    My server isn't having this issue. All 3 flavors of vehicle stay put after acquiring them. I take it that this must be an issue for the public hive vanilla servers?

    The cars in my possession are also pre-1.03. I have not tested any newly spawned cars post 1.03 to see if they disappear. Does anyone know were the persistence files/timers are located for vehicles? Please tell me they are not located within the .pbo files.

    I have a server on a private shard. We have plenty of spawned vehicles but I have not experienced any vehicles disappearing as of yet. They're all still in the same spots we've left them in. Does anyone know if this happening on experimental also or just the official public shard vanilla servers?

    Definitely damaged tank then. None new spawned cars I tested on my server burned through fuel fast so not a bug issue. Epoxy used to fix that problem many versions ago by pointing it at the gas tank (where you fill with fuel), but I doubt it works now. If it does work, let us know.

    Do we have instructions on how to do that? Of course we can use spawn points for the V3S or Transitbus but the proper naming for that hatchack has to be entered in the cfgeventspawn.xml otherwise it wont spawn anyway. Period. Not to mention you still need details for it in the event.xml. If your going to feature a new car, shouldn't all this be done? This isn't a mod. Or is this patch a mod? At this point it might as well be if we have to fix it ourselves. - Awe, c'mon! You guys don't do sarcasm?

    Issues I've noticed: 1. Crouching. What is up with that damn swooshing noise? It's loud enough to alert every infected within a 50mi/84km radius. 2. 1PP to 3PP. There is a green silhouette of the head when switching between the two views. It happens very quickly but never noticed it during the transition before. 3. Gates. Any gates built prior to 1.03 have an invisible wall that you cannot pass through when the gate is opened. *sigh* 4. Sliding down ladders. So it wears out the gloves. Then you get cut. *rolls eyes* That's fine. But they wear out WAY TO FAST. Dial it back a tad. Please. Say, 15 ladders before the gloves are ruined. Instead of the current 5.

    I'm assuming they are using the 4x4 spawn coordinates since its also a hatchback? The only place I could find anything about it was under cfgspawnabletypes.xml and its referred to as "Hatchback_02". There is nothing under events.xml or cfgeventspawns.xml. Maybe the "VehicleOffroadHatchback" is a mixed bag now? Correction: The types.xml shows parts for the Hatchback_02, same with cfgspawnabletypes.xml but nothing for the events.xml or cfgeventspawns.xml.

    In my experience, if I had a leak on the 4x4, the fuel gauge would start dropping the moment the engine started. Not super fast, but if you let it idle for 2 min, you were under a half tank just sitting there. If you don't notice the loss of fuel just idling, it might not be a leak. All the vehicles on my server are assembled. I'll have to go find one today and test it out.

    CrossBow Mod Need Update

    I'd like to update this Crossbow mod for my server but am not sure where to start. I have DayZ Tools installed. I have no desire to change the mechanics or anything about the mod, I simply want to update it for the 1.03 release. The author is no longer going to keep it up to date and has released permissions to unpack/repack etc. Are there any tutorials on basic mod creation or at least a tutorial to update existing mods so they are playable with updated releases of DayZ by Bohemia? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1693727516

    I haven't had any issues with the Z's. However I did wipe my server, reinstall all the mods that were updated and then did a player and economy restore and all is working fine for my server. I make it a habit to wipe my server when an update comes through. It just seems to work out better.

    I can confirm this is still an issue. Most noticeably with the FX-45. I have to drop the ammo to the ground and then I can load the mag in my hand. It doesn't happen every time, but once it happens, it continues even if I log off and come back. There is something that triggers it because there are times it reloads from a backpack/pouch/pants/shirt etc without issue.

    Currently I use a server hosted through gtx gaming. I have not been able to force the use of mods of since 1.0. Is anyone aware of this? This is what I've tried so far: equalmodrequired=1 - I get kicked for bad version the moment I click play. This happens with the mods installed or deleted from client side. I used the Steam Dayz Launcher and DZSA Launcher when the mods are installed and still get kicked with this option active. equalmodrequired=0 - I can use DZSA Launcher, DayZ Launcher option from steam, or launch normally and can join the server WITH or WITHOUT mods installed. verifySignatures = 2 appears to have no affect in the process what so ever. I have not tried disabling it yet. It seems to enforce only the game version. I have tried the above options, with and without the DZSA Launcher Mod Sync Tool on the server. You can join with or without mods either way.

    So after disabling @BaseBuildingLogs. equalModRequired = 1; which will stop people from joining without mods....WORKS with @BaseBuildingLogs disabled. equalModRequired = 1; works like it should with all my other mods enabled (together and individually). @BaseBuildingLogs prevented the server from booting all the way when it was the only mod enabled. I'll have to inquire to the reason. Issue considered resolved.

    I was wrong on the forceSameBuild = 1; It was already enabled and I had entered it a second time which caused the server to freakout. forceSameBuild = 1; works

    verifySignatures = 2;  - no issues with this option forceSameBuild = 1; - currently keeps the server from starting, so investigating that equalModRequired = 1; - kicks players for bad version I currently have verifySignatures = 2 and equalModRequired = 1 enabled. 181.214.133.55:2302 if you want to try and connect with DZSA Launcher. My server shows up there with the required mods. @BaseBuildingLogs;@ConfigurableMetabolism;@DayZ-Expansion-Chat;@Easy Signs;@KillFeed;@OP_BaseItems;@RPCFramework;@WeaponReduxPack;@Simple Roof Its possible one of the above mods is causing the issue also, but I have no idea which.

    Checked that already. I wiped the server purposely for that reason. Unsubscribed from all my mods. Deleted all files client side. Reinstalled the server, re-added all the mods, re-subscribed to all mods in steam, ran the steam update.....*sigh* I may do another full wipe this weekend and just be methodical in the re-install.

    For some reason, "forceSameBuild = 1;" is preventing my server from completing the startup cycle. Will have to research the logs to see why its hanging.

    Clean install, no modification to any server files. verifySignatures = 2; -check forceSameBuild = 1; -haven't tried equalModRequired = 1; -check I'll have to wait til the server is empty and try all 3. So far verifySignatures = 2; and equalModRequired = 1; result in an immediate kick for bad version. And thats with or without the correct mods.

    I have a problem with the DZSALauncher too. You can go to Battlemetrics.com and filter the type of server you want to connect to. You'd still have to connect with the IP under the community tab so not sure how much help that would be except you wouldn't be using the game to search for the server since you did it through battlemetrics. So after searching, maybe hit the community tab right away, enter the IP and see if that works for you.
  25. Thirst and Hunger have been leveled out so your not needing to eat and drink every 10 minutes. Plenty of loot. Not too much, but not sparse either. Cars are ASSEMBLED. In any apocalyptic scenario, you're not going to have to assemble every vehicle you come across, why be forced to do it in a game? 60+ Cars on the map at all times, 60+ Heli sites, 40+ Police Car crash sites. Base building is encouraged. Day cycle is normal. 1hr of dawn, 10hrs daylight, 1hr dusk. Server restarts every 12hrs for backups. TS3 Server is free and you may request your own channel to be password locked for privacy. You want to do it solo, play here. You want a team, play here. You want to play nice then betray your team, that's right, play here. It's survival. We're not here to hold your hand and wipe your @$$. Newbz, Vets and every player in between are welcome.
