    It's not really a counter. It's either 0 or 1. If it's 1, it counts when it checks if a new item needs to be respawned. So count_in_player would check every player on the server who has a FAL. If that number is greater than 10, it doesn't spawn a new one.

    I think that it means that it's exclusively for dynamic events. If you change it to 0, it might mean that it now spawns in military barracks as well.

    I remember that thread on Reddit. There should be a reply from me in that thread explaining that it stands for dynamic event loot. So yes, it's indeed dynamic loot.

    You are literally using a program which people use to bypass bans. I really don't believe a word of that you didn't cheat when you're using such application which is used by cheaters to bypass bans.

    Now this is exclusively for PC but it could be the same process for Xbox as well: I think you need to replace the Steam64ID with the Xbox gamer tag or what ever Xbox has to give their users an unique identifier. Perhaps @ImpulZ can shed some light on this?

    Which database? If you mean the players.db file, then yes. It's not a MySQL file but a SQLite file, which can be opened by any database browser/workbench program which supports SQLite. Edit: I think I used "DB Browser for SQLite" in the past to open the file.

    While it is indeed possible, you would need to implement that AI on scripting level instead of engine level. It would make an AI which is very prone to bugs, performance issues and also easy to figure out by reading the scripts. Not very optimal if you ask me.

There is no need to scream "modded server, doesn't count", "modded server, don't blame the devs", etc. Yes, the video in the OP does have a weapon mod installed, probably the Weapon Redux mod. Does this make the video invalid? No. Let me explain why, a mod or multiple mods don't make a video or claim invalid instantly. The gun you see is the AK101, it shoots 5.56mm. The caliber is in the game so the ballistics and physics concerning that round are set by the developers. Since it's a 5.56 and an assault rifle, the gun itself most likely has just the copied values from the M4A1, which is also in the game. This means you would get the same results with the M4A1, which is an official weapon. It's unfortunate that they used the AK101 and not an official gun because they will lose the credibility of those who don't have a clue how things work. If they used the M4A1, you would've said nothing about mods but the mod would still be installed and you wouldn't know about it, at all. Also, I'm not always calling foul on the developers. And what do you call "foul"? My criticism has always been true and based on facts. I don't come up with made up shit or whatever and I most certainly don't criticise to just hate on the developers. Plus, if you have been somewhat been active on the forums the last couple of years, you should know that I didn't always criticise them before. In fact, my posts have always been defensive towards the game and the developers. Until one point, one day and one event, the announcement of 1.0. Yes, since then I have shown a lot of criticism, disbelieve and no trust in the developers. Gee, I wonder why. I paid for a product at the time which promised to be a real and true survival game once it hits 1.0. I paid for it because I thought that it would be the best game survival game out there once it hits 1.0. Guess how that turned out. So tell me, don't I have a damn good reason to criticise their actions and words? The worst thing of all is that I always told the people who literally hated on the game "wait until 1.0 is out and then come back and judge the game. I'm sure your opinion is going to be different at that point". Do you now understand why I feel backstabbed, betrayed and lied to? And really, the "I can not wait for your superior game" argument? Come on man, you really got no better arguments? I'm not here to develop a game. If I was, I would be doing that instead of posting this. I'm here because I bought DayZ.

    Don't blame modders for the shitty ballistic system. A mod/multiple mods doesn't immediately give the developers an automatic get out of jail free card. Stop giving them fucking get out of jail free cards.

    gear_food.pbo. In the config.cpp file, every item concerning food is in there. You want to edit the nutrition part. Take baked beans for example: class Nutrition { fullnessIndex = 1.5; energy = 123; water = 70; nutritionalIndex = 1; toxicity = 0; }; These are the numbers you want to edit. For powdered milk, putting a minus in front of the water value might decrease your hydration level (i.e. water = -70;). However, I'm not sure about that, so you're going to have to test that yourself. I also don't know how editing a PBO works with client vs serverside. I think you probably would have to release a mod for your server which people need to download in order to get the new values. Not really into the modding scene so no idea how that works, perhaps you do already.

    Did you just quote a message from June 2017? Why? We haven't come far at all. Vanilla is still piss easy, development is slower than a snail and modding can't reach its full potential yet because no documentation has been released whatsoever. In fact, DayZ is currently at its low point in all of its development. No communication, slow to almost no progress, broken promises, etc. Back in that time I was optimistic and still hopeful. Now there is no good word I can put out for the development of this game, so you're quoting the wrong guy/post here.
