I think you quoted the wrong person. Good advice for OP nonetheless. -

Fanboy pretty much covered everything very well. The only other thing I could think of to meet like minded players is to join a DayZ club on Xbox, or post in the recruitment section of the forums. I’ve met some pretty solid guys that way. You’re welcome to add me if you’d like. I enjoy running with one or two people. -
I was working my way through a mil base looting..or trying to loot as everything seemed to have been picked clean. As I was heading to the next set of barracks I planted myself near a tree. Shorty there after I hear footsteps hastily making their way towards me. This was not how I was expecting the scenario to play out: https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/nayte/video/66420707

Hehe, I could’ve gunned them both down, though I figured I’d see what their reaction would be. Plus, I tend to give others the benefit of the doubt, usually to my own demise.. His buddy didn’t hesitate to back out the second he got to the tree line. I tried talking to the other one, though they were certainly in party chat.

I’ve noticed this too after taking a break, having this issue on the x as well. It seems when first joining certain servers the frames will be great (how they used to be), then after a while they start to tank. I’m guessing it has to do with high server ping, since the servers are running a lot longer than they used to.

No, you’re not. I would like to see a page or two of painstakingly detailed patch notes.

My friend for und one in a barrack at the NWAF. I didn’t even see it after he set it from 10 meters away.
-
You had me going there.. In all seriousness, I would actually be up for something like that.

1st step is admitting you have an addiction...

Hffft hfft hfft hfft! -
Damn, after all that..

Looking good Man. That would be an interesting setup for your trade shop. Say you were able to craft a few tables, and drop various gear on top to have a merchant section of your compound.

Irony comes to mind..

That’s the mistress of RNG for you, she can be fickle at times...

Maybe it’ll be an option once private servers are implemented on Xbox. Time will tell.

I’m still convinced Sasquatch is roaming Chenarus somewhere..

The recent Xbox briefing mentions a number of actions not functioning correctly. They don’t specify this one though. You might want to try looking at the bug report section, and perhaps creating one for this issue if you don’t see it.
-
Oh, don’t get me wrong, venting every now and then is healthy. My post wasn’t aimed to you particularly, just the overall temperament of some of the threads/posts we’ve seen. It’s good to keep threads how you originally structured them, IMO. That way, later down the road you can look back and see not only how the game has progressed, but how ones own viewpoints have.
-
Let’s not forget that criticism, while certainly not always constructive, is vital to commicating issues to the team. I agree that dozens of the same type of thread clogs up the forum, though sometimes it can get the message across quicker than a mega thread, which may get buried. This is the entire point of the forums. Any conversation worth having is one where your view points are tested. Keep it classy.

Patience is a virtue lacking in the instant gratification inter web age.

It must’ve been a refreshing experience to see the torrential rain finally subside. On another note, there must be an extremely high lead content in that water, given how much it weighs one down..
-
Yup, that’s been rule #1 in PvP shooters since their inception. Never stop moving! Especially in vulnerable positions.
-
Some pc players have mentioned a build period where they experienced nothing but rainy nights. Perhaps that same build unknowingly made its way to our port? Either way, I’m sure BI will get it ironed out in a reasonable timeframe.

Hehe, at least you didn’t need to add Xxsnipex420xX.. Same goes for me, if you guys see me online. I really enjoy playing with like minded folks.
