Whenever you drop an item, never use the "Drop" button, unless you're throwing stuff away. Instead use the left part of the inventory window. Press the left arrow < Water Bottle > at the item you want to drop. This way the item is still active in your inventory window after you've dropped it. If you're really smart, tilt your camera down before you do it, then you can confirm the items are on the ground, when using the left side of the inventory window. Also reward me some beans for being so patient with you.

It's bugged if you try to throw from prone, while holding a handgun. If you do, you'll complete the throwing animation, without throwing the actual item, then rise to a crouched position and complete the throw. By this time people are busy going WTF?! and has released the mouse button, resulting in either dangerous situations or death.

What I did was being stuck on an island, someone stole my boat while I was offline. So after searching the beaches for a boat, I recalled this new feature(being able to disable this feature). I dropped my rifle, ammo, backpack, binoculars and NVGs on the beach. Placed a can of beans in my inventory and took a 60 second swim. When I realized dropitem had been disabled, I pickup my shit and swam from Skalisty Island back to the mainland. You don't lose your handgun, you handgun ammo belt or stuff in your toolbelt.

It's a feature, a feature that can be disabled. [93958] New: Dropping items while swimming can be disabled with "enableItemsDropping = 0;" in description.ext On the server I usually play on it's disabled, which I dislike. On servers where it's still enabled, you can swim for about 20-23 seconds, unless you're already depleted all your stamina and will lose all your shit instantly.

I'm pretty sure an imaginative guy as OP, who can justify exploiting for one reason, can also justify exploting combat loggin in PvP.

DayZ went from a survival mod to a murder mod. Probably a combination of a few things. Removal of the bandit skin, removal of side chat and people learning from live streams to pwn deathmatch. I used to get a kick out of helping new players, passing it forward, now I just avoid everyone. I'm primarily a coop player, the ArmA community has a few of those, but that doesn't mean I'm completely clueless about how to kill people effectively. DayZ used to be more than PvP, but with the removal of the bandit skin, everyone I meet is kill on sight.

Duping isn't much different than spawning in a crate on the beach. Lot of non-hackers cutting corners where they shouldn't.

You wont be able to run that mod in DayZ.

In Berezino a female shot a crossbolt at my face, but she missed by a few inches. I shot back at her with my 203 40mm high explosive, I also missed by a few inches. Use a crossbow you better nail those headshots, with a 40 mike mike, you can give and take a bit. ;)

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but doesn't DayZ like have a 100-200.000 copy head start on WarZ? Also are you guys getting some kind of gold advance for theWarZ marketplace for spamming WarZ threads in the DayZ general forum or something? Like you know, whoever spams the DayZ forum with the most rendered WarZ screenshots, can buy all the permadeath bypasses and weapon upgrades in their goldselling market place?

Because not being able to select your respawn location by spamming respawn makes death a little more punishing and give players yet another reason to live.
