  1. for me,things has turned to slightly positive cos of few servers that runs true hardcore settings...but really i would like to know what is situtiation about,fishing,bows and diseases?
    we dont have any status reports anymore and in customers mind,predictting about those features is just...maybe this year or next....
    but just wanna know that is fishing/bow/diseases developing  even started??
    months not years?


  2. no...buy character for 3 dollars and get barrel stuck in hands...(it was bug in 0.62...only cure was killing yourself to get rid of the damned barrel)
    there is some server called 1 life server...if you die,you are banned from the server for that season.

  3. one thing what i dont like its that when starving or shotted in leg...the result is same.
    character starts to limb.it just feels cheap system.
     

    getting shotted and starving should be separated somehow...at least,if your hydration is low and your hungry as monkey...your stamina bar should start go low first.
    not like that you havent eat for an 2 hours.....you start limb and die.
    i would go even that your character starts to walk if calories are low but after 2 minutes resting,you can jog for a while.
    dying in thirst and hunger should be longer process.

    i havent played that mod but is it really working?...just...i dont understand.
    devs cant develope crossbow but we allready had mod for it?

     

    or is it because xbox and ps4 cant have mods so they cant officially add crossbow or what...explain?
    also there is now mod what makes player to vomit if eating raw meat or suspicious mushrooms...in two years,why devs coudnt add vomit effects?

    was there any word about fishing?...i thinkt that its same as bow...very hard to implement....so we need fishing mod....

    Those who dont care about it...they dont care if you have to eat 15times in day to night cycle

    Spring chernarus:
    more wild animals
    semi bright nights
    no fruits/mushrooms

     

    Summer chernarus:(workshop)
    bright nights
    not much fruits/mushrooms
    no hypothermia but hyperthermia

    autumn chernarus:(default)
    dark nights
    plenty of fruits/mushrooms

    winter chernarus:(workshop)
    no fruits
    wolfs spawns sometimes in near south
    hypotermia

  8. what if....:bound that personal light thingy just when your character is walking...?so if you jog or sprint,there is no additional light....but when walking,personal light is active.
    it would be like that when you move slowly you can concentrate more on surroundings....and reduce a bit that light and add also fade in/fade out between movement.
    thanks.what i win?

    edit:also crouch and prone maybe should have then this extra "concentrate light"

My server pref for 'Vanilla/1st Person/Low Loot/No Traders/Just Survive' usually returns little to no players ATM. Makes me sad knowing that I have even less a chance to run into another human being to interact with.

    I'm not familiar with how servers work, but is it possible to have 75% day/25% night in one day cycle? Maybe more players would stick around for night time play if they knew it would pass sooner?

    Just my 2 cents.

    So do you have your own server?

    If i would have server,i would run server as seasons and from there adjust night light....autumn would be very dark...winter some more light cos of snow and summer would have twilight.

    i would like to see also server owner decide that he runs maps in different seasons and then adjust few things in there.
    examble start from summer chernarus,then autumn and winter chernarus.
    gameplay is in different seasons slightly different.
    maybe berries and little mushrooms as summer but no apples or plums or pears...they are collectable as autumn.
    maybe animal behaviour should see some change in different seasons...maybe even winter wolfs would come to more in south find food.
    winter would be quite dark but not that dark than autumn...summer would be slightly just twilight.
    and i would like to test ban from death server sometimes...would be intense

  11. so...tested loot farming and i was able to do it...i just tested on one house.
    also tested raw meat eating

     i ate one chicken raw,then i ate almost three goats raw and waited 15 minutes and nothing happened.
    my stomach was quite full between goats and their guts so i puked few times but continues eating with my bloody hands.....i survived.
    only think what i didnt survive was depression with these survival mechanics in game so i ended my life shortly after feasting the meatz.

  12. okay....first test and spawned at night and it feels that i have chemlight as a builded in my hands.
    there is moon in sky...why it is not get some light on enviroment?

    for me it feels like devs have decided to input invisible chemlight in character models head that everyone can see at night,

  13. that kind of gameplay what im seeking...i dont believe that we gonna see that happen in next update or even never.
    im trying to find gameplay where loot is low,at start of the life,you suffer but if you manage to get yourself up from the troubles,you feel alive.
    im trying to find gameplay,where you have to somehow plan your moves....if you have to take trip to hospital,you have to prepare yourself for the upcoming efforts.
    but ps4 dayz coming...i dont see that official gameplay servers have nothing hardcore.
    updated the first post one exiting mod.

    every mod is not maybe realistic but i think that good gameplay is builded upon with gameplay/realistic approach
