There's a few hickups, when you change the to chorus, maybe pump up the music volume too. Still I liked it, made me boogie out :)

That your character have and what the debug monitor shows is not always the same. If you change your shin ingame, your debug monitor shows kills/murders/humanity as reset to zero. When you're moving and not damaging other players, you're constantly regenerating humanity, untill you reach 2500. But since the debug monitor is bugged, you'll often log in with 0, allowing you to regen additional 2500. It makes a big different if you're playing as a nice guy, because you'll be able to reach hero status, just but not killing others in two sittings.

I'd like to see bows in the standalone to give it some aditional oomph, Rocket talked about a few features that could justify the pricepoint. Why not monkey around a bit in his sexy mo-cap suit and give us a nice bow animation. One low quality branch like bow and one hi-tec competition bow. Get to work. :D

Since many tents you come across after server retart are bulging with top tier weapons, I've begun downgrading my gear. I really like anything with iron sights and can almost trick myself into believing, I'm recreating that awesome feeling you had, when DayZ was new and you were happy carrying whatever you found. I do like the SAW though, it's nice and ugly looking at the same time. Mk48 has the same ugly, noise, deadly feeling.

I guess it bepends on your location, US if you're US :) Where there's zombies, there's open buildings, there's loot. Get comfortable moving around zombies, primary movement mode run crouched/walk crouched. You'll learn which buildings yields which loot, which are enterable and how close you can get to zombies. When you finally get a weapon, you'll have to learn how to shoot. If you never played OFP/ArmA before, you might have to unlearn some FPS habits. -

Civilian houses, appartment buildings, stores for handguns or rifles. Barns, stables for hatchets and rifles. Factories, worksheds for misc. ammunition. -

Rocket decided to make a mandatory 4 posts a week on the forums wont fix the bugs, people would still withhold their votes, like disgruntled wives. I voted despite the dev team utterly failed to predict the 2000% increase in players, thus have been working crazy hours to establish the infrastructure though the last couple of months, utelizing my favourite gaming platform, the BIS engine, to finally deliver the zombe/survival experience, we all been looking for. I've been killed by my share of bugs, but have shugged them off, as I consider it an honor to witnessing a tiny mod take on a decades of gamer dummification.

I joined a UK server monday and encountered my own first hand experience with a confriemd hacker and subsequently 3 hours later I meet my second, that's two since I started playing in may. Game's not dying, stop making sensationalist threads, just because you're tired of the game. Summer's over, we've waiting for a patch, we've been playing this for weeks and months, if you're sick and tired, take a break and play something else, instead of whining like a bitch on the forums. -
Why Bandit skins are a terrible idea.

Obviously we need to fix it, humanity bugs the debug monitor at the moment, when you join or changes skin. But bandit/hero skins are actually inviting good natured survivors to return to the cities south to do good deeds(Killing bandits on sight). So the skins are actually enforcing PvP. Before I'd never shoot anyone on sight, now I KOS bandits and visit Cherno/Elektro, providing bandits with additional targets. How's that a bad thing? I mean, while we survivors were whining, when bandit skins where removed, we were repeatedly told, KOS PvP is the name of the name, now we participate on our own terms and now KOS is suddently bad, because it's a two way street? -

Kind of deserved the 2nd one. Had a guy hunting him with an axe, he turns his back to him, turn around the corner and stops to kill a crawling zombie with a axe weilding crazy player behind him. -
