Unfortunately I was so busy crying with laughter I totally forgot to capture it, I recorded us driving along the coast and picking a random up though. Gamer tags the yeti bum. You can have a look at my captures on my profile if your interested. Shame our launch to space isn't up tho , I'll fix another car up soon and replicate it for science. Lol

Barrels and tents on xbox will despawn after a reset , sometimes even before that, I've tested it a few times. But the car I fixed up yesterday stayed where I found it through a full server reset, even after entering the vehicle and leaving it's vicinity and coming back it was still there, kinda undriveable in it's currents state though, it's slides everywhere like it's on ice , gears aren't what they show up as most of the time & unless you rev it to the max in neutral and switch to reverse it ain't going backwards at all lol. Oh and the over steer is pretty intense, my advice would be to go very very slow and steer as little as possible .Hope that helps

So I eventually found an in-game tourist map but when I open it I can't scroll across map, zoom on or out etc. Is it currently bugged and not fully operational?

Yep boats, also any coastal port that has lots of shipping containers. I find loads of them for ghillie wraps in the containers , occasionally I find them in those little workshop industrial building with the workbench with a grinding wheel , vice and shelves in. But my main source is the shipping huge amount of shipping containers just south east of cherno before you enter the city. Handful of the green military containers too so can get decent stuff straight from spawn

They just did a fix server side I'm assuming, car spawns and heli spawns and constant night and rain were bugged on there end not from the downloadable update. I've been carrying a shotgun for an hour now and not crashed but admittedly I've not fired it yet so here's to hoping in genuinely functional now. Fingers crossed

Add The Yeti Bum on xbox and you'll see in my clips there's a few if us driving about in the car if the interested in seeing it actually drive :D

Myself and BearJew started a taxi service earlier, drive all the way from Krasnoe to solnichniy & back..........almost. Our two passengers and ourselves met an unusual fate after gently tapping a police car spawn at about 15mph and we were launched a couple hundred feet into the air, needless to say it didn't end well for anyone involved. Especially the car lol. Was super fun tho, but the steering sensitivity is of the scale and it's super floaty, if you go over 20mph it's completely all over the place. Was great flying past fresh spawns though as they looked on in awe :'~D

Was absolutely hilarious , we ended up as the Chenaurus Taxi Service with a few random friendly survivors jumping in the back. Was all fun & games until we transformed into the DayZ space programme and blasted out of the atmoshere, crashed not only back to earth from a few hundred feet up easily but actually went through the floor into the nether realm lmao. When you find a car i'd advise going slow & pick a front seat (that way you can leap out when the sh*t hits the fan ;)

Good luck fixing it up , it took me forever but was super fun. Drives like absolute garbage and the gears are all kind of messed up but it was worth it driving down bye coast and picked up a few random guys and went for a drive. Not a single player shot at us mainly through shock at seeing a car fly past wobbling all over lol

Tell me about it, the infected are just running through walls at me now, this is why I've avoided any large town since the update. Doors and walls mean nothing to infected path finding, plus they render in at random & usually two feet from my face . I've gone through a dozen duct tapes, sewing kits and leather repair kits in one night trying to get parts rather than sit on my ass in a house in the dark lol . Only one tire away from a functioning ride!! I just know I'm gonna crash it within five minutes but it's totally worth it lmao

Trust me it's too exciting! It's pitch black , raining, this god awful town has a million god damn infected in it who aggro even whilst your bloody crouch walking a mile away from them. Literally just got swarmed by ten infected , with no sound cue obviously thanks to the sound bug lol. First time in a Long time I nearly got beaten to death by AI , it's so dark I'm all turned around with a battery in my hands and a full inventory of car parts lmao. Whoever thought 50/50 day/nights was a good idea needs a stern talking too lol. If the still there man who found the first car, it was me firing suppressed shots , I had an infected problem that needed solving fast

Okay dude, if you see a guy with a torch it's me, if I can find your car I can. Salvage a tire and a battery and this car will be good to go, maybe need some fuel but that's it.

The car just need one tire, it has a radiator but needs a battery and spark plug. Is there more than one here? My game crashes stood next to it so I'm rejoining lol

I'm right next to the car now dude, not sure where the radio tower is so I'll wait here for you. I'm geared up hard with military loot but I wont shoot you , I can't believe my eyes that the car actually exists lol

Awesome I'm on my way , haven't found a wheel so prob gonna have to make multiple trips but the cars yours . I just wanna see it with my own eyes. I'm friendly and have the radiator , oil & spark plug but the rains making me very slow . Where abouts are you or where should I meet you? Small shop, police station?

Holy sh*t I think your the only person to actually find one, I'm up at severograd. I'd gladly come lend a hand fixing it up and finding/carrying parts if you want assistance?

I've had a similar issue, couldn't get it lit. After the update fireplaces no longer relight after burning out I've been placing more fuel in them then using the blow on fire prompt with RT but the ashes don't reignite. So having to re-craft a fire from scratch. Im pretty sure the blow on fire function worked prepatch.
