The fire wont damage your tent as far as I'm aware. Only items placed within the fire should get damaged & for the love of god dont stand on it lol

I had this issue. I've found in 1.10 that if you place the separate components of the fire into the house fireplace or stove that t works fine. If you pre build the fire and attach the whole thing it goes out.

Anyone actually found an MS3 battery on Official Servers yet since 1.10 dropped? I'm on Xbox & I'm pretty certain that there not spawning, been looking for 30hr+ so either I'm very unlucky or the CLE is doing a number on me

Happens to me constantly with all servers in all regions, I had to restarts the games 5 times once to get it to let me into a server without freezing up. Sometimes it doesnt freeze but just wont allow me into my regular server, so I have to pick another server, cancel before the increased timer counts down then itll allow me to join the original server. mind bending, I used to report all bugs found but it was turning into a fulltime job lol

Try Izurvive.com or the Izurvive app on phone or tablet, its totally free & has very detailed maps of Chernarus & Livonia. You can also make a profile free of charge & mark where you have put stashes. Coordinates are also shown on the App so you can find where you are on the map & voila. Hope this helps

Id recommend putting a bug report ticket in, you can find the link on the main page of the forum. Just make sure to let them now your gamertag and server. they may be able to release your character from purgatory lol

There are no mods on Console like the Weapons+ mods that exist on PC DayZ, only modded server files that add in weapons that are in the game files & add extra buildings that are also in the game files. No new items or mechanics can be added to console Dayz unfortunately. So you wont find any servers that contain anything other than a handful of melee weapons & items that are in the game files but not added back into the main game yet . Its not a bug with DayZ its an issue with how partys work on Xbox, DayZ will not be given access to the party system, microsoft doesn't roll that way unfortunately. The majority of players are usually in a party therefore cant use VOIP as the party system yoink all your mic comms & doesn't like to share lol

Yet another console gamer makings us all look bonkers, plus if he has an issue with the CLE & hoarding then hes gonna be raging with 1.09 lol. yeah special weapons will continue to spawn on Heli Crash sites even if there being hoarded in storage on a server but I don't think this applies to top tier weapons at mil bases. Sure we will see him back here losing his sh*t pretty soon 😂

Great Hotfix, especially the removal of the sun shaft (Sorry whoever worked on that at BI), hopefully it can be nerfed & added back in. Also the fixing of the Micro freezes is great. Any chance the team could look at overall FPS, especially during times of Wind? I'm on the original Xbox One & TBH It makes me feel nauseous to play when the frames drop so low, the head bob looks like its slow motion sometimes.Thanks

Id recommend building now 1.08 is out. If you double gate a small garage or building thats a minimum of 600+ AR bullets of like 10 grenades. way more fun, rewarding & exciting to build rather than dump a crate in a river & forget it.

I personally haven't had much De-Sync since the release of 1.08.........But i'm primarily a Solo player so tbh without another player to tell me if what I see in my hands is what I think it is lol. So i cant for sure give feedback on that. I do know that player bubbles seem to massively effect it, the more players close together the worse the De-Sync. I absolutely love the base building changes, bases are actually viable now! But by far the worst edition is the poor FPS since 1.08, i'm on an Xbox One & i've actually had to step away from the game on occasion as the extreme head bob plus 20fps equals chunder time.

The arrival of Xbox Experimental servers in the for off an Exp App for console is an awesome & welcome addition. I have been playing it loads & I hope with maybe an addition in the bug reporting section specifically for for the Exp console branch that this will drastically reduce the amount of bugs that come across from Exp to stable then to console. More bug reports equals better info for the Devs, which is great. Found a fairly big bug with Cooking Pots, if you log out & back in again. It deletes the storage contents of the pot, not sure if it does it with any other containers such as dry bags, plastic containers, etc. So good work to @Sumrak & the team.

I think they've reduced nails spawn with 1.08, I cant confirm but feels like there rarer especially up north, makes sense as they want to discourage people stashing in crates & they've increase nail cost for those too.

The game is very tough for new players, the best tips I can offer is use Izurvive to find potential animal spawns near the coast, always listen out for chickens as theyll sustain you until you find something more substantial. Also the biggest tip is learn the trails (Trails are shown on the Trail map on Izurvive) trails & train tracks spawn small stones, collect two, hold one in your hand & look at the other on the floor & it'll let you craft a stone knife. This will save your life as quite often the game will give you an animal before you find a knife. The spawn drops for food on dead Zombies & in natural spawn points has been reduced a lot since release, just keep in mind its a hardcore survival game. the environment should be as deadly as other survivors. Keep plugging away & trust me eventually you'll be a DayZ pro & you'll forget how hard it was & wish it was harder.

Unfortunately this update really tanked FPS in large cities or when certain weather effects are in action like the wind or you enter another players network bubble, etc. TBH you were probably lucky to get a solid 30-40 on Xbox One X before the update. Just hang in there dude, im sure an upcoming hotfix will sort it. Welcome to the DayZ community.

West sides best for Heli crashes. I found 2 today & got 2 VSS's. Not a great gun but shreds armour as an up close destroyer. Unfortunately M4's & AKM's wont spawn on most servers at military bases as 2 many are stashed on the server. Wait a week or two for all those stashed crates to de-spawn from all the people stashing unnecessarily then never playing the game again. 1.08 changed there de-spawn timer thank god & upped there nail cost.

did you forget to wash your hands after cutting up the animal? If so that will give you food poisoning, charcoal tabs should sort it if so. only thing I can think of, ive used the pan & it didnt make me sick. hope this helps

just keep in mind that Crates despawn without interaction much faster now, 2 weeks I think & they take more nails to build. Id recommend building bases now for stashing loot as going through a few walls will take like 600 AR rounds. So a decent base in a building with multiple gates will basically put off all raiders.

Love the game & the additions to base building in 1.08. But unfortunately the Frame rate has taken a giant hit, if its windy in game i'm getting 20fps or lower. Its actually giving me motion sickness to play, the extreme head bop mixed with low fps is super close to making me hurl. Also had a lot of issues with building, not being able to complete walls, would be useful if it simple wont let you place a fence kit where you cant completely finish a wall. Quite often there is nothing blocking building it simply wont give the option. Loving the communication from Bohemia & the Dev team, Sumrak is doing great job as project lead. Baty was a beast at comms but the reduced team now are on it. So even though its a bit buggy, I understand that most of this update was done from home during Lockdown. So GG, hopefully the frames can get some TLC though soon as Im sitting with a bucket next to my sofa just to play lol.

I like the sound of the server & will definitely give it a look, some great server changes listed here. I'm assuming there's methods to report rule breaking in respects to base raiding, KOS at green mountain & other rule breaking on the discord? Also is streaming from said server acceptable? Will White listing be considered to vet potential players in the future to further help protect the server community? Thank you in regards to any response.

its not in the console or PC version, there both exactly the same feature vise. You may have seen it implemented on a modded PC server, but its not been reintroduced from the 0.63 version since the new engines launch. hope this helps, I think at one point you could create leather using the barrels lime and animal pelts but the option for crafting leather clothing & items was not available.

Servers are crashing every 10 mins, literally unplayable. I appreciate the teams hard work & quick communication with the player base but this is pretty bad. How does this get past QA?
