Snort if you decided to do what's right, make sure you do it right. These sissies are always ready to disconnect, so when you decide put these sick dogs out of their missery, make sure you hit each target fast, hard and several times. If you use the DMR get the zeroing right and score atleast two headshots on each sick puppy, if you're getting close up and personal with something less powerful or automatic, go full-auto and 1 full magazine on each target. You are carrier of the light, do it for humanity.

Might be a guy with hackerskin who have pressed respawn to spawn at a better location, leaving his corpse at the beach with a socalled Navy Ship hat or whatever you call it. Seen it in other games, change your hat/playermodel to a tank/house/tree to make it hard for other players to actually hit your tiny hitbox.

I'd prefere to DayZ to be one packet, whether it's a DLC for ArmA3 or a standalone similar to Take on Helicopters. Noone of those hat DLCs please or pay to unlock choppers and NVGs.

I like to mix it up a bit, I feel pretty confortable about using road flares, chemlights and flashlight, but daylight's a bit more relaxed on my eyes.

If you're find lots of assault rifles and no matches, maybe you're searching the wrong places. I hardly ever find any assault rifles in supermarkets, but plenty of matches. Just a thought. -

Didn't the Murder by Numbers thread did show an increase in bandits and murders, before the forum wipe. Bandits increased from 12.something % to 17.something %. Murders increaed from 2.something to 3.something. ? -

NVGs enhance star light 50.000 times. Stars does not provide enough light in themselves. Overcast nights are brighter, because of light reflected from towns beyond the horizon. Unless the powerplants stop working, then there's no more city lights to reflect off the sky. Use artificial lights intelligently, untill the moon rises. Don't run around holding road flares, which can be seen several hundreds meters away and attracts zombies. Extinguis chemlights if you hear shots nearby or discover traces of player activity, dead corpses. Use flashlights carefully, only to flash your surroundings quickly and to locate loot in the dark. It's a learn to play issue. -

There's only an excuse for accidentally clicking respawn once. After first time you really should be sufficiently motivated to paying the minimum amount of attention to avoid killing yourself off again.

Squares are marked depending on how far you've zoomed in/out on the map. Single digits = 10x10km. Double digits = 1x1km. Triple digits = 100x100meters. Coordinates are posted in 6-digits, if you need to be more exact use the numpad. "The sniper is located at 065045 numpad 6."

ArmA3's inventory system looks like it's going to deliver a much needed facelift. The inventory system is both a engine limitation, but also a conscious gameplay decision, making player manage their limited inventory space, holding a can of beans in one hand and an extra DMR mag in the other, going: "Shit, shit, shit... what do I take?"

The map size is perfect for 40-50 players. If you want "alive" head for Cherno, Elektro, Stary Sobor or any airfield. If you want to survive, stay away from mentioned areas. I also have a problem with the concept of Chernarus being "alive", since 98% of the population aren't.
