I wouldn't call them rare but uncommon. Guns like the FAL, UMP and VSS with a mag, those are rare in my eyes. You can find them in the feeder shacks (the small hunting stand with the steps), the regular hunting stand and in the plywood shack with the window in the back.

It's not the looks if someone is friendly but rather the actions. Sure, someone with a fully automatic and fully military clothed is an higher risk but that will not determine the outcome of a firefight. But I do consider this a rather friendlier look than the usual full Gorka, TTSKO and what not.

Trust me, it will. They will be sprinting all the time and have no stamina at all, when suddenly... shots and then "fuck, no stamina".

I believe it does but not as fast as sprinting, which is logical. Or at least I hope it does. It does make sense in a realism way. Take a break every now and then to get your stamina up or just walk for a bit until you have the stamina to jog again. That's how it works in real life as well.

Well, I hope you don't jog in the middle of the airfield from hangar to hangar or just looting in military bases in general. On an high pop I usually try to get as quick as possible to the next loot point. Taking your sweet time jogging or killing an infected in the open is a death wish in those high risk areas.

Wow, I'm actually quite surprised by the amount of people who don't sprint all the time. I wonder on which servers you guys play. Is it an high population server or rather low? Do you guys also jog in high risk locations like military bases, etc.?

The apple trees are still on the old player controller. With the new controller the glitch will be gone, for sure. I've also seen that the well glitch has been fixed in 0.63 as well. If they fixed the well then the apple tree glitch would be fixed for sure, wouldn't it? It's just the player controller and the animations which both cause those glitches. There are more glitches in-game like the apple tree glitch which people don't even know about. :)

With 0.63 we'll not be able to sprint unlimited so that's going to be history soon. But because it's the meta at the moment, I'm sprinting everywhere as well. It does have its advantages but also disadvantages. As you already said you will be harder to spot when jogging but people who sprint constantly will eventually catch up to you if they're looting behind you. I'm glad there will be a stamina system soon. Sometimes I jog to places just to be immersed. When I was playing on a roleplay server most of my traveling consisted of jogging. I'm sure a lot of people aren't going to like it but it was something which was coming eventually. It's the same reason why I don't use the apple tree glitch anymore. If you get used to something, you're going to have an hard time adjusting when it gets changed.

Just use the Windows Magnifying Glass function.

Doesn't insurance or waranty cover these things? It's insane that a $2,500 gaming PC is unusable because of a lightning strike. Doesn't your house have earthing? And as others already mentioned with $500 your not going to get a high end gaming PC, especially for VR, recording and streaming.

I just checked DayZ Spy and see that UK 5-51 is offline as well. I played on that server not that long ago. It was last seen 3 days ago. Maybe they relocated the servers and gave them different names?

I don't know how I feel about this one. I use it regularly to concentrate on certain spots when running around. Perhaps they could lower it instead of removing it? But let's be honest here, spotting something in DayZ is not very hard. I guess I will get used to it, should it be removed. If you keep your ridiculous sarcastic bullshit and negativity up then everyone is going to have you on their ignore list eventually. I guess you haven't been around here for long enough to know how the forums work. Feedback is welcome, negative and sarcastic bullshit bashing the game, developers or community isn't. I'm not the kind of person who ignores others. I rather tell it to your face that your behavior is not welcome here. The game gets enough negativity in the Steam reviews, let's keep the forums a clean place with constructed feedback and criticism.

Hicks still does a block of each SR. Maybe he stopped going to the public so often, especially since they have Baty now. Sometimes it's better to keep your distance or lay low for a while. Doesn't surprise me when he gets those kind of threats.

Really great guide explaining RP, nice job! Trust me, when you first start playing RP it feels really weird. That is if you play on an hardcore RP server with rules and such. You need to keep things in mind which you would never think of. Things you normally say or do can actually be Bad RP on a RP server.

I'm not sure how they think about it. I do know that topics like these usually don't stay for long. Would be nice to know how the developers stand against these servers though. Still, 0.63 is dropping soon and so is modding so I don't understand why they fired their servers up again.

I'm not sure if they can ban you for that. I also haven't heard of anyone getting banned for playing on those servers. However, it is a bannable offense for streamers to stream it I believe. I thought they quit the servers though?

I would love the attachments like Tarkov, be it a mod or vanilla. It's so complex that you either need to research some info online or just by trial and error. Both DayZ and Tarkov do get their things right with realism. I was talking yesterday to Emuthreat about the manual bolting and the animation for loading a magazine which is coming up in 0.63. It's something I believe no other games have done yet and these small things make DayZ so awesome and realistic. I never modded for Arma 2 but I do know that their going to give us the tools they use as well. In fact, there is already an entire documentation including all the classes, attributes, methods, etc. Not even that, if you know where to look you can see all/a lot of the scripts already written in Enfusion.

It is based on the Arma 3 engine, which was built to be for a military simulation game, not a zombie survival apocalypse simulator. Well, the only place were they weren't allowed in the beginning was upstairs. Apparently they couldn't climb stairs in the beginning.
