    Force Loot to Despawn

    Instead of changing nominal and min values and waiting a couple of days for the server to eventually (if at all) to despawn the extra massive amounts of loot, is there a faster way to specifically remove loot by force? Then update the nominal/min values with the desired lower values for desired amount of fresh spawned loot items on Chenarus?
  2. Was curious if anyone knows how to make vehicle doors, trunks, hoods spawn on the static wrecked cars only on Chernarus. No more doors/hoods/trunks in houses, sheds etc. I don't mind battery, radiator, headlights, spark plugs or tires spawning at their current locations. Any hints on how to pull this off is greatly appreciated.

    I'm going to have to agree somewhat with @Derleth. What happened to appropriately notifying the community on these patches? Or better identified as "micro" patches? Multiple micro updates in a weeks time and the only indication is from @Tom_48_97 who simply drops the update randomly into this post. I feel its a fairly reasonable request to have these micro updates/patches given a proper post so they can be readily identified by the community regardless how small the change might have been. Please take this into consideration Dev's. The community and all our grumbles would grumble slightly less in this particular regard. I'm certain of it. Slightly.

  5. Infected numbers and response to gun shots etc is soooo much better. I'd be ok with increasing the numbers even more, especially in the larger cities and military area's. Hordes. As of right now, the infected activity in high loot area's in where the game default should have been. We'll see what the next few weeks bring. Trying to cover all the major cities across the map currently.

    Just a side thought: have you tried navigating to your "My Documents" folder and deleting the "DayZ" folder? Some people have had success with that. If you are heavy on custom key binds it wouldn't be the greatest idea. I simply lower the resolution in game which seems to be another workaround. Not having this issue on community servers though, only official servers.

    I cannot play on official or vanilla community servers without getting the black screen. I have to change the resolution to something lower than HD/1080p and then the screen renders. The UI is unaffected. I do not have this issue with modded community servers. Go figure. If anyone else is having this problem, I've created task in the feedback tracker.     Finding friends isn't difficult at all. Use iZurvive like the rest of us. As soon as you find a street sign or town name you and your friends will be able to orient yourselves and meet up in minutes. If you don't like the new spawn system in place to counter server hopping, you should try community servers instead. That solves the server hopping issue entirely. Good Luck!

It's actually the amount of memory the server is using to load all the mods, assembled cars, 60+ heli sites and 60+ police crash sites, etc. If I remove all the mods it only uses about 2.68GB out of 16GB of available memory. Played on it last night, no issues at all. Will be making my way towards some of the more larger cities/NWAF to test out the numbers. I'm hoping to be completely overwhelmed by infected by firing a weapon. In survival, if you make just one mistake, it should always be near fatal, if not FATAL. Every time. Depending on the severity of your mistake of course. AssembledCars|PVP/PVE|BaseBldg+|KillFeed|WeaponRedux OR AssembledCars 2|Vanilla|HARDCORE|PVP/PVE|1P If anyone is interested in giving it a run. Both only 20 slot low pop servers.

    I saw that on my server but I had a mod enabled that we no longer were using. Once I backed out and looked at the mods I was using, I found the one causing the issue and unsubscribed from it. Reconnected without getting the error.
  12. Uploaded the new file. Restarted the Server and will compare tonight after work. Can't wait. Expecting big things now that you've conquered the spawn radius issue. I'll update with results in a couple of days. Hopefully this update will ring true on our slogan...Only 3% will Survive... Thanks! Update: I noticed the server memory usage jumped from 3.11GB to 3.63GB after applying that update. If this means more infected on the field in high risk/high reward areas, then its great news!

    Official servers is where the problem is at. My server is modded, I'm not having any of the issues that are being voiced here. However, I have played on the official servers and they're bugged as hell. Official servers have a global shard (shared database), servers like mine have a private shard and do not share database info. I don't have to worry about server hopping, or a global config/setup that has persistent issues or causes flying cars or collide issues making people die from invisible barbed wire, so on and so forth. Most people are having issues on official servers. Community servers like mine are using mods to get around all the issues and get more out of the game that currently has been lacking for some time. We still see the occasional bug, but not near as many as you will find on the global official servers sharing the same database.

    If this was an "official" server, you may want to try a "community" server instead. Some are still vanilla, some are lightly modded and others heavily modded. My server isn't having any of the issues people are describing except that bases cannot be locked. Other than that, it's basically bug free compared to official servers. Plenty of community servers to choose from out there. You should try it once.
  15. Just added to my server. I run the stable patch on a very lightly modded server. SO MUCH BETTER. Finally Survivor worthy spawns. Wolf territories should be next. Thanks for this!

    Sorry you guys are experiencing so much trouble. I'm running a lightly modded server with private shard. The only issues we've had so far is the inability to lock bases. Locks simply cannot be added to a gate. Other than that, no flying cars, no missing tents, everything is where it was left prior to restart. And no we didn't have to wipe the server. My server even restarts twice a day to perform backups. So, to get to the two questions I actually have: 1. Is anyone having issues with attaching locks to a gate for bases? Is there a workaround? 2. Which number for "verifysignatures=" will allow players to join with or without mods? As of 1.03 you could join our server without mods or you had to have all the mods with "equalModRequired=0". So all or none. I'd like to keep it that way.

    I'd lean towards a sync issue since not everyone is experiencing it then. Could be the route his ISP takes to get to the server causing the problem. I get kicked from my own DayZ server occasionally for high ping (380- 490) and I'm only 26 mi away. Yet my Arma 3 server is in the same data center and I never get kicked from it let alone have a ping over 70. Everyone gets routed differently so a few things may need investigating connection wise. PingPlotter could help. I uses it occasionally. For some reason I get sent to Washing DC and back to Texas just to get to my server in Dallas. When I get kicked its because of packet loss at the DC IP location.

    I know this game is a CPU hog. My PC exceeds everything but the CPU, yet I don't experience the car issue. Not sure his specs outside the HDD but the two combined (HDD and minimum CPU requirement) would explain a lot.

    Anyone experiencing weather issues? Sunny, no wind, cloudless, yet I'm freezing, soaking WET, can SEE and HEAR the rain. ***Fixed by logging off/on*** OR Can't SEE or HEAR any rain, yet I'm soaked and freezing! ***Logging off/on had no affect*** Three other players including myself experienced this issue yesterday on my server. This first instance described was remedied when you logged off/on. But within 40 min, we were all soaked and freezing again with no adverse weather active. We tried the logging off/on solution again which fixed nothing. There was no wind, no rain but we were soaked and freezing, losing health, etc. This is the first time my server has experienced this type of weather issues. For us this is a minor issue, an irritant at best but could otherwise hinder what would have been a more enjoyable experience.

    Gunter 2 actually is better than the 4x4. Shift key gives you a boost now. To get the new hatchback to spawn you have to clear the vehicle db. There are 2 ways of doing it. Either way you will loose all current vehicles. At least that was my experience. BACKUP YOUR SEVER BEFORE YOU START! 1st Method: On your server navigate to \mpmissions\dayzOffline.chernarusplus\storage_75898\data\ and delete the vehicle.bin file and restart the server 2nd Method: Edit the events.xml and set the "<active>1</active>" to "<active>0</active>" and restarted the server. Once its up, switch it back to "<active>1</active>" and you'll have the new spawns. To make them spawn assembled use the code below. You'll crash eventually so don't worry about the parts that spawn. You'll use them for sure. Edit events.xml - the <min> and <max> values that are set to ZERO refer to the minimum and maximum amount of random damage the car will spawn with. The other min-max values that are at 60 refer to how many vehicles will spawn.     Figured as much. It explains quite a few weight issues. Last night I had a third of my stamina left. I now have less than 5% left. Changed nothing, just logged in and that was the first thing I noticed before I even moved. First one to open a Feedback Tracker gets a cookie!!!!

    For some reason the AK seems to weigh more than usual. We've noticed that on my server. Simply using a different weapon seems to give a third to half the stamina back. But that was before they applied the "fix" for the glow stick. I'll have to see later today how it changes the balance.
