This To answer your question, yes we now have the hold breath function. \o/
-
The devs have stated it’s something they’re looking into, though don’t expect it anytime soon.

Will a placed seachest despawn if not buried?

Do you have fava beans and a nice Chianti to serve with it? -
Oh I’ve heard their statements, and fully agree with ironing out the current issues. That said, I find it hard to believe after all these years they don’t have the staffing power to have several different teams working on different aspects of the game.
-
Yes, I 100% agree with this. Also, we really need the chat toggle function working properly. Holding down on the d-pad is way to risky when trying to establish communication with random players.

Yeah... I spent over 8 hours going from NWAF, to Troitskoe, to Tisy, then checked a couple of other dense mil sites annnd nada. Just a few USGs and SKs. It’s not just us either. Everyone I talk to in the clubs I’m in, as well as in game say the same thing. The first night after the update I found several AKs and an M4 within a couple of hours. Looks like the loot economy is already screwed up...lovely..

Yeah, I made one with boar pelt. I’ll have to try th other hides when I get a chance. Here’s to hoping the bow and arrow come SOONtm..
-
The only time I’ve seen this happen wa to a friend that was killed by zombies. Immediately after we hit the “message received” error, which backed up the server to before his death.

Very similar situation for my friends and I. We had a car full, everyone but me lagged out. I was stuck shotgun as the car decided to do some sick donuts before crashing into a pile of logs. 10/10

You could try what I occasionally do when undecided.. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.. Does the CR have a mag, or no? If there’s no scope you should let it go.. Eny, meeny, miny, moe.

I mean, sure you can sit idle if that’s your thing. There’re many different ways to navigate through the darkness, which in no where near as dark as it used to be. *Thinks about the endless rainy pitch black nights and shivers..* It’s pretty easy using the moonlight alone, paired with the white background of the compass. The glow sticks last well through the night. Torches and flares work ok. Flashlights as well as the weapon variants are killer. Nothing like walking through a dark town clearing buildings with the rifle light attachment. As far as being contrarian for the sake of it, you won’t find that from me. I speak my mind, whether it’s favorable is subjective.

Personally, I think they nailed it. Feels just right.

I went through a few nights, though didn’t actually time it. Felt like it was around 45 minutes or so.

Do ruined suppressors now sound louder?
Nayte replied to Jake Blake's topic in New Player Discussion
I noticed after a few shots with the SKS my bottle suppressor was ruined, and the audio is definitely different compared to how a ruined suppressor used to sound. In case you didn’t know, you can repair suppressors with duct tape. Always good to keep a roll or two on ya. -
Oh nice. I remember seeing something about a humanity system that was implemented on the mod. Saw there was a fancy blue flannel shirt that a hero would unlock after so long. Personally, I’d really like to see some sort of morality system in the current build. It might cut down on all the kos PUBG-esque players we seem to be infested with. I mean, I get it’s a valid play style, though it seems there’re tons of missed opportunities to have that spice up the game play.

The issue I see with that is the extra load it’ll put on the servers. Even with the 36 extra players, most would likely still be sticking to the east coast, mil sites, and other high pop areas, while leaving the western portion of the map less frequented as it is now. We’d very likely see a noticeable drop in performance were this implemented.
-
I’ve been finding 7.62x39 and 54 in random houses, of course at mil sites as well.

The kitchen knife is your best friend where infected are concerned. If you agro more than two get in a house until they lose interest. You can also crouch run right behind them and they’re none the wiser. It makes sense that Bambi’s would have extra stamina, especially after you’ve looted up a bit. That’s why it’s the risk vs reward element when approaching a freshie. I always..always tell them to keep their distance, the stun lock is brutal. If they don’t then it’s back to the coast for them, unless I can establish communication. Personally, I think the stamina is at a good place. It’s pretty much what we’ve been used to since December, and requires careful consideration about when and where to run.

What's the first thing you're doing after downloading the update?
Nayte replied to Man Parts 241's topic in New Player Discussion
Oh yes, I was enjoying it a bit more than I probably should’ve been. Can only imagine what someone would’ve thought watching me.. -

I rolled around on the ground for a while in my underpants, uh.. in-game of course. -
I’m playing on a one X and the performance seems much better. Sort of how it ran when it was first ported, which was better before some later updates. The inventory management is way snappier. The new environmental sounds are great, and really adds to the level of immersion. The control scheme is a bit awkward, though overall it ran well the few hours I put in last night.

Went to grab food and when I came back I was locked in database?
Nayte replied to Jake Blake's topic in New Player Discussion
This was a feature? months ago. Guessing it’s been implemented again to cut down on server hoppers/ghosting. Try not to change servers unless absolutely necessary. -
I agree OP, the controls are a bit awkward. I also wish we could toggle prox chat on again..
