends with me, but that wont be possible for everyone. So to keep it on the same server run both maps in parallel for those with the DLC .. . the border could be a variant of the mist, so to someone without the DLC, I would be disappearing into thick fog at the border

I think they should leave them there longer, full stop. Make them both smoke when new, stop smoking once a player has been there, or ten to fifteen minutes after. Then just leave the wreck . .. . I dont know what spawns at these things now, but back in Jan when I last saw one, I got my SVD . . . .the rest was just clothes

I had heard something like that but couldnt verify. I do remember being told to never take my eyes off a helicopter crash site to ensure it didnt despawn . . ..

The data you want is here I think. .. . from the global file So for cleanuplifetime dead player its 330 seconds, which is 5 minutes 30 seconds. I dont know if lying beside the body saves the body and kit, Ive never been in that position. Last time I died, my friend died too .. . . . about a minute later. Ive seen the runningmanz strip the kit off the body, and the kit then reverts to its lifetime. Thus saving the kit, maybe he did that?
