Oh building a base is tedious and time consuming huh? Putting a car together is tedious and time consuming huh? Well, I guess you haven't figured out that you're not suppose have a car within the first 15-30 mins of the game. You're not suppose to have a giant fortress castle within the first 15-30 minutes of the game. What you label as tedious and not enjoyable is actually fun an and enjoyable for others. If you don't like how they did base building and car building, then don't do it. Just because you don't have the "time or patience" to be bothered with it doesn't mean it's poorly designed. Jesus, it's take 1 spark plug, a car battery, a radiator, some oil, some water, some gas and possibly 1-4 tires to have a car up and running. Everything can easily be found in garages and industrial areas. Tires can also be taken from other vehicles. If that's too much for you to do, then I would suggest finding an easier game to play

Hey guys. Any recommendations of a good GSP? Preferable north american based. I'm using Vilayer at the moment but their service is atrocious and their customer service is even worse. In two weeks I've already lost days in server downtime without any explanations or notifications of a disrupted service. So, again, any decent GSP to use?

Because you don't need to build a base to survive. You don't need a car to survive. Those are just fun little meta projects to do while you try and "survive" in this "sandbox" game

Well, one monitor looks like it's got it's built in brightness cranked, right monitor, and the left monitor has just slightly turned up brightness. I say this because the blacks in the background are extremely fuzzy and this only happens when brightness/gamma gets cranked up

One huge issue is that weather is not synced. For some it my be a totally cloudy foggy night and for others it's completely clear. To me, this is a major issue and should be addressed immediately as it does impact pvp. The unsynced weather makes pvp extremely unbalanced and favours the person who has no cloud coverage and fog

Or you know, that isn't the end game goal. Just things to do while surviving in a harsh apocalyptic world. For some, fishing and hunting could be their endgame. For others it's hunting people down but at the end of the day, DayZ is a sandbox and there is no endgame. Your game ends when you're dead and starting from scratch.

Endgame. Isn't that where you're suppose fight a big ass boss in an epic encounter but it's actually extremely unfulfilling as the end boss is rather easy and then credits start rolling afterwards? Then the game asks you to buy some dlc to extend the endgame after you already shelled out 60 bones for 15 hours of game time

How does BI push out it updates to the server hosters? I'm going through Vilayer and they apparently are having issues with this update and I cannot update my server at the moment. Yes I've put in a ticket with them but I've gotten a very vague response from them. Is this a problem with BI giving out a shitty server file for that specific hoster? How does BI send out these updates? Since that update has gone live I'm still shut down as of this message so that should tell you how long it's been since this has been going on

I believe your thirst and hunger levels will go down much faster as you get weaker and eventually will probably start losing blood or even health. Not sure as the sickness seems to be a hit and miss. Just to update, the straight to death is a little odd, you should have at least been knocked out first maybe but it all depends at what state of sickness you were in... dunno

Your character was sick so yes, you can get two shotted when you are unhealthy even if your "health is in white"

Clothing states seem to add some form of protection level. Just recently I had most of my gear ruined, jacket, pants, backpack and I noticed that infected hits would cause me to bleed almost instantly and drop my health down even more but I have never been one hit by an infected yet. Was this on an official server or some modded server?

Because it was demanded. Because Epoch had it so DayZ must have it and be Epoch. There was absolutely zero reason for them to add the base building we have in favor of making camps with tents and creating shoddy walls to go around the camp. I mean, who in the hell is going to build guard towers in favor of fixing up already made structures and barricading them when things go to shit? *facepalm*

Well, there's three different types of players that I can tell that play DayZ. You got Bob the Builder type, Rambo type and the in between type, the normal people. Bob the builder just wants to build his home, white picket fence and grow his garden. Rambo want to run the the nearest military base and load up on thousands of round of ammo and a couple dozen guns and the normal person just want to play the damn game and hope that it fucking works
