My assumption is that BI updated the map to remove some coastal interactable water sources. Maybe to encourage travelling inland sooner or to try and improve frame rates and rendering times. Plus they've implemented antibiotics now so maybe they want to encourage the use of sorry water sources to make people use medical supplies more. It also wouldn't surprise me if they added extra water sources at release to make the game easier for new players for a short grace period but have decided to crank up the difficulty

Yes this is a known bug from the latest update, there are several issues causing crashes at the moment. If your inventory is very full it may crash whilst tying to render all the items in. The games struggling with rendering and fps at the moment. A stability patch will most likely arrive sometime this week

Doesn't work, tried that as well as every other combination of button pushes. It doesn't start the Unjamming animation as it does on PC

Games bugged after last update, a patch will arrive next week at some point at a guess

Oh as Incase you don't know you can change the region in the server menu. So change to Europe and change to slot ascending, it'll be one of the top ones

Servers are bugged currently and will be sorted on when the dev team gets back from the weekend. They actually changed the weather so that it'd change more frequently but something went haywire and most servers ended up permanent night with torrential rain. Try NL server ending with 933. It'll be full but trust me its worth queuing as there's daylight and no rain. Hope this helps

Very useful but you better build fast as I got a few walls up with two tents inside, a barrel full of nails and all the tools needed etc, a generator with a construction light. Then the server de-synced or reset and when I logged back in it was all gone. Lol I spent all day building it all and carrying it all. But I knew that it was prone to happening as the community manager did warm us with the update that persistency is buggy and that things have a habit of simply despawning even without a server reset. Was super fun though getting used to building for when it's all stable and working

I couldn't work out which one was best tbh, they both weighted the same so I went with the folding stock for the look really. Found one burlap sack but then my game crashed and I can't get back to my home server as the queues huge and it keeps crashing me out as son as I load back in so I guess that's my base done for lol. I'll be traipsing around a dark rainy server looking for another sack for my ghillie wrap.

It's sure looks like one, I haven't found one yet but have found a folding stock for the AK & a polymer stock too. I like the fact that attachments seem to spawn quite rarely though, I had to travel pretty much across the entire map the find a visor for the assault helmet that I luckily found just after the update at Staroye tents.

I've had an issue today three times now where DayZ crashes back to the dashboard, it'll load up again into games main menu but if I pick a server it'll crash the game again before loading me Into said server. I've tested it and it does it continuously across all servers until I hard reset my xbox and launch the game again afterwards. Then it'll load me in fine. has anyone else had this occur?

Beat me to it, just need a burlap sack and I'm good to go. I'm assuming the ghillie suits craftable too but it used to need 4 netting and a tonne of sacks to craft. Doubt I'll find that before the next wipe

Yes they will be wiped, plus ATM walls and base components have very low Health values so can be broken into easily. Plus tents and walls etc are prone to despawning at will as there not polished yet. The devs have posted about this on the latest update thread as it's to be expected during the testing phase. Just remember were games testing right now, not playing for keeps

Yep I love the improvised backpack, especially the boar skin one. I still feel guilty for dropping one earlier for a matt green assault lack but needed the extra loot carrying capacity lol

No way to unjam ATM, button seems unbound. Trust me I spent a good few hours trying everything possible. If you find a gun in a worse condition than worn I'd advise not using it until you've weapon repaired it. On PC You go through an Unjamming animation by holding R but no prompt of assigned key on console me thinks. Implementing jamming without a way to fix it lol makes perfect sense right?! Lmao

Met an American guy on his way out of Severograd heading West, he called out to me even though I'm super geared with AK and assault helmet/visor and full mil clothing. He's got balls of steel & got lucky this day because I don't KOS unless you look bandity as f*ck. My game crashed whilst talking to him so I was stood in the street defenceless for atleast 15 seconds , I load the game back up fully expecting to load back into the server as a fresh spawn. But lo & behold I'm alive, he didn't brain me whilst I was a motionless defenceless military lootpile . For his honourable behaviour I gifted him my assault helmet & a pistol chest holster, I never got his name because his comms had bugged out for me on my crash and reload unfortunately. So just remember survivors, plug in that mike and take a risk on communicating from a position of safety and maybe good things will happen.

Nice , I'm looking similar just swap out the ballistic vest for a pistol holster and pop a gorhka assault helmet with visor on and were brothers lol. Us I favour the assault pack, I like to be low profile ;)

Which rifle are you using? I'm not having that issue with my AK , pressing X on my rifle inventory always send it to my back. But I always keep my primary weapon (rifle) in my first quick wheel slot so I can tap Y and have it in my and immediately, then I use the quick wheel again to put it away & it always goes onto my back again. Maybe certain rifles aren't performing correctly in this respect.

Yep dude, it's a steep learning curve littered withe the bodies of dead survivors lol. Always post up and watch military zones for atleast ages minutes before entering and also check all other vantage points over looking military zones too for snipers and ambushes. Many an unarmed coastal survivor has wandered into Staroye mil zone and been drilled with hot lead. But the upside is there's a lot of us geared survivors who like to sit in the hills by military spots and provide overwatch for unwitting players in the hope we can dome a bandit or too. Not everyone's kill crazy all the time ;)

I've just found 1 netting so if I can find a burlap sack I'll see if I can craft a ghillie wrap for my AK , no way am I gonna find four lots of netting and a load of sacks before Monday-Tuesday when I'm sure a stability update will be released and everything will be wiped. But if it'll allow me I craft a ghillie wrap my assumption would be the suits craftable too, we shall see .

If you have food poisoning from eating uncooked meat or drinking dirty water you'll become dehydrated faster, but my assumption is that the cold in combination with being soaked increases your weight and reduces stamina so probably increase calorie I take too. But not sure on that front, tbh I've not noticed increased food or water I take but I eat everything in sight and drink till my stomachs full whenever possible then I don't need to eat for or drink for an hour atleast

Weird they usually only spawned on boats at coast before in 0.62 . I'm by NWAF now so I'll go check it out and see if I can find one for science. Wish me luck

Oh and car garages are the best place to find burlap sacks, they actually seem to spawn slightly more than pre update for me but it's all RNG so hard to tell, but I'd advise hitting up industrial areas with lots of garages.

Holy sh*t, the gods of dayz shine upon you! Well maybe it's been sneakily implemented? Burlap sacks are 100% ingame right now too, I'm wearing a boar skin improvised bag so I can confirm that atleast. Takes quite a few sacks to get the required strips of burlap tho, where did you find the fishing netting? Would be helpful to know where to start searching so I can help answer this mystery.
