It would make the most sense to set it up so anyone can join a server and create a character so long as there is space for them to join. Offline players don't count towards the 60 and would have to wait their turn until space became available to join their server

I remember Ark had character locked servers in the preview and it was great then they added the feature where you could transfer your character between servers and bring your gear/tames with you using the large obelisks on the map (also where you would spawn boss fights.) Was this removed?

I think that character locked servers would cut down on a lot of the backstabbing that goes on. If you were always playing with the same 60 people you'd think twice before betraying your friends and you might stop and talk to someone when you saw them instead of just shooting because you don't know or trust them. With more people and groups of people talking you could actually form reputations on a server

Car handling is much improved with this update good work BI. Steering is a lot smoother and acceleration/traction on hills is better. It's too easy to have a heavy foot now, just smashed into a pole when the lag finally caught up. It's trashed salvaged 3 wheels from it though

Having the same problem

Had a barrel full of 3 aks and full mags and it disappeared yesterday or the day before. Don't think anyone found it bc they probably would have just grabbed the guns and mags and left the barrel. Area wasn't accessible by car

You can fill them at the pumps

You need to look at the area just behind the passenger side door

Was the engine ruined after you crashed it? My car is still in the same spot in the woods where I stashed it last weekend

Put one in your hand, open your inventory and select another strip and press B

Does running the engine consume oil at the same rate as gasoline? Not very realistic if so

Yeah you need to hold RB and look directly at the cap where you pour the water into the top of the radiator. It's pretty small

If you choose to exit the server and then cancel the logout timer your character will remain sitting

Depends on the ammo you're sending through it. It can only handle 1 big bullet like a 7.62x54 but you can get off 3 .380 rounds before it breaks. I seem to come across a lot more plastic bottles now though than when it was the PET bottle before the update

IZurvive is correct, they even updated the new water well locations

Camo netting is for tents but is way too bright imo

Ghillie is in game but you need regular netting not camo netting and 2 burlap strips will get you a hood or gun wrap. The other pieces require more material

Literally almost just died from this. Got in a fight with a wolf pack and zeds heard the shots and came running into the fight. My axe got stuck in my hands and stopped doing any damage at all. I limped away and luckily they stopped chasing after a little while

The death animation is buggy around structures. I submitted a bug report already but I had a guy yesterday follow me in to a general store blasting away with his shotgun completely missing so I spun around and emptied an ak mag into him and when he died he glitched through the wall and I couldn't loot his body

They're back up

Also tapping RT quickly instead of holding it down helps to regain control sometimes
