I'm with you! Or at least give apple trees a max of 3 apples each, some notifier that there are none left. Of course I'd love the final solution and just make them world containers. -

The current fruit tree system is a placeholder. - It will become a World Container that you can walk up to and hit TAB to loot soon. (Rocks may as well, but not sure.) -

These are definitely different days in DayZ! KOS Bandits may lessen when groups find it hard to stay alive at all. . Hell, we may even seen groups of players holding others up, collecting them, and forcing them to farm for them in exchange for life haha -

A few bugs and the reinsertion of vehicles. Only two bugs I know of are the 'Black-Face' one and the Status modifier freeze. The rest of .61 looks pretty good.

To the best of my knowledge, they're working to increase and improve upon the medical system of DayZ :) However, I know that CPR is really just meant as a slower version of using a EP Pen or Morphine on an unconscious player. The Defib doesn't work right now either, but I'm curious how they'll place it into the game in a good role. I think there ought to be a way of cauterizing bleeding wounds shut too, for the cost of 100 Health or something.

Switch to Experimental if you want to experience meeting other players multiple times an hour. Otherwise, Stable is very dry as the Experimental .61 Update is very popular. - On Stable, if you want to meet others, go hang out in Northwest Airfield. . But they'll probably try to kill you.

Oooooh neat :D I remember the Cabinets having inventory space, but didn't know they had made fridges and such. I assume the Fruit Trees will be a self-growing inventory space that can be taken from.

I've been following the SRs and the Exp threads as best as possible and have not once heard of this World Container change. Do you mind linking me something? - Or can you explain it a little more depth for me? Apologize for the 'repeat' post, but I'm honestly just trying to have open conversation on what would best improve the game - If there's already a solution on the way, awesome!

I think the ruined gear mechanic is absolutely necessary for the atmosphere of the game. It's more incentive to try and not get hit so your own gear isn't destroyed - And since murder is just a choice you have in game, there ought to be rewards/punishments in taking someone else's life. I like the mechanic, but I think there ought to be some scaling with how much it ruins. Occasionally its a bit silly where one bullet ruins a vest, shirt, and backpack.

Good point and good supportive solution that works well with this system. If it could help to diminish server load, all the better and we could could expect to see a lot less desynch :)

It actually looks like your bullets hit collision with the center of the bush and it created a shield for the guy you shot at. . Maybe? xD Definitely looked like there was a hit every time you shot, but the bullets landed on that plant.

I didn't see a problem with having both options. Wirecutters, keys/lockpicks, use of melee to tear down doors, etc. . We can do both, if the choice were given. I think as Base Building arrives it won't be so far-fetched to see wirecutters to cut through fencing that players can put up, or otherwise, as well as make use of bombs to get rid of obstacles/rip down walls. One more use of the Key would be that it could both Open and Lock the door in question.

Hey dude! I also took a long break from the game to see what else they could come out with! On Exp, it feels like an entirely new game. . and it's amazing! Food/Water/Resources are actually low enough to give you a run for your money if you get caught in the wilderness and are starving (Which happens relatively fast) The weather will straight up kill you a few times before you learn to be wary of the cold and the rain. I was killed by Hypothermia maybe three times yesterday xD And the Zeds are insane right now! If you fire a gun, expect to see 10+ Infected within the first few seconds, with many on the way. - They're just as fast as humans and do not stop chasing you until a veryyyy long time. Definitely give this game a shot again and download the Exp :D It's ridiculously fun. If you want someone to run with, PM me. -
I wouldn't mind more places where heavy loot can be gathered - Especially if it's locked up in some way that forces players to get specific items to get it open. The use of melee weapons, bombs, and even finding maps with X marks the spot would be awesome ^_^

I'd give it to March 2017 before we should get shifty again on Updates. The next big one is a visual update to the game (Which sounds cool no matter what they do) and I assume the new Player Character, which will add in physics and fix the camera to not be abused.

This can only be inserted in the game if they put up a definitive US Army base - Maybe even a shipwreck out in the ocean out from Cherno.

My proposal is to change the Infected spawnpoints so that they appear within different buildings and homes instead of out in the streets. The purpose for this is dual faceted. A:) It hides the OOC understanding that other players are also nearby based on how many Infected they see out in the streets. B:) Devs can more easily control AI population to correct levels for server performance. -- Secondary Proposal: Only spawn 1/3 Infected population until sufficient noise level has been reached (Firing a gun, driving a car)

Pretty common sense thing here. Snow would be that much more environmentally immersive :D When can we haz?

I would imagine Snow to be just another weather modifier - Perhaps just a heavily increased effect on Rain, colder temperatures, and a slow motion white fleck visual appearance. In mass it could form a White-Out effect on the distance.

Definitely a more accurate supposition - It's just definitely feeling like the rosey tinted glasses are coming off and the real elements are dangerously close to implementation. So much that Hicks had to address PvPers in that kind of odd customer service manner xD Maybe .62, and the rest of impending delights, are going to be far more efficient of time that we'll begin seeing them in smatterings of updates. (Or so I can hope xD) Based on the video we saw last of their animation system, the camera, and etc - Does it look like those are very far from being complete? Obviously we can only give opinions, but I'm cautiously filling myself with hope that we're in the DANGER ZONE!

Hahaha I think there'll be a natural disparity between the types of players then - Those that really want to fly, and the vultures who fawn over the crashes of their fallen neighbors xD Besides the Little Bird, I am hoping for at least one military transport helicopter - Maybe a Medivac :D Hm - Do you guys imagine that .62 will appear as more than just a Enviornmental Visual Update? I may be reaching, but I assume it'll also be updating forest/town audio, AND placing in the vehicles/guns. If that includes helis, that would be a surprise, but I definitely think sedans, trucks, and bikes will be inserted also.

Hahaha true that. If they end up just throwing ONE Helicopter in that Tisy area to begin with, I hope the respawn rate is pretty damn high xD The learning curve of flying in this game may be a little different than Arma 3 so I expect to see a LOT of crashing hahaha. P.S.: Totally think they'll be increasing the map size once Helis become more tangible ^_^ Here's hoping a more Southern Island is attached to Cherno, and more contaminated areas!
