Yep if I see a player alone and with a holstered weapon, especially if there dressed in civilian clothing I always try and initiate comms . If someone's tooled up in military gear and rolling with an AR & silencer in hand I'll usually avoid them or watch for abit and see if they have friends or are hunting players , on those occasions I'll kill them. But rarely and only if I see them taking shots at a player unprovoked . But strictly KOS players confuse me tbh, especially death squads killing fresh spawns. I don't see the sport in it .

Just not implemented yet. There's a NATO suppressor in game too but that's not implemented either. Hell 90% of the games not implemented

Yep long range headshot, with games with bullet velocity and not hit scan you'd die before you hear the shot. Bullets reaching you before the sound does. Feels bad man, I've died a few times this way with a friend who heard the shot after I'd left this earthly realm lol.

Nope no handcuffs, none in PC build unless they added them on the Halloween servers on PC stress test. But difinately not on xbox for me

It's not been announced yet but I'm sure it's being worked on, can be very frustrating especially using under powered weapons as every shit counts so a player with and m4 of AKM can beat you with brute dps even if you land headshots be sue study don't register a lot of the time. Hell I've even hit stationary people on the head twice with an AKM a& not had any hit reg at all. Hopefully it get me tightened up soon, I do know that in the stress test build on PC that went live today they've fixed a lot of the issues with guns becoming misaligned, where you go prone and it pushs your ads out of whack with the character stance causing you to look down at you feet in full ads to try and manually realign. So that should be almost fixed . Something atleast .

The games been game preview on PC for 6 years , if you weren't so busy being a corporate shill and actually read every status report, especially the last one and it's responses you'd see that the community is being dumped on. Not suggesting it's the devs but the money men who manage them. But yeah it's triggering being spoken to disrespectfully isn't it, it gets the blood pressure rising. Treat others as you'd like to be treated, other people opinions are as valuable as yours whether you think so or not. Were consumers with varying needs not just carbon copies of you. arying

Were getting 1shotgun, basic base building and two ground vehicles in full release in q1 or q2 2019. Games going into 1.0 release on PC so will officially be beta and out of early access on steam. All the other promised features for 1.0 like vaulting and climbing, 20+ weapons and attachments, loads of items, limb fractures, helicopter, fishing etc etc will be coming after what we on console would call a 'full release' now :( . PC people are quite p*ssed off, can't say I blame them. So I guess it's gonna be a considerable length of time till we see a big content update.

I feel ya dude. I enjoy the night time and rainy thing BUT it has definitely negatively impacted the player base, I'm an EU player and even on weekends there only two full servers at any one time and the rest range from 10-1 players. Combine those figures with the recent release of black ops and red dead 2 and it's dropped even lower. I always knew it'd be a niche game but I never expected it to be the same 120 people playing in European high pop servers within a few months. It's a big shame when a game like DayZ is reliant on a healthy player base, many people who are happy playing the run around the coast having a chat style gameplay or the people who love to go for high end weapons and PvP or RP a hero are blindly fanboying ATM which is commendable but also shortsighted, there assumption that this game is comparable to the mod and that it's core gameplay elements are okay as they are without any need for more mechanics or content before 1.0 other than the basic base building and two ground vehicles is flawed. There's a reason that 9 out of 10 people who have bought the game on console and PC no longer play is because it isn't fulfilling to play for them, not enough depth or nuance. And when the games press see 1.0 release and the game goin for full price at Xmas for PC it'll get decimated. I love the original mod and can see the potential for this game , but if the people who are continuing to play it (the minority of people who actually bought it) keep settlin for it as is, the game will not grow. Therefore it won't get the support and development it deserves. I'm not just some hater, I've played and watched content of this game and it's many mods for years. SA maybe the most stable version so far but it's also the dullest

Wow so your opinion is fact is it? Atleast I stated my opinion as opinion friendo, nowhere did I state I KOS, the majority of players don't even use a mic anymore so interacting and building trust is damn near impossible. I'm glad you enjoy walking around the coast making friends, that's a valued part of the DayZ experience but I could do that on Roblox for godsake. My point is that DayZ used to be about variation in play style and experience, the PC guys are gonna be that from modding with Specialist servers for RP or PVP and everything Inbetween but the poor console guys aren't gonna be so lucky. But yeah dude just call everyone who doesn't have your exact playstyle a simpleton, jeez so much animosity in this forum as soon as anyone feels there opinions under attack. -

I doubt they'll be producing physical copies, even triple A titles have drastically cut back on that, why bother when you can sell a 1.0 release for more than 50dollars on steam & Microsoft network with no physical production or shipping costs. Gotta love how those savings for studios never made it to the consumer lol. -

Experienced players can get end game loot in an hour or less then it becomes COD deathmatch but with a 100square mile map. If your relying on player interactions to make a game enjoyable then you're game is lacking content. The end game ATM is too easy and basic base building and ground vehicles are basically tools to allow experienced player too harvest and keep end game weapons faster and easier, which in turn will increase there ability to deathmatch. Don't get me wrong I love PvP in dayz and also love player interaction but once you've killed 100+ players with every gun and combination of clothing and items etc , there's just not enough things to do, no depth or nuance. Just my two cents, many enjoy the rinse and repeat nature of the current build but once you know the map Inside and out it feels lack lustre to me. I prefered playing a less optimised version with a lot more items, vehicles, heli etc, it was the vast amount of variables, items and weapons etc that I loved the mod for, I couldn't have cared less about it's jankyness -

Love your reasoning or lack of it. A products values is based on it's users need and perception, if a users perception of a products ability to fulfil it's desired function is lower than it's value of necessity then said product falls into obscurity. It's simple supply and demand consolidated with good business practise and sound product development. None of which has been applied to SA DayZ. and bro I'm drunk and give zero F*cks about DayZ but you have personally made my night, I used to sit in meetings all day with studio execs discussing how to hype games pre sale with total disregard for product viability or functionality so please keep having blind faith and keep those dollars rolling in, my replacements will be happy atleast, just a shame the majority of consumers wont be :D

You couldn't sound more like a dev or BI employee pretending to be a normal poster if you tried lmao, your even surfing the console section at a low poster level when you obviously have PC Knowledge. If I hear fire features used as an excuse I more time lol, a game is a game , if the 1.0 doesn't have everything the mod has it doesn't deserve to be a 1.0 . Plus on console 1.0 means full release to most people, the average consumer is far younger on console and abusing people perceptions by using the terminology 1.0 is pretty gross. But hey go look at the steam rating and player figures , I think you'll find most consumers agree with me by a long long ways.

Only time will tell buddy, let's see if hit reg, dwarfing glitch etc are fixed by 1.0 release. and guess what ps4 release is slated q2 2019 so yeah PC release is slated for around Xmas 2017 so dunno why you'd call me a liar. I'm not a BI dev whose promised numerous content/update releases that never materialised am I? For over five years. plus more people play Arma 2/3 dayz mods than SA version so pretty much everything you've said is moronic BS
