If I have the time I join a different server and position a barrel near the spot I'm stashing it and dump some parts in it and log off with the rest in my inventory/hands. Also I think someone on here wrote the car will still run when its out of gas, you just won't be able to start it again if it shuts off. Could run it out of fuel and have a couple full jerrys stashed ready to go or fill a barrel with gas (I think haven't tried this yet.)

This seems to be true lately, even the coastal cities are much quieter than they used to be. Until we get persistence fixes and bases become actually worth building people will probably just pvp where the most loot spawns -

Get off the coast and find something to defend yourself with before you go looking for interactions with people you don't know, especially armed people. Doesn't mean you have to use it, but better to have a gun and not need it than to need one and not have it

Been spending a lot of time in Cherno lately, lots of tall buildings and great views.

Garages and industrial areas, I've found them in houses too but that was a couple updates ago. The hatchet works as a hammer

Would be cool if you could bury them with a shovel too or use metal wire and multiple mines to make bigger IEDs to take out cars and trucks

The entire MW2 player base would have been perma banned if that was true, I used to hear some crazy shit from people in those lobbies. But maybe everyone just wasn't so quick to report each other back then

Lol I love those messages making people mad online is some of the most fun I've ever had on the internet. You could get away with saying whatever you wanted without getting suspended back in the 360 days miss those times

Cars have been improved a lot over the last couple updates. The screen freezes were gone for me last update, car handled fine. I play on the Xbone X though so not sure if it's as smooth for everyone else

Experienced the item stuck in hands bug again yesterday. I had binoculars in my hand that I picked up off the ground and used the quick select wheel to switch to my combat knife which was in my boot slot and was then unable to get the knife out of my hand after

Think I remember reading in a status update that the bow and throwable objects like grenades got moved to the far back burner priority wise. I think they have to code the entire physics system for them. Can't wait for the bow though it would make being a fresh spawn easier/more fun and being able to silently kill from a distance would be awesome

Yes at the pumps just walk up and hold RT like a well. Weird because I think in the mod the pumps were broken because there's no electricity so you had to fill them up at the large fuel tanks near gas stations

I think rendering problems are also related to screen freezes when driving. It gets worse when you drive from open fields into areas with more structures

Big fan of the ak but 7.62x39 just doesn't pack the same punch 7.62x54 does. The only comparable rifle to the svd right now is the mosin but since the internal mag is bugged (and only holds 5 rounds if it was operable) it's much slower than a svd with 10 round mag. Still love the mosin though haven't bothered looking for chopper crashes yet really

You can find jerry cans in garages and industrial areas just like all the other parts and you can refill them at gas stations. Just take it slow if you don't want your screen to freeze and end up wrapped around a tree

It's all about location. When I'm not in military areas I walk around with my gun holstered and don't shoot at anyone that doesn't shoot at me first. If I'm at NWAF believe my gun is in my hands and I'm ADS around every corner I turn

Wear one sometimes when looting military areas but usually swap it out for a field vest before I head out. I use the assault backpack and usually run a AK/Mosin or AK/SVD kit so I need the extra space to be able to put my ak away

Use the iZurvive app to find car spawns its dead accurate and garages/industrial areas are always full of car parts. Its pretty time consuming to actually get one up and running and once you do if you drive too fast your screen freezes and by the time the lag catches up you're smashed into a tree. Totaled 2 cars back to back yesterday so I'm done messing with them for a while

The good old days back before you could do that it was way easier to control a server as an alpha tribe. No worrying about 4am server invasions by 60 man mega tribes
