I hope they wipe the servers and also brings the much needed fixes that the game needs. Next month is the one year anniversary of the Xbox One version by the way.

Don't worry, this is a game issue, the FPS and rendering is f#cked since a good while, this is a issue on every Xbox model, be the original or the X. Those recent test servers are actually testing this, hardware performance and such, let's just hope this upcoming update (1.03/1.04 together) bring some critical improvements on performance, this game really needs it.

They gonna merge 1.03 and 1.04 into a single update. I can't wait to see the patch notes, gonna take a while to read everything, it's probably gonna to be massive lol.

They did some test servers on Xbox with up to 150 though lol (or it was less ? At least i remember a test server with 75 players)

Isn't a full wipe of all servers possible ? That would stabilize again the loot economy isn't ? And since we basically only a few weeks from the update, we could play normally again until the update arrives.

Update is coming this month so we can expect it between 4 weeks from now. Hopefully won't take long.

This actually makes me happy because if it turns out to be so good on Xbox One has it is on PC, i might be hyped to play the game again.

Xbox One will not receive the 1.03 update, they are skipping it.

I want to lick batteries like in pre 0.63 so i can check my battery life.

I was shocked when i saw that the ID of the player appears when you aim at someone or the person speaks in a mic, this goes againts what DayZ is, honestly i don't think the PS4 version is worth with such thing.

Well, several games already do that, Fortnite, Dauntless, Rocket League, even the next Call of Duty. I don't see why not.

I know this is a strange question, but do you guys think the PS4 playerbase will surpass the Xbox ?

They launched the PS4 version way too early, why launch in such state when they could delay and fix the Xbox version before, now they have to literally worry about two broken versions.

Just a heads up. It was indeed confirmed by the developers on twitter that 1.03 and 1.04 will be combined together into a single major update for Xbox One (and also PS4), no date yet however.

If that's the case, then the next update will be a HUGE (and i really mean it) one, if they plan to merge the 1.03 and 1.04 as a single update, then it might be worth the wait. By the way, now with the PS4 version released, they plan to update all three version at the same time right ?

What are you plans now ? Are you going to buy the PS4 version and ditch the X one ? I hope to see you in the Xbox forums still lol.

If i'm not mistaken, the PS4 version was actually announced first back in 2014 (before the Xbox One version), the game was always intended to launch on PS4 since the beginning. Since the Xbox One however had a Game Preview program though, they launched first there so they could ''test'' the console version properly with actual players. If it wasn't for the Game Preview, we most likely would have a simultaneous launch on both Xbox One and PS4 at the same time.

Xbox One has plenty of survival games, however none is more hardcore than DayZ, definitely a game that hooks you up, we talk a lot of shit about the game, but in the end we talk becuase we care, because we want to see this game being a sucess on the platform.

The developers confirmed that fix for duping will take some time to reach it. So unfortunately we can expect to see a lack of night vision googles and VSSs in the 1.03 update because people will dupe the hell out of it. It's SO hard to make a few locked servers as a test to acquire feedback from the community ? Locked servers are surelly a temporary solution for this, since your character will only exist there, pretty sure duping will not be possible or minimal in those servers, why Bohemia don't take this in consideration, something people are asking for months. Please, PLEASE, we just want to play the game right and with no troubles, every day there are less and less players in the game because of that, we are concerned about this game's future because we love it, there are no other hardcore survival games on the platform besides this one.

1.03 went to stable too early, they first released it on experimental on last week's friday ? I guess they had 2 exp updates before launching on stable and they are still releasing exp updates even after it. Maybe they launched early so they could release on Xbox by the end of the month ? (because every update goes to stable before they release on Xbox) edit: 200 posts, woop doo!!

It's pretty much clear that the Xbox community is losing players and because of that there are many low to empty servers, if you guys don't fix dupping and meatballing, and also the spawns of some military weapons like AKMs and M4A1s more Xbox players will stop playing the game by the day.

I'ii be honest, when i first read Xbox Players on the twitter notification here in my phone i was excited thinking it was the 1.03 update finally dropping lol.
