Who care's about gamma use? LMAO these devs are like little girls, trying to put in rules even tho the game itself is still messed up, they will just lose all their players. Atleast before night mode was playable and everyone didn't leave the server when it gets dark.

lol so many trolls on this website defending the night mode... You literally can't see anything and that's a huge problem. Like would be nice if you could see a little bit of brightness, so you don't walk into a fence ... but you can't see nothing at all except for fuzzy grains.

meh. I've been playing this game since release so i'm fairly experienced with killing, but I usually try not to kill and then that's what gets me killed. I'm a fresh spawn again tho so maaybe tonight i'm gonna see if i can find someone to team up with help me put this car together ( I know a location of a vehicle on server 4236)

Yeah seems like the devs don't pay attention to what we are saying. Would be nice to get a " We have addressed this issue and are working on fixing the night mode, we are aware it is grainy and unplayable for most players". God damn im good you should hire me. I can't even play night mode anymore, you literally can't see anything and its just dumb.... i just log out and join another server. I never knew people go blind at night...

You're missing the point bud? you think I just play to loot and log in and out and loot more? Why would i do that lmao.... That would be pointless. I've just been trying to get decent gear to defend myself, maybe get a car up and running, maaybe have a little piece of land somewhere that could be just mine, build a base, put some cool christmas lights up... that's what everyone wants in dayz, but instead we get a ton of glitches and problems, combat logging, people server hopping etc. It'd be nice to get to that point one day... but instead i always get killed by people killing on site, and thats whats ruining the game too, so that's why i server hop. I could care less about "sexy gear" honestly... I just want a mosin with plenty of bullets and a pistol is enough...

The beauty of it is anyone is allowed to play anything they want in whatever play style they want, if that bothers anyone then they can go play Farming Simulator

The reason i log out when being shot at is cause i don't wanna die with all the shit on me, in my past experience with running into people ive' always been killed and then you have to spend hours trying to find shit again, especially if you're not server hopping and just trying to find stuff on a server that has already been looted by others. People who kill on site make this game shit, but i'm not complaining about them... they can do it if they want and i will just log out if i can get the chance. Also if i run into someone and they log out on me i really don't care, lol. Don't get why it bothers so many people

yeah so what if you get killed, you can go server hop by a military base and get looted up in less than half an hour lol....

I dont know if anyone else knows this but if you kill a zombie , and then stand over top of him, go to your inventory and then try to go down on the d pad to get his food/drink, it doesn't work, but if you press L2 twice quiclkly and then press y twice , it goes to your inventory(whatever the zombie was carrying) I didn't know this before and i just thought i wasn't able to grab their stuff, but this helps a lot especially when you're way out there and trying to find some food, most zombies carry food /drink

I had no idea about this, but it makes the game so much easier when you can get tuna or pipsi from a zombie

Make sure you stay on the road, don't text and drive, drinking isn't recommended and watch out for zombies ;)

I'm sorry to say but most people who play dayz combat log/server hop all the time. First thing someone told me when i was playing dayz was that the easiest way to loot up and get geared up with good shit is to go to the military base, loot up, log out and back in and loot up aagain, its genius in my opinion. The game devs make this game very hard to play , especially when you're limited with 2-3 hours a day for gaming. So i really don't care lol... i'm gonna log out if im being shot at cause it sucks when you're fully looted and then you have to go get geared up again. life is life and remember , the game is in development so still lots of bugs, and also remember, it\s just a video game. If it was me making the decisions i would add way more vehicles to the game, and it would actually make the gameplay more realistic and interesting, you'd be walking around and then someone drives by you in a car, makes the game play interesting. People could use cars for storage and great role play opportunities , but instead they're fully bugged out and once you actually get a car running, the engine light just comes on and then you're back on foot.

Why does it make you so upset? You still have your shit and all you wanted to do was kill him. I've been killed over and over again in this game whenever i try to interact with people , or my mic will bug out and they cant hear me and think that i dont have a mic even tho im talking to them and trying to get my mic working, then they kill me. Not everyone has 10 hours a day to play dayz, you gotta remember most people playing are older, people with lives, fathers, mothers, people who have mortgages and a full time job where everything doesnt revolve around dayz 24/7. All i've been trying to do in the game is collect some car parts to put a car together and get it going but it's been taking me all week because i keep getting killed on site. This game really makes it difficult to do anything if you only have 2-3 hours a day to play, So all i can say is deal with it.

The night mode is even worse then it was its very fuzzy and you can't see at all, forcing people to just server hop/... Why do the developers insist on making this game harder to play? Why are you guys trying to tweak the night mode so people can't adjust it so that we can see at night? You are losing players in this game and you guys are not in the right state to be doing that... You need to make night mode a lot more brighter, so people don't just leave when night mode is on the horizon... cause that's what I've been doing. And guess what... server hopping? I love server hopping because this game really can waste your time if you don't, there's way too many issues in game to play it normally and not server hop and everyone can agree with me on that. Known issues for me on XBOX ONE S (Also my friends have stopped playing with me because they say the game sucks and pisses them off) 1) NIGHT MODE - broken , unable to play due to grain visuals on screen. ( I just disconnect and join a new server , always try to be close to a base so i can loot everything twice too ;)) 1) Can't switch to items in inventory when item is in hand 2) It's almost impossible to find vehicles/vehicle parts after spending all day playing, only found a door and couldn't even pick it up to bring it back to my car 50 miles back the other way 3) Zombies are still getting into buildings/sheds so be careful, I was hiding in a house had to kill 5 zombies that just appeared inside the building... soo annoying. 4) Compass is unusable in third person view and is sloppy to use even in first person view ( and this is a crucial part of the game since there is no map) 5) Tutorial needs to be fully re done (more detailed) to assist new players so they can learn everything about the game and bring more people to the game 6) Can't use rags to heal 7) Can't find any bandages anywhere( even in the hospitals) even after walking all the way accross the map from east side to west side 8) Server list does not show population 9) Player got kicked out of server randomly 3 times in one day ( was playing all day) 10) No Rain at all in the server?? Seems like after this last update things went backwards, and lots of details weren't mentioned in the update log , so whoever is in charge of that needs to check the list and make sure you are telling people what you're adding to the game... like a truck battery and truck door?? I really want to play this game more and I hope i get a reply from a developer
