Found a tent with two AS50 TWS. Dumped the entire content of the tent behind a nearby tree and saved the empty tent. Thought of keeping the AS50s never crossed my mind.

What is your Character's D&D alignment?
dallas replied to Robert-_-Frost's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Chaotic disorganized. -
Congratulations, I bought you a scarf, I really hope you like it.

At the moment humanity is just being reintroducted after it was reduced to nothing in DayZ, for the last couple of weeks new and old players have been lead to believe that the goal of DayZ is not survival, but murder. So most friendlies are usually living isolated in the wilderness and avoid human contact, while other players deathmatch in the populated areas. This will take long time to change and right now you're better off treating players as less-intelligent, well-armed zombies.
-
For weeks humanity hasn't had any value in the game, humanity is slowly being reintroduced in the newest build, but KOS culture is firmly established as the only way of playing, this will take a long time to change. Whenever you enter a city, whenever you encounter a player, keep moving and keep putting solid obstacles between you and others.

DayZ Game (not mod), a way to make playing with friends better.

Wow I'd love for people using GPS to pop up on the maps as easy mode player makers for other GPS users to see. :) -
Ghillie suits = bandits. Roger ;)

^^Andrej I use tinypic, I upload and the I copy the url where the imgage tags are already included. If you like to play both styles you have to balance your humanity. Kill someone, take a break form killing. Kill someone new, take another break. Since you're sniping from cover, noone will see your bandit shemagh anyways.

Atm the culture is KOS. This wont change overnight.

Probably my prefered silent rifle, might not be the best, but I like it. I like the Crossbow too, for it's catch and fetch mechanics.
-
I'm up for scalping some bandits, in the name of humanity ofcause. Bandit indicators are actually great for PvP, when a peaceful guys like me, are ready to rock and roll!

As the chairman of the official Post-chernarus carebear federation, I can assure all of you we'll find something new to whine about. Untill we do please use the people whining about losing humanity for killing unarmed players in justified selfdefense. Rocket did say he was nervous about removing the skin and that it could be rolled back, if it needed to. It needed to. With the removal, not only trust, but also mistrust was removed from the game. There was no reason for trust or mistrust, because 90% of all encounters resulted in kill on sight. There's a big difference between trust and mistrust. Like there's a difference between feeling mistrust and feeling homicidal. Back in the bandit days, even the naive would soon learn to not trust other survivors blindly.
-
Didn't you need to have a humanity of 2500 to be a firendly survivor?
-
Please, DONT add a bandit-indicator in this patch

Killing somebody is a big taboo, even if someone's forcing your hand, justifying selfdefense. If you continue to place yourself in situations where you have to kill scores of people in selfdefense, it's going to affect your psychology. You might even start to make up excuses for using selfdefense: "He looked like he was going to kill me, he was unarmed, but it was only a question of time, before he would have found a weapon, yo honor!" -

Probably got bored with killing regular players, wow bravo! -
I don't think the beta patch disables itemdrop, it's up to the individual server to do it.
-
I believe that If you provide picture evidence that you indeed dropped the weapon, Rocket will personally refund you 5000 US Dollars. Unconfirmed at this point.

Yes and no. Yes as in no.
