I think there is something that is similiar on the Playstation versions of the game where you can see the player's names under their characters, not like a kill feed but at least it is the closest we get. I don't like hence why i think the Xbox and PC versions are better, but that is a matter of opinion.

I recently switched from the original Xbox One to the Xbox Series S and i started to play DayZ again, the difference in performance is astonishing, i mean, pretty much locked 60 fps all the time with no freezing, even combat feels smooth, and the loading times are incredible fast. I'm actually happy to be back into the game and i hope i return to be an more active member again. The 1.14 update looks incredible.

So, if i play on persistence off servers there will be more loot ? Really ?

Hey guys, quick question regarding the tourist map. I can open and close the map but it doesn't seens like you can actually scroll through it ? Is this a bug or there is some workaround to use it ? Appreciate the help.

So, i'm kind in the doubt between buying the Livonia map or buying cod points for the season 1 Modern Warfare battlepass (can only buy one). I would like to know what do you guys think about the map, how is it compared to Chernarus and also how is the game after 1.06, if it is still very glitchy or this update actually made the game better.

Is this problem with zombies and loot not spawning still a thing ? I read on Twitter that the devs restarted the persistence on servers yesterday to combat this, did it worked ?

I don't know about any wipe but in a facebook group i am people are reporting that they are spawning in different characters. Like if they switched characters with other players. Some people are spawning in fully kitted characters with M4s and AKs, somehow they are playing with a character of another player and i have no idea of what is happening.

I heard this mode was discontinued and Bohemia is not following forward with it ? Is it true ?

If i'm not mistaken. To wash your hands you have to have your hands with blood first. Before the update i remembered that if you press up or down on the D-Pad then you could choose the options between drinking or washing. Now that drinking requires you to keep the button pressed i believe the wash hands option now appears under it with a single button press.

Sorry, i should have specified that the ''zombies'' i meant were the infected of DayZ. The Walking Dead are indeed zombies.

Do you play on PS4 ? Because those performance issues were fixed on Xbox in the previous update. Performance is still the same in this one.

Take the lore in consideration; ''Zombies'' are living human beings, disease in the brain, like rabies. You are immune to the virus and the virus can only make living humans into infected. This idea is very unlikely because of lore.

It's been a good awhile since i played DayZ. Honestly i even forgot some buttons. Glad this update is coming, want to play it again.

Can we expect this update to reach consoles this month ? Been pretty busy with Wreckfest, i even forgot about DayZ during those days.

So, tomorrow, on the 29th, DayZ on Xbox One will make exactly one year. I remember that i bought this game on launch at preview back on August last year. Being playing the game ever since and i never got bored of it. Of course i got frustrated a lot of times, especially because of the duping situation that plagued for so many months. But i didn't stopped playing it, this game is one of the best survival games on console right now. Congratulations on the first year anniversary, hopefully the game gets better and better as time goes on.

Suffered this only once with a AK-101 magazine, but i didn't had the gun so it wasn't a huge loss.

Take this information with a bit of salt, but if they didn't mentioned on the notes this vehicle might be a accidental addition that wasn't meant to be added in this update, someone said that the car doen't work and it's missing textures (on the first reddit post). But it also could be that they might work on this car during the patch progression to stable and when it hits stable the car will be fully functional.

There's a military base in the coast (don't remember the name, but there are 2 huge buldings behind the trees, apartment complex, so i guess you guys might know what mil base i'm talking by this) and this particualr place, went there, i literally a graveyard of SG5-Ks and FX-45s, those are the only guns that i find there and they spawn a lot. I feel like it's the duping days again.

Funny thing: the NVG is not broken, it just that it doesn't has a assigned button to turn on or off. You think that in 3-4 months of delay they would have already figured but it wasn't the case.

Compared to previous patches this is a rather small one (content-wise) but it's good anyway.

Some questions were aswered on the stream that they made on Twitch. The 1.06 update (which is far away from us yet) might bring finally character customization to consoles, this wasn't confirmed however. Just want to let everyone who's not watched the stream know it, this. They will also add three new guns on 1.05, those being the AK-74u carbine (military most likely), the Glock 19 (which is a police pistol, probably police spawns only) and the Amphibia Pistol (I believe it's civilian). Others small stuff: - No plans for Cross play (At the moment). - No plans for mod support (At moment). - Mouse and keyboard will take a while, might come only next year.
