If you actually play on xbox you know there isn't much base building/vehicles going on unless there dupers..i played on the weekend to really observe what goes on and basically, high pop server, its a bunch of freshies running around taking down duper bases, these guys were just hanging out in this small town with three houses and they had ammo on ammo on ammo, hmm wonder where they got that?? People just kill and take loot... there is no roleplay experience, nothing to even really be feared about... because you know that you're just gonna get shot, its like pubg basically. So you have options... you can be a duper like the rest... cause they ALL do it... i spoke with 20 different guys on mic about it too... They need to get rid of the ability to do that... and ALSO a big problem on xbox is the invisibility glitch that people do, that just ruins the experience. Dayz is currently NOT a hardcore survival game on xbox.. its a joke.. you just run around with your pants off with the other freshies getting killed by DUPERS

I agreee with this!! Most people play between 2-4 hours per day so that would be suitable for the average player to experience night and day while playing

Everyday i check dayz twitter to see if they update the xbox or talk about xbox problems and they never do...makes me sad

Exactly. Way too many things being added to the game even tho there is shit that doesn't work.. They should try to keep the game more simple (less stuff) if they can't handle adding more stuff...nobody wants more shit, we just wanna play the game as its supposed to with proper functionality of the stuff thats already implemented into the game

I'm not sure if anyone mentionned this, but... 1) The zombies are super annoying... I'm talking about the sound that they make, it's a bit too loud? I was in a shed and zombies surrounded me and I had to turn down the volume lol.. 2) You can't even properly jump over a fence? I was trying to get a friend to play and he was very annoyed by trying to jump over a fence, it really shouldn't be that difficult. They should add a jumping animation for jumping over the fence when you're standing infront of it. It would be nice if the jumping animation actually worked for any objects that are rougly 5 ft tall... cause in real life you can easily climb over these things. 3) Who the hell added the chips to the tuna can? Last time i checked eating tuna shouldn't be as loud as the zombies screaming around the shed... 4) Bullet registration is still shit, really ruins the gameplay experence when you're only working with 12 bullets, then wasted 6 because it "missed" the zombie.. even tho i was aiming right at his head. 5) You still can't slide down a ladder, which i'm shocked about cause you think it would be a simple fix... and it's been in the game before too, until one the updates came out and then it was messed up. 6) Reloading weapons should be easier, you should just reload and it automatically gets into the chamber. 7) When picking up clothing, for example, You have a shitty red sweater on, but you want to put on the cool jacket you found, when you pick up the jacket it goes to your inventory...You should be able to hit a button (equip?) and it automatically replaces the clothing you have on. But also have an option to put into inventory just in case you're picking something up for a friend. 8 ) Zombies run faster than players? Last time I checked, humans should have more agility and speed than zombies.. unless there boss zombies or hardcore ones that are more freaky...you should be able to outrun a hoard of zombies... and not just hide into a house and wait for them to disperse ... and believe me i've tried to attack 6 zombies at once with a knife, and it didnt end well... 9) Night mode is gone? or it's only like 5 mins long? The night mode had some blurry fuzzy problems before but that has improved alot, its more clear now, and the flaslight works great too, but the night mode is just too short for roleplay experiences. 10) Randomy getting kicked out of server... makes you feel like you did something wrong.. even tho i was just doing my own thing looting. I know it's game preview and all but just curious to why that even happens

That's all i meant by the game is too hard hard. Games should be a challenge not a chore... and with dayz theres no end reward either. You are constantly working hard to build a base or a car, then you get killed and done and thats over, but you spent weeks and weeks trying to build a car or put a base together, but then they reset the server or you die or the base or car despawns and its gone, all that work you put in for absolutely NOTHING. There should be more of a rewarding feeling in dayz but there isnt

The game is too hard to play for most people who have busy lives, but the people who sit around and have more time to play are the ones who build bases and put cars together, but for the average player its nearly impossible to do any of that, so people get disappointed when they see the trailer but you can't even do all those things in game.

How? If you join a server loot up, and try to leave to go server hop, it will automatically put you back in that same server you came out of... idk how to do that im not a computer programmer but when theres a will theres a way

It is really isn't crucial for players to choose their servers, you should be able to just invite your friends into the server your playing, but server selection should just be automated, get rid of the server list, That's where the problem is.

lol the amount of threads created about people crying that they are being shot on site is funny. This game simply sucks on XBOX... No server persistence, people always killing you, lack of weapons and vehicles, and in the end , after spending weeks and weeks of playing, nothing saves, no stats, no bases, no gear(due to server resets for pointless updates), no night mode(only 5 min long?) So what's left to do in this game??!?! Well let me tell you.. Get a gun, any gun you can find, and kill other people for fun, see if you can surivive a battle. Until they fix dayz to be a more pleasurable experience that is rewarding, then people will just continue to kill on site because there's always gonna be a bored Timmy sitting in his basement going around killing people.

You can't have consequences for a game that is in game preview, technically they're lucky people actually buy it to assist in their development, and maybe devs should take a hint and try to fix the game if people are exploiting the features in game, they know exactly the problems... they made the game

This is irrelevant to Dayz because it is in Game Preview, no where in the code of conduct does it say when a Game Preview is out you can't exploit the glitches, it only says for Final Version Games

Server hopping is not cheating, if it was it wouldn't be allowed in the game, but clearly everyone does it lmao.

Its cause theres nothing else worth doing due to server cancellations, server wipes, and all the glitches in the game on Xbox.. I've tried before. Now it's just interesting to see how long this will go on before they actually fix the game

Not everyone takes this game as seriously as you, half players on xbox probably aren't even on the forum, so you can't expect everyone to abide by rules when the feature is available in game to server hop
