May want to ask Microsoft

Game is released. No need for a roadmap anymore
-
I don't know how the xbone controls are but whatever the unjam button is, just tapping it each time should unload the weapon as that's how it is on PC
-
Bahaha, so much for hardcore survival. The snowflakes have spoken and now we all have our own special nightlight. Good job BI 👍

I've got a few questions about editing this and what some of the values do. I'm just wondering if I were to delete usage names in under specific items such as Ammo_762x54 and delete <usage name="Town"/>, <usage name="Village"/> will that remove them from spawning at those locations and does that mean removing those two locations would cause more to spawn abundantly in the other locations left? If so, what values would I need to change to balance out the spawn ratio?

PLEASE reverse the NEW "Client Side Personal Night Light"

Simple solution. All the devs have to do is grab a few high end monitors, crank the gamma on the monitor and adjust the game accordingly. Those who have low end or very old monitors my have a little more difficult time but thems the breaks. Assuming the devs aren't going to bend over and cater to the casual/console crowd, which sadly, looks like they are -
Improved Direct Communication across all channels...

Just like your whining and bitching. You, Weyland, IMT have been nothing but cancerous to the development team. You're constant bellyaching over minor thing they do has been childish and unwarranted. Go outside. Get some fresh air. Have a snickers. Hell, maybe have some cheese whizz. It adds personality -

Seriously? This bullshit thread again? The game is released. The devs are not obligated to hold your hand through every minor change -
The problem is there is no consequence to pvp. I've got the infected numbers increased by a lot on my server and you don't dare risk firing a weapon just for the sake of kos'ing.

Crappy luck. They are there

why mods are better then the regular game

No, the plebs lack the ability to craft my magnificent trophy. I'll wait for someone to mod it -
NWAF WiP - There was so many my sound got glitchy. This is what I'm aiming for with the NWAF but I want them spread out more but in numbers like that

Well, if this works properly with the types.xml, I just cut the gun and ammo spawns in half. With food and backpacks in 3rd's. Setting some respawns from 2 hours to a week. Hoping that it works
-
Ok, cool. Now I just need to figure this out lol
-
Also, there are some variables that I don't want to adjust until I see what happens on the 27th. I'm putting a lot of faith in the team that they will create the hardcore experience, or very close to, that some of us are looking for without us having to do a lot of adjusting but more fine tuning instead. We shall see what happens.

I can't even find the weather function in the server files

Ok, is this for just triggering an event at a certain chance? If so, then that works perfect for the soccer/football field in Cherno I was talking more about this in the worlds_chernarusplus_ai.pbo wolf_territories.xml <territory-type> <territory color="4291611852"> <zone name="Water" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="2595" z="5947.5" r="60" d="2"/> <zone name="Rest" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="1695" z="6187.5" r="247.5" d="2"/> <zone name="Rest" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="1777.5" z="5760" r="187.5" d="2"/> <zone name="Rest" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="952.5" z="6225" r="172.5" d="2"/> <zone name="Rest" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="2160" z="5722.5" r="157.5" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="1792.5" z="5910" r="300" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="997.5" z="6217.5" r="255" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="907.5" z="5100" r="225" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="540" z="4252.5" r="217.5" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="1605" z="6397.5" r="217.5" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="982.5" z="6705" r="180" d="2"/> <zone name="HuntingGround" smin="0" smax="0" dmin="0" dmax="0" x="2242.5" z="5662.5" r="157.5" d="2"/> I believe you can spawn permanent wolves with this in certain areas if you want instead of having them randomly appear by chance
-
I was looking at the pbo for that, worlds_chernarusplus_ai wolf_territories and it shows 0 in the dynamic min and max spawn section. Actually all animals are that way yet they are spawning on my server as are all the other animals that should be but it's all very random and seldom
-
They aren't as uncommon as you think. I'm finding them no problem on my server but now I can't find a spark plug anywhere
-
That it is. That's the Hardcore challenge is laid out that I want someone to post a video of.

Passing through Balota, I was starting to get thirsty so I figured I'd check out the water pump. I need to improve my stealth skills...... Music is my own

Hey guys. I've got a dedicated 60 man server going on one computer and I want to run another one from my gaming computer to test from but as far as I can tell DayZ uses one port 2302. How can run a second server on a separate port?
-
Technically you don't need to. Once you download the dedicated server, you can just go into the install folder right click on your DayZServer_x64 and send to desktop and just start it from there without steam being involved at all
-
I made a new steam account on my other computer. The dedicated server is free so you can just download it

Step 1: Open iZurvive Step 2: Locate car spawns on iZurvive Step 3: Go to car spawns located on iZurvive Step 4: Remove wheels from cars Step 5: Profit
