Did I hurt your feelings? I am so sorry. Attacking the developers and blaming them for his lack of knowledge on how to use his computer is ridiculous. You are right tho, multiple, maybe a dozen or so, people are getting BSOD but not just from DayZ. And the feedback tracker is for "DayZ" not windows
-
Am I ranting in a general discussion forum for a game about a computer problem? Nope. Again, use the proper section and someone will be able to point you in the right direction https://forums.dayz.com/forum/126-troubleshooting/
-
Go bitch on the steam forums then. it did uninstall steam right? Oh but that's DayZ's fault too right? Again, I use windows 10, zero fucking issues,. It's a you and the small number of people who can't seem to keep their computers up to date having issues. Also, use the proper section and not general discussions https://forums.dayz.com/forum/126-troubleshooting/
-
You have a computer problem, not a game problem. Get that thru your head. Go post on the Microsoft forums
-
So because you guys know nothing about computers it's DayZ's developers fault? Riiiiight. Get a clue. Maybe post on the Microsoft forums and get a solution there. Btw, I use windows 10, zero issues. It's definitely on you.

Dude, there is nothing to focus on. The OP, just like every other person that makes a rage post about the state of the game, obviously bought it thinking it was a complete game. Instead of focusing on looking for bugs and testing out mechanics, they try to play DayZ like it's a full released game and get pissed off when something isn't working. Hell, I haven't touched .62 in over a year because nothing was going on and I only check out .63 once in a bit to "test" how things are progressing. I really hope that the devs stick to their vision of DayZ being a gritty hardcore survival game where running as fast as you can to the NWAF will get you killed faster than people creating rage posts on why they can't run to the NWAF to gear up.
-
Please enlighten me on what the real problem is?
-
It's a riddle why people buy incomplete games in the first place. Fact: Majority of people confuse early access games as "Pre-purchase"
-
To be honest, I have been disgusted with how long the development was taking until I read about them rebuilding the game engine. It's sad that people compare the development of this game to other franchises that use an already established game engine to regurgitate multiple copies of their games. CoD and BF are prime examples.
-
Except, the OP didn't state that. His second sentence was "Honestly, you should switch the name to hunger simulator"
-
It is not normal that they have zero knowledge of what has been going on. It's called common sense. Example: I have a house being built, I don't go to the contractor and start screaming at him why the roof isn't on when the foundation just got laid out. Common fucking sense
-
Re-read the OP's post. That was absolutely whining with zero knowledge of what has been going on with the game. "Hunger simulator" ffs? Posts like these are shit and absolutely unwarranted. Adding "Just my opinion" doesn't change the fact that posts like these are a person raging about something they have no control over.
-
They have them. Rust and Miscreated are definitely the wannabe survival games that some people who come here and scream about DayZ want
-
Please clarify. Do you hate the fact that you actually have to stop, eat and drink, and take your time or do you hate the fact that there's no instant gratification of finding gear so you can go pew pew with you buddies every 15 mins?
-
Stop running everywhere....

Which is a better experience? Expermintal or stable?
Guy Smiley replied to G3t0nMyLvll's topic in General Discussion
Wow, that was some piss poor advice. Use the experimental as the stable branch is obsolete and is not even close to what the gameplay is going to be like. Keep in mind that the experimental is missing a lot of features right now and this is not a complete game. -
Here's the thing, BIS has a vision and direction they are going and guess what? It might not be everyone's cup of tea. I might not even like something in the final product once it's created but guess what? I could wait until a mod comes out that adjusts or removes the thing(s) I may not like. I'm pretty sure they are trying to keep DayZ to a fairly close playfield which would mean, everyone has head bob.

If you feel yourself getting sick, stop playing immediately. Things are going to get worse before they get better if you keep playing. Try to open a window or go outside and get some fresh air. If you find that you do experience motion sickness from video games, you can do a few things to hopefully prevent it in the future. Turn on more lights. Playing in a dark room is bad for your eyes anyway. Sit farther away from the TV. Your body can get used to it after repeated sessions—a pattern of playing and getting sick, stopping, and then restarting later when you feel better. Do this until you stop getting sick entirely and your brain finally realizes that what you are seeing and doing isn’t actually harming you. That process of getting used to it can take a while and isn’t pleasant, however. Some medications can help (Dramamine, Bonine, Meclizine, and Benadryl), and while they can work, they might also make you drowsy, which isn't good for gamers and most people in general. If you're not having any luck reducing motion sickness while playing certain games, you might be left having to withdraw from those games altogether. Stick to games with simpler movements. https://www.lifewire.com/video-games-and-motion-sickness-3562484

Is this even a game at this point?
Guy Smiley replied to Zing Freelancer's topic in General Discussion
Because you can't get fully military geared up in 10 mins anymore? -
Yes, but before .63, most other factors besides weapon sway, didn't have any effect. Their reasoning is sound. I'm a huge advocate for full realism but with the console announcement, that is way too many factors to play in for the controller folks. The redesign of the engine is for the consoles and both versions are going to be identical. Modding will fix your concerns
-
Change your playstyle? The goal is to stay alive as long as possible. DayZ at it's core is about survival. How you choose to do that is all on you. Mods will bring objective goals which seems to be important for some reason.
-
Please don't speak for me. If I really wanted all those things you are saying that "we" want, then I'll just go play pubg. You're going to very disappointed upon vanilla DayZ. What "you" want will be from a mod.
-
Oh they already have and the harsher elements aren't even in game yet lol
