Cannot craft a tent or shelter yet, but it is something I would also like to see, also some form of crafted storage . . . I dont see many tents and or barrels, and when I do (barrels) they are in the most impossible places, ie not safe and nowhere near a safe place, and dragging them round the map is asking for trouble (in my opinion). I have a tent in my back pack now, and am heading to my favourite spot. I am hoping to make it there soon . . . some people manage it though, so . . I found a very neatly hidden barrel in Electro once . . . I borrowed some rounds . . .(sorry)

pristine clothes can be found in most places, bandages are a bit rarer problem is mostly clothes arent always pristine and you could get an infection if the bandage is wet or worn . . . I dont know if this mechanism is in the game yet When I get my preferred loadout re clothes, I cut my jeans and sweatshirt into bandages. Typically I die before I run out. Also you can make ropes out of rags . . . 12 required.

I presume that you have set up a server on your pc and are using that as your single player mode? To save your charcter you go to c: - program files (x86) - steam - steamapps - common - dayzserver - mpmissions - storage_1 In this folder you will find "players.db" If you save this in another location, then you can have save points. This will not affect your base or car status. If you crash the car, and reload a previous setpoint, the car will stay crashed, but you get your character and kit back. Same for your base. I use it to practise stuff. building. . approaches etc . . before I do it in the real DayZ

You are firing while only roughly aiming, if you do that in an open area, it will likely hit where you are aiming, no problems. In an enclosed area like that, the chance always exists that you will hit the "furniture" instead of the intended target. Same thing when you hide behind something or when shooting prone, you can hit the ground or the cover if you do not check your aim. Your weapon is also on full auto, the first round may go where you intend, the following rounds will not. From what I can see your opponent is only firing single shots You only have 12 rounds in the mag at the start of the clip, not a good idea in a firefight especially on full auto. The burst you fired used five rounds, one more burst and the mag is empty and you either have to change weapon or mag, again not a good idea. Only use full auto with a full mag and the target is in front of you with no obstructions If you can set semi auto, and aim down the sights before firing, saves rounds and ensures you hit the target. Looks like he did . . . . In that situation in cover you do have time Do you have "hold breath" on xbox now? I think you must do or? Do that too . .. The crosshairs on screen is effectively "firing from the hip" even though the character simulation has the weapon to the shoulder, in my opinion.

the butt pack (30 slots) attaches to the assault vest (also 30 slots) and as DayzDayz says you can wear a ghillie suit with it . . .or a backpack . . .

svd and misc clothing

Ive only seen one heli crash and obtained from that crash, one svd without magazine or sights. That is the only place and time I have ever seen an SVD. There are rumors that people have seen SVDs in mil bases, but I cannot confirm that. I never have and Ive been to a few on many occasions. Oh and I died soon after obtaining the SVD . . . . interfacing with a car, and Ive never had an SVD since . .. .. 😭

sure the sks out of the two choices when I spawn in after the latest black screen, I am straight in the nearest guardhouse/police station and generally find a skorpion or ij70, rounds and mags pretty quickly, the sk5 I find next , but I tend to hang around in the woods far from towns and so have to change my loadout to something more available. I tend to go with the flow, but retain the high cap mags and auto weapons. I find 45 or 762 39 rounds where I scout most commonly

+1 but also the reason I dont carry these weapons. mags are too small, and the reloading of the cr is a definite no. I dont want to be thinking about how to reload in a tight situation . . .the black screen will beckon. . .so the sk5 or the kam for me

for all of my deaths . . . I had no time to identify what clothes they were wearing . . . apart from the guy wearing a blue nato helmet who shot me for when I am observing players, mostly its at range and I dont really take note, I am more interested in what weapon they are holding and if they are a threat (heading in my general direction) and establishing evasion route. Mostly if they have a gun in their hands, I avoid them. People who run towards me, I also avoid.

I am on Pc .. .. SKS from my experience are a mil base staple .. . . CR I have found/find in civilian sites. Once with the Hunting scope installed. Both weapons (for me) have been pretty common. finding the rounds and the scopes has been the pain

I use the night to travel . .. the servers are usually low pop and travelling can be fast and dirty . . with the new night light (I am on pc) and a potentially higher pop at night, I may have to change that.

I am not a KOS player, I use it to snipe zombies and also as binoculars.. . . works fine shooting at range (even if I feel faintly ridiculous sniping with the sgk/mp 5) I am always carrying it so . . . more space in the pack instead of binoculars (which in the 1.01 release dont work anyway) looking forward to the 1.02 and the rangefinder working again .. . to see how far I can shoot with it I cannot say that I havent seen any red dot sights, because I dont look for them, but if I had to choose between iron sights and the red dot, it would be red dot every time . .

in the hand or on the weapon? on pc in 1.01 the scopes no longer functioned when used in the hand, nor the binoculars nor the rangefinder. These functions will return with the 1.02 update to the public servers (its functioning on the exp servers)

dont think so, but they havent set a date yet so .. . I havent noticed a server wipe on pc this year . . .
