gets even more strange i have reinstalled windows all drivers fresh wipe, formatted drives clean as a whistle, steam an dayz for a third time reinstalled an still no dayz, works an loads into the menu but servers load up slowly on connection to a server after 20 seconds its kicks me saying confirmation of changes failed connection , restart :( works on my friends unit when i logged in on his comp.. tested in my house on the same net /?

yes a few times seems some servers dont show the healthy status or get stuck showing healthy ,,, as my friend was all fine eating an drinking away he jumped to another server an was starving an thirsty instantly from moving servers tells me some kind of problem

did you manage to get a fix for this issue JeffGhost? i have the same problem but only dayz.exe

there has to be someone on here that nows what i should do should i uninstall steam start again from stratch i just want to get back up an running from no fault of my own please a speedy reply would be great i have checked everything under the sun i will update this thread as i do ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? devs ??????????????? admin ?? jesus i just want my dayz back i can cope with the glitches all the mad stuff that goes on what i cant deal with is not playing the game for no fault of my own

i have a file that is been blocked in the command prompt games/steamapp/common/dayz/dayz.exe now i believe this was blocking it from the very start when i bought the game

Yes didn't make a difference which leads me to think the update has some how gone through

Hi just wondering if anyone can help i have logged into steam today knowing there was an update..... No update has come on my steam as i logged in but yet my file version is the same as my friends that has updated , but the strangest thing is lets me on the game an i was playing normal, all of a sudden the game crashed screen went onto the desktop an i was unable to rejoin.... until i ended process an restarted. but now i have loaded in the game an the servers load up very slowly my favourites don't even load up once i get a server it kicks me out until i join it maybe 5 times, then it lets me on the game, any info or where i should direct my problem to ,,,, :(... i'm certain that steam did not update as i was watching for it as a friend had told me, first time logging in from the 4pm time it stated would be online :( i have been on comps an games a while to no if it doesn't update it wont let me online which is why i'm here strange but i had not been on the game or steam at all today so when i watched it start up an was waiting for the update, it just never came wont let me join any servers now :( i have tried to reinstall the game alone and steam as well an reinstalled a second time fresh with steam update the same happens :( i have 66mb dl 17mb ul i have been on the game after the update, i can see some servers but not all, just wont let me join ....connection failed ....restart :( CANT PLAY losing patience after all the rail glitches an respawns i finally got kitted up ready to move on an now causing everyone to wait while i get an answer from someone :( please help :)
