I think this game is doing great for alpha, I came here from Elderscrolls Online... What a joke. 9 months of subs for a broken game that was supposed to be a finished AAA MMO to find out we were paying monthly to beta it for console/freemeium re-release. This looks like more my genre anyway and if they achieve half the stuff the could with this foundation I'll be here for awhile.

I have a feeling results would vary greatly on that one. I haven't needed 7.62X39mm for awhile but I'd still quickly quietly check some army tents at night I think. I'd like the walk/jog to be a smother toggle because that guy jogging right up to yo to talk or not is off putting. Ir's really tough to guess intentions out of voice range if everyone is running like a crazy person.

I don't know if it's part of the upcoming stamina systems but I coincidentally switched to slow walking most of the time after the stomach/drinking changes. It takes me way longer to get anywhere but it seems like I'm getting really good realistic endurance with my energy and hydration covering more distance on less.

I'm a Canadian with no interest in hockey ( the only one?) but yeah, the hockey stick looks funny. Is it a viable weapon? I've never tried it.

I got killed and apologized to when the guy got around to reading that I had "identified myself" he told me you NEED a mic for this game so I dug mine out and it's a much better experience. I got my mint Logitech 350 at a swapmeet for 50 cents, I thought it was just headphones and didn't look very hard at it at that price so I was pleasantly surprised when I got to the truck to look at my bargain. -

Go into filters and set max ping to 0. I think you might have got help faster in troubleshooting too. -

If you have the gun and they don't and your're going with a friendly/neutral playstyle be forceful and confident. "Hey! Stop, sit the fuck down and talk to me before I have to kill you..." If someone bolts without saying anything I don't know if they're running away or running for cover they get blasted. You need a mic for this game because a geared player is going to want to make the decision to shoot or not in less time than it takes you to type "friendly". -

From what I'm reading in it's un-optimized state the game has to be tuned by you to your rig specifically. I'm playing on an old low end machine with an overtaxing video setup 3X32" TVs at 3840X720, I just started at minimum and kept dialing things up until it got too choppy then dialed back a bit. The funny one is this last patch has allot beast gaming rigs running like dogshit yet my 6-7 year old X2 Athlon rig got better. -
I'm at 200+ hours in a little over a month and still finding new places on the map. I've recently changed m "w" key to slow walk and been just strolling around the edge of the map. I'm dying to see my first interaction just wandering like I'm a tourist in the apocalypse.

I used to do re-textures for the Clancy series like Ghost Recon and found this surplus store website, cant remember the name. They had decent sized swatches that were easy to tile and scale... I guess the point is there were literally hundreds if not a thousand different Soviet block camos.

The sks breaks down into about 8-9 pieces (more if to remove the gas piston) with the tip of one bullet as the only tool required. You can put it back together with the barrel/action as one unit, the stock, and the magazine but it only takes up 2/3 it assembled length.

Doesn't using a gun trigger more of them to spawn around you as well? Either way if you use a gun around them and don't move, like far away they just keep coming and coming. -
M4 and Gorka to boot, that was the games fashion sensors fixing your tacticool faux pas. I mean really, an An American gun with Russian gear? Who does that? You might as well mix tartans or wear red pants and a pink raincoat.

Exactly what mine was like before, got killed by zombies so many times trying to swap my gun back to melee. Mine still hiccoughs occasionally but its just my computer is maxed out just playing the game and anytime windows tries to do something...

How much difference does gear really make? If you see someone first you get to make the most important decisions almost regardless. I was offered a kitted m4 in trade for my truck and like I told him I'm just gonna die and loose it. Gave him and his friends the truck and headed on foot towards the closest truck spawn I hadn't been to. What happens between having no stuff and having stuff again is the real point of this game. Compared to other hoarding intensive games I've played this live in the moment feel due to the gameplay or glitches is very fluid and immersing to me.

I'm playing on an old low end machine, salvaged upgrades, box store vid card, 20lbs of cat hair in it, windowed across 3 screens at 720X3840. I'm used to playing down to the low teens for fps and carefully changing and disabling graphic setting either through the game or with notepad to get what I feel is "playable". I'm currently laughing my ass off and enjoying the hell out of this because whatever you did made my game play smoother at increased settings. Weapon swapping is less clunky by allot as well, didn't crash before, doesn't crash now. Not saying this to be a dick, maybe one of the 40 computers they tested on was like mine and it worked well.

Sanity Check - Does ATLAS Bipod exist in 0.53 stable?

It would be common to put a bipod on the ARs with a 75rd drum to use them as a fill in for a lmg/saw. Not being able to use it on a scoped Mosin or sks is kinda weird and probably an oversight. -
Funny, my system is an old barebones X2 Athlon and a 2006 mobo and my performance improved and no crashes before and after. I spent most of the day in a truck yesterday, like 12 hours and my 4 hr restart server was restarting ever 45mins to 2 hours randomly. I did have to run for up to half an hour to catch up to my truck after re-logging countless times but no resets or unexpected deaths.
