I signed out near there in Svet. I’ll have to check out the woodlands near there later on. The elk is the only animal I’ve yet to bag.

It works better for me pressing the d-pad left and right with both thumbs. Seems to change very quickly.

Apologies If you think about it.. DayZ being a human social experiment of sorts, with some groups abiding by certain morals and ethics is, in a roundabout way, on par with political discussions... No...no.. political talk is about as bad as discussing religion, who am I kidding..right. Back to DayZ talking points.

Xbox activity post from DayZ mentions around an hour.

There’s also a huge difference (which I’m sure you’re aware of) between capitalism and communism, particularly when you enter certain countries, and agin, state rule... In the long run, we will of course as a species, be required to find alternative methods to our consumption needs. Very intriguing discussions and topics. Perhaps after a few beverages we could venture down the rabbit hole within the rabbit hole?

In a sense...given the fact people are able to enact change. However, just because change is possible, doesn’t mean it should always be done. Particularly in the sense of art (gaming). Companies like BI should be free to create the experience they were after when creating DayZ. That’s not to say we as consumers shouldn’t have a voice, only that (again) we should be careful what, and how, those changes we want fit into their game. It’s always interesting how things come full circle..

I wasn’t trying to put a political agenda in place with my post, as in the US, capitalism (no party affiliation) is a big factor as to why buisnesss (and people) were, and are, able to become very successful, without the state becoming involved. While it’s true corporations, after some time, lose their human factor. At the end of the day, it’s still people which decide whether or not to continue to fund said organization. That’s the beauty of the consumer base. If they (we) enjoy a particular product, we buy, invest, and the company grows. On the flip side, billion dollar corporations have gone under from many different bad business practices. People are still able to affect a businesses outcome, as the bottom line hits them, the ripple continues. Humans have a tendacy to read into things that just aren’t there. It makes things seems more interesting, like there’s some grand scheme going on behind the scenes. Think Illuminati... OooOooO Whats created by man can be undone by man.

I sense some renewed excitement around these parts.. Good stuff everyone at BI! I’ve been following this game for years, very excited to be partaking in this game on Xbox. Hope you’re able to spend the time you need, in order to iron out this game into what we know it can be.

Oh yeah, the infected are certainly not the only trouble.

This There’s suppose to be a whole slew of updated sound effects coming sometime soon-ish.

Here you go: https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/nayte/screenshot/10584388 It’s giving us a thumbs up...hehe. Guy told us there’s another step to the glitch, where you can turn into a mini character. I’ve ran across a group doing the torso glitch. Ran to cover, as I expected to get lit up, though they took off as well.

Capitalism is a good thing. Remember, no one wants to work for a poor person. It’s when governments try to stick their hands into the mix is when trouble starts..

I’d imagine night servers will come with the cold weather and diseases update, along with a bevy of bug fixes. That said, I hope batteries last a bit longer. At least lasting the duration of the night before needing to change them. Otherwise, we’ll have to carry a surplus. Kind of silly the car batteries only last about 5 minutes in the broadcast stations. Just my .02

Hehe, we’ll have our feast! Sooner or later...

They seem to be quite random. Here’s a thread where some pointed out some hot spots.

A friend tested out the fact you need to toggle prox chat off if switching back to a party. Then, it should work, although the prox chat itself is quite finicky.

Opinions gents..that’s what the forums are all about. Seems like OP was just looking to vent a bit, however stoking the flames has not proved any more constructive to the thread. Let’s try and keep it above the belt..

I can confirm they work. Tested it in several different locations. They require a car battery. Broadcasting something like this around hostiles: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XPY5P0TaC4k

You always have to take words at face value. Not until enough time is spent, and ones demeanor is better known can more trust be given. I had a scenario last night where my team and I were in Novo. I was up a ways ahead of my group of three, one guy we teamed up with earlier in the evening. Anyway, I shot two zombies, and barely noticed a guy with an AK standing behind the doorway of the building next to the dead zeds. I told him I was friendly, and just killing zombies. He said he was cool, and we started talking. He then dropped a can of beans and asked if I could open them. [Red flag] I stepped back and told him to drop all his gear first. He hesitated a bit, then started dropping his stuff. As he was my team pushed in, having no idea I found another person. Since backup had arrived, I told him he could grab his stuff back. He ended up being a good guy, and we teamed up after that. Moral of the story is, don’t hesitate to be overly cautious when it comes to covering yourself. If something feels off, or you’re unable to control a situation, try leaving. Most people understand that any hostility usually ends in death. So most will try to mitigate that risk by complying.

Feedback report page seems to be working fine for me. I see a number of reports from today. Maybe try refreshing your browser, and also try checking your junk folder.

Yeah, there sometimes seems to be a hiccup with the game registering animations when becoming over encumbered. Sometimes, if you prone it will fix the running while jogging animation.

All good things in time...

Uh oh... I can be rather chummy when meeting new people. I guess if we ever played together, I’d be sure to skip the pleasantries.

Unplayable frame drops in bigger cities (OneX)

I submitted a formal bug report a couple of weeks ago. I got a message back from a team member stating my report was acknowledged, and is being worked on. Fret not! This issue will be resolved! -
Good stuff! For a moment I thought you may of been one of the two guys my team helped recently. Except, we gave them some BBQ steak and some water. It’s quite nice hearing these types of stories amongst all the typical chaos you see in DayZ. The hero play style is very risky, though rewarding. As yeti mentioned, don’t forget to pass it along when you’re able to.
