Best way to fix this problem to keep characters from server hopping, is to make it so that you can't carry things with you from server to server, but instead when you join a server you always start as a new character , and your data and base building gets saved to that server only, and if you server hop to another one, you don't bring your stuff with you or character, you start as a brand new character, so that forces you to stay in one server. I was surprised to see they even released the game like this, where you can just carry stuff from server to server. First time playing I was told right away to just server hop to loot, so obviously thats a problem lol..

I agree , etiquette should be followed , but remember this is game preview , so not all things in the game are working correctly, and there is server wipes everything other week, which makes it pretty pointless to play without server hopping right now I used to try and play this game the way its meant to be played, joining one server and sticking to it, but realized quickly that you waste your time because of the wipes / moving servers to PC. Maaybe one day, if the 1.0 comes out and i read some proper patch notes with important details fixed in game, instead of just adding stuff all the time, then I will play dayz how its' meant to be played

I can predict the future right now tho, that when 1.0 is released on xbox, it will be full of problems still.. yet they call it 1.0?

Ya and then maybe when my son shoots someone in GTA online, I'll tell him to be more respectful next time and let him know he's gonna shoot him. Video games aren't real life, very different. Video games should be pleasurable experience, not a job. Dayz feels like you need to make a career out of it if you really want to experience everything in the game, other than walking around and getting shot Remember San Andreas? Do you know why it was the best game released and many people agree? Because they gave you the freedom to do whatever you want, list of cheats available, you could spawn a jet on the highway, you didn't have to spend hours and hours trying to save up your money to buy a jet, or you could spawn a tank and just go messin around the town FOR FUN! Seems like dayz maybe a little different, and they're just making less people play now with adding annoying timers etc...

Woah and who said anything about cheating? Server hopping is not cheating, its a feature available in the game with the press of a couple buttons, you just back out and come back. Server hopping is a feature in dayz that allows plays to heavily loot themselves for PVP experiences.

I don't even play it anymore cause its so glitchy and waste of time to play ... spend hours just to try and get a battery for a car, get killed by a teleporting zombie or trying to shoot someone and the bullets don't even register...lol I tried to give this game a chance cause the idea of the game is nice but the game itself so glitchy and broken, they won't even fix persisting problems in the game and insist on just adding more broken things to the game instead And It's none of your business why i'm on the forum and what i'm doing here... I paid for this game just like you ;)

Woah easy there have some respect, everyone is allowed to give their input, so you better watch your mouth. I'm allowed to server hop as much as I want, I dont' have time to play video games 24/7 like you and spend hours on hours building a base, actually have a life and a wife and kids. So when I'm gaming it's my time to do whatever I want and i dont have alot of time so ill server hop as much as i want and kill people for fun... all you kids crying " go play cod if you're not a real man" lmaooo... gaming in general doesn't make you a man , goes alot further than that. and also...I'm not being a trolly kid, I actually play dayz quite often, or used to alteast till all my friends stopped playing it cause of all the glitches and constant walking around to try and find eachother...

Server hopping is the best part of dayz, cause you can collect everything quickly by just hopping back and forth from servers, its genius. and go kill people for fun ;)

Who cares the 1.0 will probably suck just as bad as any other update... this game sucks don't buy it, unless you're getting it for pc, you'll waste your money on xbox

My icons are staying white... Or alreast it says its going down but my poor dude hasnt eaten all morning and he doesnt seem hungry... Not going to yellow.. Cant complain tho was sick of always having to run around starving...has the decrease rate been minimized ?

It would also be nice to have a navigation bar at the top , and you could set waypoints and just walk straight there... We can all dream i guess lol.

I love how right at the bottom you used the excuse again that its a game preview... Even tho pc 1.0 is out and its still full of bugs..

How bout just get rid of the NIGHT overall? What's the point if you can't even have any night time pvp experiences because it only last 5 mins... no time for raids or anything really.

It'd be a beautiful thing to see someone higher up respond to this and give some feedback/answers/plans for future. We need to keep in the loop if they want us to find the bugs in the game and get on the road to a fully working 1.0, and actually respond to our concerns.

Now with pubg coming out with their snow map today, i'm probably just gonna go play that till they fix dayz, which may be never because even with pc 1.0 out, people still saying theres lots of bugs they haven't fixed, and they claim it will never be completed

Dont get why 4401 had to be moved...that was a populated server with 40 plus people on it on xbox with many people that i knew in it. Talk about ruining the experience, that is a slap in the face, game preview or not.

Fix the sliding down ladder animation, those should be priorities. and also invisible clothing... how is that not fixed yet

These updates were getting are just a conspiracy not a real update... seems like they've actaully messed up the game more since i started playing about 3 months ago

lol you mean walking down the coast, unable to find anything because everyone already looted it... and then being killed by a guy who plays 24/7 and is geared up lol
