After 5 years, I am leaving the DayZ community.

I've been following the forums since the DayZ mod days. Just because I only decided to finally make a forum account last year doesn't mean I don't know wtf is going on -

Golf clap, you discovered what goes into a game. You're still not grasping what I actually said. Good day to you. smh -

If that was the case they wouldn't even have to wait with the enfusion engine. The could have just slapped everything in and call it a day.... smh -
Dude, read the bloody status reports. They've mentioned barricading multiple times *rolls eyes*.

Ok, what part are you not getting? You're quoting and repeating exactly what I just said. Name the assets that they used? -
You realize that will most likely come with full release right? Part of the base building that they've talked about *rolls eyes*
-
You mean modders are going to throw in more guns, add this circle of doom that will slowly get smaller and smaller over time as the players scramble to find guns to kill each other with and the last player standing wins.... oh wait....

You realize that they reworked the game from scratch under the new engine and have been slowly adding modules from the new engine into the game we have now. They've also be redoing all the animations for the infected and players. Let's not forget the new sounds -

RELEASE DATE: 16 Dec, 2013. Learn your time frame please :) And this is actually on par for a game being created from scratch without reusing assets from previous games. -

That was your first and only problem to begin with. It wasn't a game yet and still isn't. It's in a development stage and has been for quite a long time. Each patch introduced different mechanics for us to test to see how they work and they removed some that either did work or weren't working properly. Alpha testing isn't suppose to be fun per se if you understand what you are getting yourself into. Anyways, take care and farewell. -
Lmao. Ok there buddy. Don't quit your day job
-
So you think the devs are just going to not add content and the modders will be the saving grace of Dayz? smh
-
Is there any hope left? Please tell there is!

Can you provide anything constructive besides whining? Read the stickies. All the information is there. Good day. -
Not sure why you would have to do a reinstall. Mine updated fine. Launched the game, clicked play and back on the last server I was on with everything intact. Were you perhaps messing with config settings?

Second topic down on the main forums page is "Developer Discussion & Status Reports" smh

Firestation upper floors are inaccessible
Guy Smiley replied to Robert Neville's topic in General Discussion
I've always had to run upstairs in the fire stations in order to go up -
And they'll most likely remove stamina anyway
-
I can see it now, "I set autorun and went to take a piss and came back and I'm dead!!! Game sucks *&%$% you Bohemia!!!"
-
Autorun will be useless once stamina comes into play, so the game does not need it.
-
Enlighten me, what is it that "we" actually want?
-
Wow, you guys talk like this is how the game is going to be upon full release. Smh
