I'm still working on adding zeds spawn in areas that need it but I dont know if it's as simple as adding the coordinates as some spawns I made don't appear to be working and finding any form of information on this is rather vague

I tried changing the port and adding the rule to my port forwarding. Still nothing. It's fine. I'll just run blind tests on my main server

Ya, this is very subjective. I mean, if you really enjoy having gear handed to you, dumbed down and easy gameplay, then ya, mods are awesome. It's like everyone gets a trophy when it comes to modding

@pilgrim* This is two different machines running servers through the same router. I was able to make the other one show in the community list but it wouldn't load. I'll look at it some more today

I just spent the past two and a half real days trying to get across the map to where I had previously died because my car is there. Along the way I had acquired a jerry can(very much needed), a couple litres of oil and a medium tent. I had no stamina left and had to carry the tent. I was also hungry so I knew I'll have to loot some towns a long the way. Well, it was easier said than done. Some places I couldn't even attempt to really loot due to all the infected around. If I drew any attention I was done for. So having to pick my spots to loot and battles against the infected proved to be long and grueling. I did this for two and half days. I finally make it to my car. Filled her up and away I went. I'm just driving down the highway wondering about where to set up camp when I realized I'm cutting through Vybor and heading east. I stop at an intersection which has a left hand turn, I look in my inventory and come to terms that I need protection. Some weapons. I turn left down the dirt road towards the North West Airfield and ultimately, to my doom. As soon as I entered into the southern end of the airfield, this notion came over me that I haven't been able to really open Gretchen up(Gretchen's my car). So cut straight to the airstrip and floored it. Man, these ADA's are gutless. Most I got up to was 118km/h. When I finally decided I had enough fun racing up and down the airstrip, I decided to check out tent city. I drive up there, running over a few infected that I aggroed, pulled into the tent city area, stopped the car and got out. It seemed like I had run over most over them prior to entering because I had free reign of the first section. Looted a bit of that but only found a replacement pants so I decided to move on to the next section. This one is crawling with infected so I start sneaking around but as soon as I rounded a tent, I bumped into an infected. I immediately bolted for the car. I made it, got in but fumbled for my keys and had troubles starting the car. Even with the door closed, I must have left the the window down as I was getting hit. I finally got the car started and had just barely got it moving when the screen went black...... I love my car..... I miss her so much

Well, I switched the port and the server now shows up, but when I click on the server and play button, nothing happens. I'll keep digging lol. Thanks guys

There will never be a true "hardcore server" because everyone version of hardcore is so different. Something came to me last night after a nice bowl of BC's finest. What if loot was very rare and the infected were a lot harder to kill. With the loot being rare and the infected being harder we could move certain loot drops to the infected for a chance of finding the item you need, aka food, bullets, medicine etc. Drasticaljy searched every military base for your precious m4 but cant find one but you see a horde or military infected, maybe one of them has one. Need food but cant find any, maybe farmer Jim-Bob has a can of beans on him. Just something that came across my mind

I quit before they added the LFR as the game was already getting dumbed down and they were handing out epics and legendaries like candy

@kopo79 getting cold is in game but as far as I can tell, the only thing it seems to affect is stamina. Also, if it's raining and you're not getting cold and wet, then it's not actually raining and you need to relog. The eating of raw meat needs to be addressed but if you kill and animal and gut it without gloves on, you will get sick if you don't wash the blood off your hands. Also, now that I'm running a dedicated server it'll be easier for me to play with the files and adjust the loot spawns and spread out the infected. I'll be working on spreading out the infected spawns and adding so new spawn points along roads and certain locations.

I had a server through Vilayer for a month (don't ever use them) and in that month nothing disappeared. Only thing is that a fully damaged vehicle will despawn even with all your items in it

Welk the game is still so far from complete that we can't even modify the files properly until everything us implemented

This might be different for each provider but how do you go about restoring a back up file from the system they put in place?

Hey, I'm not begging you to play on my server lol and I''m sure someone out there will be dedicated enough to not turn this into another boring looter shooter. If tweaking the config files inst't changing loot spawns than that's a problem on BI's end and no modder will be able to fix that.

Nope. Never had that but I have noticed that when you log back into a server, sometimes a sound that may have happened before or as you logged out comes out of nowhere Big one for me is the flare. If I log out with a flare in hand and log back in, it takes about a minute or so for the flare noise to happen
