Just remember this, you're not the only without AR or heavy weapons... most people I run into have nothing except pistol or shotgun too... sometimes they don't even have a gun.. I kinda like that fact that its hard to find an AR cause it makes it more realistic... its an apocalyptic environment, in real life, if shit hit the fan, it wouldn't be that easy to just find an AR... pistols would be a lot easier to find

Yeah I played in a private server, found an m4 with a bunch of clips, then found a car, then a radiator motor oil and gas can within like an hour... I didn't expect to actually find all that. but its no fun when you know that nobody else is on the server..

I think people go into low pop servers to take all the m4's and ak's, and then bring them back to their server or home base.

Lol can't any savage just join the private server tho? Then you'll be playing with savages. And if you're on a server with no people in it that's lame.. you get bored quickly. It's all about the action with 40+ people.. the main public servers should be playable and be able to build bases. They should try to simplify the base building with less items to make it easier on the game itself

Anyone else having trouble trying to pick up zombie's items? like the backpack or hat. Seems pointless for them to add this feature if we cant even take the zombies backpack after we kill them

Wow the dumbest response from developers of Dayz. You guys are literally telling people to server hop now even tho you put in those restrictions? Do you guys really care about your players? The private servers suck...You guys added way too many and there should have NEVER been such thing as 10 slot server... it should have been 40, 60, or 100 I'm glad that im not affected by it because I don't play on those servers but damn. I would lose my shit

The ingame instructions aren't very clear as it says "Press A" to move to hands, so that's what I was doing, and it wasn't working, even with empty hands I will try tonight and HOLD a and press RB. Thanks for answering my question even tho it felt a bit insulting when I'm just asking for help

Really? no sound lag at all on your og xbox? I have og xbox and played it before the update frequently, lagged alot in the big cities and sound lag was horrible, now its even worse
