I agree on the hoarding of guns, I would even go as far to say stashing a variable array of guns (Only one though) for different scenarios isn't a bad thing. Nobody needs 3 each of the AK and M4's. With regards to the AR's, I haven't had one on an official server for a while now (pre 1.0 I'm talking) but I have got used to using a Tundra/SKS, pistol and either a shotgun or MP5 and for me that's good enough. People will survive how they see fit so what you need to survive won't suit another person, if we all played the game the same way it would be boring as f**k!!

Isn't it the point of the game to look for loot rather than just expect it to be there? It's not cheating the game by travelling the map on the same server looting towns and mil sites and if I've made the effort to do so then I will keep what I find. Now the line is drawn with duping, meatballing and any other funky glitches that some gamers like to exploit which do ruin the game but if you play the game like an actual survivor then you will only care about yourself and nobody else 🤷‍♂️

Last time I left my character was way north past the airfield, I find the map much better up there. Zelengorsk is one of my favourite towns, once witnessed a wolf pack and zombie battle royale which was awesome to watch. I'm hopefully going to be getting back into playing this in the next few days now we've had an update 👍

So I booted up the game last night and was having a nosey around the 4 barrack buildings between Krasnotav and Svergino. Noticed all doors were open bar one so moved in slowly peering into the rooms and noticed a player crouched in the first room by the wardrobe so ran to the far end room. Fumbled for the mic and said I was friendly and the other guy said he was as well and told him I was putting my gun away. Then the game crashed 🤬🤬 Logged back in and the guy was still there, had a good chat with him for about 5 mins and he gave me some food and a flashlight for my pistol (with battery) and we went our separate ways. I already know that there are players out there who won't KOS but I was more surprised that another player at this location was equally as friendly and didn't decide to blast me with his shotgun.

TPP is a way of playing the game just like FPP is and has no bearing on playing the game "properly". Just because FPP suits you doesn't mean it suits other people.

It's a good way to be in all honesty, I will usually do the same. In this encounter the guy was hiding without a weapon in hand so took a chance which thankfully paid off but I know my luck will run out if I do it again.

You don't lose your gear, I changed mine but everything was the same gear wise.

Walking away is the worse part for me, you just anticipate a bullet/shell to the back of the head 😂

This happened just the once, a few months ago. If it carried on I would stop and use FPP.

I had this happen to me a few months ago, it was almost like a drone was looking down at my character. No idea what caused it or how it happened.

These rare occurrences do happen at the mil sites which I think is really cool but I agree that it's guns out and twitchy bum time walking into any mil zone at the moment

I was on edge the whole time but luckily nothing bad happened, I think I was one of the lucky ones lol

Normally I'd be out of there sharpish but he saw me go past the room he was in and he wasn't aiming, suppose I took that as a good sign lol.

I've done it once and instantly regretted it, I wasn't expecting them to be where they were and my reaction was to shoot.
