There's tent cities everywhere, huge bases built over night with duped equipment. assault rifles havent spawned at military bases or crash sites in over 2 months & when the community complain we get told by the Devs to go looking for dupers stashes if you want high tier weapons. Thankfully @Max Planckseems level headed enough to know that suggesting something like that only encourages & exasperates the problem. Unfortunately every server in every region has tent cities every few hundred meters on the coast & usually a giant one by solnichny factory & as time goes on this toxic exploitation just moves further inland. Great game concept that worked for awhile on Xbox but its been three months or more since it worked as advertised. The Dev team put in a lot of good work but on console especially its unplayeable for a genuine player until these exploits are fixed

I feel your pain sir, i put the game down a few weeks ago mainly through sadness rather than frustration. I'll return once the game is a hardcore survival experience again. Unfortunately im an avid watcher of youtube so cant escape the endless videos of meatballing & huge tent cities on the coast. Such a shame that a few exploits can bring a gaem so low.

Never duped, never will & i always leave the coast ASAP. Tbh i haven't played in a few weeks as the game feels pretty damn pointless for me atm, came across a tent city by berezino full of assault rifles & sea chests.Turned of the game instantly whilst choking back the vomit. I will return once measures are installed to rid the game of cheating no skill plebs, i actually look forward to getting domed by a genuinely spawned assault rifle held by a skilled looter/shooter when this fix eventually drops.

Those servers are usually just for in house use to test upcoming patches or used by Microsoft as part of the patch verification process to check stability etc before any updates are rolled out. I personally would love to see a few official Bohemia DayZ Experimental servers on Xbox just like on PC so everyone can test future potential content for updates, i think it'd really help iron out bugs with increased games testing & create more of a rapport between the community and the dev team.

I have always ruined any duped gear I come across but that in itself is almost pointless, the CLE is so broke. By this point most servers have 10x the amount of AR's duped on them so you could literally spend all week destroying them and they still wont spawn naturally. I choose the next most obvious option , stop playing the game until it works as advertised. I appreciate the hard work the devs put in but I enjoy hardcore survival games with a steep skill curve based on exploration, map knowledge & mechanics knowledge. Right now DayZ is pointless for me until there's a solid fix for these issues.

@ImpulZ Thank you for the response .Best news I've had this week, I hope the internal tests are a success & that we can get the fixes before 1.03 drops or as part of the next update whenever that may be. If it's a new variation of the log out timer in conjunction with a character database lock as tried before I hope it works as intended this time, not going to lie I'd love to see every single person, ghosting, server hopping or duplicating get there characters perma locked. Whatever the fixes are I wish the team the best of luck & again thank you for the response.

@ImpulZAny word on an upcoming fix for this issue with tents? Same can be done with the butt pack too. Or a rough time line on a duplication fix? I haven't seen an assault rifle spawn in over two months except for two LAR's a day after they dropped before the were duped out of crash sites, I appreciate the devs hard work but I paid for a hardcore survival game. DayZ certainly isn't that right now.

I've had friends experience this bug whilst playing with them, it's worse than a game freeze as your character & game freezes but the character doesn't leave the server/game till you close dayz completely & your mike stays Locked open whilst your frozen in place also lol. Would love to see the double tap to stay open return with next update as it definately helps reduce KOS as strangers can communicate whilst maintaining full control of there character with less anxiousness over holding down the d-pad whilst pushing multpile other buttons. I've reassigned right d-pad to right bumper for ease of access and it's still sucks holding it down

I find loads at devils castle & krona castle by boga south of myskino, useful tip to fully zoom out te hunting scope is to only hold LT (don't tap right thumbstick to go into Full ADS) & hold right D-pad. If you tap right thumbstick then tap right d-pad it will only zoom you back and forth between mid-full zoom levels, and running with it it even mid zoom as standard will get you killed bumping into someone at closer range, the lowest level zoom is the best zoom for close range or scanning horizons fast. Firstly Hey and thanks for clicking on the post, I'm a day one console player and have followed SA development since launch on PC. Ive found the main gripes and issues people have with console DayZ SA other than bugs and content updates are server hoppers and people ghosting into bases or ghosting combat positions mid fire fight. On PC this issue was fixed with community servers, what console would call private servers. On many of these community servers characters are locked to that specific server which completely stops anyone server hopping for loot or better positioning on an enemy combatant or base. It seems to me like a win win situation for Bohemia interactive to either allow private servers with a subset of server options for character lock, POV, Loot table timers etc or simply bring out official BI Servers with character locks enabled until a decision on private server availability for the console community is made. this post is not a criticism or a demand but a plea from a player who wants to play this unique game the way the majority of the PC Community already get to play it. take a look at the player figures for private hive servers versus vanilla BI Servers on PC, nobody wants to PVP, RP or base build on a server that someone can jump into with an hours of server hopping loot or server hop directly into your base. You have the power to eliminate this issue instantly for the player base that wants a true hardcore survival experience, I wait with baited breathe. if you agree with me please like or press the beans icon to draw attention to this post for the devs. Thankyou for your time.

Sledge hammer works as well as a pickaxe , just takes 8x large stones dragged into stone slot on fireplace to make stone ring then look at fire and hold RT to turn into stone oven. I like making a ring if them & lighting then at night to freak people out lol. Tip is that the ovens ovening that casts light will be the opposite side to where your character faces when you place the fire down before adding large stones.

Auto walk will be added in future but the devs are dead set against auto run. Hasn't been added in of yet but should come eventually.

I agree with a short delay also but tbh I'd prefer to see experimental servers on console too, as often there's console specific bugs created with each update. So rather than be stuck with a buggy main update dropping on all xbox servers we can test updates more thoroughly & bug report before there pushed out in full. I have a feeling that we would be getting 1.03 now or earlier if it weren't for the bug ridden drop on PC stable branch, maybe they've delayed it so it drops more in line with hen 1.04 drops with hopefully some exploit fixes as the community has voiced so much disdain for the current state of exploits basically rendering the core game experience void, expect ally on console as there no private/modded server options. I personally don't think a week of testing on PC EXP branch is enough before it gets pushed to PC stable branch anyway as so many bugs are left untouched & it's just slapped into vanilla servers willy nilly. Tbf to Bohemia a lot f content is being added I each recent patch but taking abit more time to finesse things wouldn't go amiss before patches go live & without any console EXP servers were still games testing even though the games full release now.

Yep same for me & a series of stutters/total frame drop for 10secs whenever weather or night/day changes occur. Extremely frustrating to say the least. I'm getting desynchronised out more too.

I appreciate the feedback, hopefully some fixes drop in the near future. Unfortunately a great game being hampered a bit by people exploiting. Keep up the hard work , does the xbox team that port PC stable & EXP updates out to us working on xbox specific xploit fixes? Out of curiosity. -
Those are only potential heli crash sights, they could spawn at any of those map markers & could despawn a few minutes before you get there if your unlucky. Best way to find them is travel using routes that go by as many potential crash sites as much as possible and travel far a lot. I never stop moving and find 2-3 a day sometimes but ATM it's pointless as it's only military clothing spawning due to duplication. I haven't found a assault rifle of VSD in the last 10-15 sites. Just sks and 45 cal pistols and most had no weapon at all.

Most likely, not seen many survivors growing food tbh. Did find four guys growing sea chests full of zucchini though, watched them for about forty minutes through my Atog scope as they were appearing & dissapearing from the server until there was about 15 sea chests. They all had VSD's on there backs too weirdly as I've not seen one spawn in many months. Would have taken the shot but figured why waste bullets when they'll most likely just grow more VSD's. Did grab a few zucchini from a seachest after they left though. Nice to fill my characters belly before I uninstalled the broken ass game.

Also water after planting. If you water before planting the seed it will freeze or crash your game currently

Sounds fun, I never KOS though no matter what server ( unless the other player has a gun in there hand) or I'm communicating in game & get no response (no mic = no life) so I abide by the unspoken laws of dayz, hell I've even had a chats with big geared groups at the NWAF before & enjoy gifting items and weapons onto new players or decent people I meet in land. Some of the best play sessions I've had have been role playing with total bambis & running in land getting them geared. It's a rarity to find a new player with a mic & who's friendly but when I find them it's gold. Good luck getting some RP going & dont dupe everyone it's gross & selfish as it ruins CLE for others.

It pains me to agree, I love the game & know the devs are working hard to fix exploits but there comes a point where it feels almost pointless playing the game. A week after every update or wipe the servers start stuttering really bad as there filling with stashes & gigantic bases faster than intended due to duping & all high level loot starts to stop spawning too. The excitement for me has always been getting geared through crossing the map & grinding for gear. Now that's become pointless & I can just get a shotgun at the coast kill a duper & be geared with an LAR & VSD in thirty minutes, the game feels hollow as that's literally the only way to get those items now. I just don't like being in a game with cheaters, it makes me feel gross tbh. And yes I've died way more times to lag & total frame drops an been beaten to death by zombies whilst totally unable to even see anything never mind move than killed by other players. The bad feels are real

Bohemia have only ever said it's something they would like to do in the future but also always state that they would have to either build an intergrated server control Into the game for server settings or a separate programme online to control hired servers, as well as deciding what options to give people hiring servers ie day/night cycle, CLE settings, spawns for items & players, admin controls etc. And also have to find a good third party server provider who specialises in good 1 to 1 server access & control at a decent enough price. They so far haven't made it sound like an of these things are currently In the works but they've got much better this year at not mentioning WIP until there almost ready to drop so it's hard to tell if it's being worked on or not tbh.

We need inner/outer dead zone sliders. Freelook sensitivity , TPP sensitivity, FPP sensitivity and sensitivity settings for all scopes magnifications too. Plus being able to control the ramp up speeds for both sticks. vigor which is made by Bohemia & will be free to play when it goes live also for xbox has so many controller settings & unfortunately all we get on dayz is vert/horizontal sensitivity. Feels bad man

Unfortunately the only response about this subject from ImpulZ was yesterday in the server removal thread, he stated that a fix for this issue won't drop for quite some time (heard that sentence for a few months already). Expect 1.03 patch to be hell at night time as all the little duper squads will have NVG's duped from day one so they stop spawning & they can camp all night killing freshies. DayZ has officially become DupZ

I appreciate all the hard work the team is doing in regards to fixing exploits but I believe it benefit the game & the player base if this background work on exploit fixes was discussed more frequently with the console community to increase faith/hope amongst players. Also some official statement on all social media platforms stating that this behaviour is viewed as cheating/exploitative may stop a few players doing it, I'm aware that the dev team do view it as such but many new players don't. The logic that pushing casual players, survivalists, etc onto higher higher pop servers to apply pressure onto people duping or making duping bases more easily found is flawed. Sending a load of SG5k players to fight metal fortresses filled with LAR toting Dupers doesn't sound like a fair or fun gameplay experience & is likely to just push more players away. And arguable having character locked servers with loot that actually spawns, a server that runs effeciently but may get shutdown causing players to lose loot & character is still better than people not finding high level loot due to duping & having bad server stability across the board.
