Anyways the reload sound indicates that this piece of shit, logged in to the airfield like a piece of shit or server farmed the airfield like a piece of shit and as the piece of shit he were obviously wasn't interested in making friends, only farming loot, like a loot farming, server hopping piece of shit. What's the word on first person servers, you getting good turn out? I don't get why first person players continue to try to dictate, what third person servers should do and not do. Now that you've got your own servers, it's really none of your business anymore.

Vehicles needs to be rare and extremely complicated to repair. You should need a big toolbox with lots of different tools to repair and maintain a functional vehicle. I fully enjoy this particular time in development, where no one is hording all the vehicles outside of the map and not racing from crash site to crash site every time the server restarts.

You don't get it. When you spawn, you're pretty dehydrated and because of that, the game ensures that you have a motivation for begin your fight for survival. However you don't get hydrated by drinking a single can of soda or a quarter can of beans. Your stomach can contain 4000 milliliters, your body can contain 4-5000 milliliters fluid and you body can store 20000 units of energy in your muscles and fat. So in order to become hydrated and well fed, you actually have fill your stomach with water(not just 1 little can) and then absorb the water into your system. This is your only priority as a fresh spawn. After you've hydrated, you need to worry about energy and start filling your stomach with food and process that food into energy. This is not about opinions, you can either learn these pretty basic gameplay mechanincs or you can continue to complain about mechanics you don't fully understand. We're actually trying to help you here, but if you refuse to listen, well... then go ahead and stress about getting the same thirst and hunger warnings over and over again. Me, I eat ahead of my hunger and when I eat, I eat a can or two and then I don't worry about eating for an hour or two. Stop snacking and start eating.

You have to have enough water and food in your system to regenerate health yourself. Make sure you eat a lot of food and lots of water. Your stomach can contain 4000 units of food/water. When your stomach digests water it goes into your body's water storage(can hold 4-5000 units) and digested food goes into your energy storage(can hold 20000 units). When you have about 3000-3500 units of water and energy in your system, you will begin regenerating blood and health. Otherwise you have to find a friendly person, who will give you Saline.

You get sick from over eating, rest your tummy and you should feel better. Next time mind your manners and chew your food properly.

While I'm getting my fill of DayZ and took a much needed break, I started browsing the Steam sales for something to blow my disposable income on and I seriously couldn't find anything. Then lightning stuck from a clear blue sky, Rocket, I think you've taken this zombie genre as far as you can. Sure, go ahead a complete development of the Standalone, but when I say: "Imagine these new and awesome DayZ standalone mechanics in a Western theater," don't you feel totally hyped too? You could be the one, giving us, the PC master race, a game like Red Dead Redemption, only we get to loot our badly damaged ponchos and decide if we want a cross draw holster or a derringer up our pristine sleeve. You just substitute the zombies with ponies and add a few tepees to Takistan and voilá, you got yourself another success on you hands. Do the math man, I'm telling you, cowboy's the new zombies.

Cool thing about DayZ, you have to find your own purpose for surviving day after day. The challenge isn't to be friendly to new players, the challenge is to be friendly to new players and still stay alive.

It's insane that a survival game rewards suicide.

Seriously though, if you die in your spawn zone, you need to respwn there again. Better yet, spawn suicides and anyone, who died within the first 10 minutes on Skalisty.

Okay I think we can finally conclude that DayZ players are all fashion victims, they clearly dress to kill.

Everything that happens to you in DayZ, should be considered an learning experience. Especially your mistakes and deaths. First priority should always be to take care of your physical needs.

My bad, by "headlights", I kind of thought he simply meant the light beam from the flashlight. I guess I browsed a little bit too casually this time.

Since the spawn points just moved east in last patch, player behavior is probably changing a bit. Berezino hospital and North East Airfield used to be relative quiet destinations, but I haven't played enough to notice the new trends. Just remember safety is a relative term and sometimes safety is just an illusion. I remember playing the mod and as the evening truned into night, people started disconnecting and going to sleep. We were two teammates left and there were only two other players remaining on the server. In the middle of nowhere, in a forrest far from any interest points, we ran into the two only other players. No one got killed, but all of us got a big surprise.

Raise weapon or similar. Also look for headlamps in bars and pubs.

You also start the game without a M4, backpack, aviator sunglasses and medical supplies. Thirst will get you kickstarted into survival mode, as your start off you have to attent to your primary needs first. After that you can worry about highend tactical gear.

Is you drink disinfectant spray, the "healthy" status should disappear fairly fast.

Remember to use the modifier ALT to taunt with both hands.
