Tactical reload. In a lull in the fight, you replace a halfused magazine with the last of your full magazines in your chest rig. Whenever you come across ammo on the ground in ArmA, dump the last magazine in your inventory to get rid of the spent magazines. Automatically filling up your magazine, everytime you reload COD style is equally unrealistic, as not being able to unload ammo into another magazine, I guess it's an engine or priority limitation. You can't go into detail with every aspect of the game and still hope to release it in a near future.

What's fair is that the rules are pretty clear. You pay for the server, not for bypassing the rules.

Some of us players have low income backgrounds and would feel included if the DayZ designers could create some new textures for canned goods, these could easily be added to food loot tables and even thought they'd probably have a markedly lowered nutritinal value than baked beans, I'm sure my player segment would really appreciate canned cat and dog food.

Well whatever, if you prefere to jump into a lake after sprinting for the last 60 seconds go ahead and drop your gear to the bottom. If you don't like to lose all your gear, take a moment to rest before you jump in.

Did you walk crouched? Anyways as soon as you switch to swimming ou should fill your bottles and return to shore. IF you lose it as soon as you switch to swimming, you can move close to your dropped gear, kneel uder water and with a little patience, get everything back.

You don't lose your backpack in the water, you drop it yourself, automatically to avoid drowning. You only drop it yourself if you're swimming for too long. Swimming with full gear drains your stamina in 10-20 seconds. If you sprint to the lake, run/walk counched, you're already spending your stamina, before you even start swimming. If you start swimming without any stamina, you drop your junk instantly. Rest before swimming, also only go swimming with adult supervision.

Don't try to aim for headshots while you're out of breath. -Right click to use iron sights, hold right click to zoom in while using iron sights. -However holding right click is also tied to Hold breath option, which makes your aim steady for 1-2 seconds, after that you need to release right button, otherwise your hands start shaking.

Use your comman/period keys to change channels. Type rather than use voice, if you use voice, use direct channel, which is unreliable most of the time and can only be heard by players very nearby. ;) Speaking in Side, Group, Command, Global Channel broadcasts your voice loud and clear all across the server, everyone can hear you very loud, which can be a great annoyance, especially because listening for zombie moans, shots from the next village or nearby bandit footsteps is an important aspect of the game. Use your comma/period keys to select the blue side channel and ask your questions there. Friendly survivors will usually happily answer any questions or requests for help, but if people continue to treat you as shit, the server has probably developed some kind of elitist asshole culture and isn't worth playing on.

Their name wont be displayed in the kill message, their name wont be displayed on their character model. Our mouths will only pass these words: "Someone was killed."

Double-tap Ctrl to lower your rifle, press fire once to raise it, press fire again to shoot. Or press G(gear), look in the left window of your inventory and press the left arrow at your magazines <STANAG> untill all are dropped on the ground, press the right arrow and pick all the magazines up again. Your ammo count in the corner should show 0/6 instead of 30/5, now you need to press reload before you can fire.

Not without a certain percentage of lol, would fit perfectly into the meme thread.
