.55 Just Few Questions If Anyone Knows.
BCBasher replied to LoveAffair's topic in General Discussion
1. I'm pretty sure I have seen one cooking pot but no matches since Tuesday. 3. Dying to know that too, been eating apples and tomatoes for hydration because I'm unclear if purification tabs are working. -
I've found random loot, water bottles, canteens, gardentools, at the pumps at least as far back as .53.

Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
BCBasher replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
There is some desync going on with them so it's like you're shooting right through them if they're too close. You have to backpedal and not get cornered to take them down at closer ranges with a pistol or smg. -
Look at how vocal the "playerbase" as in the 1-10 post posters crying like a bunch of little bitches about how .55 ruined their welfare pvp fuck fest on the coast. The devs should stick to the lore and the roadmap and if a player doesn't like the game they are making... don't let the door hit you in the ass when you leave. As far as sub stations, they don't make power anyway they just split the power coming from the plant and step the voltage down from HV which caries over great distance better to usable voltages that our appliances use.

Do Zombies Dream Of A Good Nights Sleep? (Zombie feedback)
BCBasher replied to SmashT's topic in General Discussion
These new zombies are a hell of allot better now you can use stealth one them. Before .55 they could see you from 1000m crouched inside a building on the second floor in a room with no windows. -
And/or you're in the recovery phase, congrats. As far as I recall there are three phases to the sick cycle the 2nd one being the worst, now you're recovering the dehydration should be less.

I'm comfortably inland watering my pumpkin patch with those tears.

I've had the infected from stitching way too many times and never see "bowels" or "nausea" in any of the messages "fever" and "itching" yes. For realism sake which I believe they're shooting for bowels would be from eating or drinking something bad in most cases. I'm genuinely curious about how this disease/health system is going to pan out, I was so proud of myself going to ground with water and food and getting through my first infection without falling unconscious. I think the symptomatic diagnosis and prompt, proper treatment is going to get more important. Wasn't saying you're wrong, just having some fun armchair doctoring with a second opinion.
-
Infected doesn't get my the "my bowels" mesage, it "my wounds feel itchy" or something to that effect. If you were reasonably healthy to start with you can ride out the infection or food poisoning, this sounds like the new Cholera added from drinking dirty water. Just coming back from Mexico recently I know you drink the water and your bowels will start rumbling?
-
There's a few really good explanations on youtube of the health disease system. Not sure if they're completely up to date but explain how it works. If you're at full healthy, energized, hydrated it still takes quite awhile and lots of water and food to get through the infection you'd get from stitching yourself with a sewing kit.
-
Not to mention deserters and the last surviving military making "last stands" or "farmer Bob" finding a better boomstick or tac-vest at one of said last stands and keeping if for his. I think there should be completely random loot spawns in the middle of nowhere maybe with an accompanying corpse like you would find in a Fallout or a Elder Scolls game with the positioning of the body hinting at the story of their last moments.
-
The zeds agro radius as far as noise is pretty small right now. If you stay crouched shoot and re-position quickly you can make short work of them. I prefer guns to melee anyway and have been having a blast (pun intended) with my Mosin/LRS and CZ75/suppressor.
-
Good, I respect your decision to fuck off.
-
It's because they can't scrounge up enough food within 2 minutes of spawning to get "healthy/hydrated" and a set of welfare gear and start duking it out in pink raincoats with brooms. I've seen so many sub 10 post posters going on withe the same sob show in the last couple days it's hilarious. I hope they go back to COD or BF or whatever repetitive kill, die.... game they slithered in from.
-
I hope they migrate out of these forums with their "no moar lootz, zombys is hard nao, give us back are peeveepee..." shit.

Tents have now become more important than ever
BCBasher replied to nudelwalker's topic in General Discussion
Are we going to get any official word one when this is going to be sorted? I was fine with the way it was working yesterday and have a 4 day weekend and shitty weather here. I've been waiting all day for some good news so I can log in and start recovering from this morning setback. -

I was fine with the loot scarcity but this is fucked up. If we can't store shit this isn't going to work. One hour at the apple tree to get going sure but I'm not interested in playing apple picker sim for an hour every time I log in. -
Don't forget lead acid batteries ( 1 or 2 not sure if they're 12 or 24v) and the weight of said thousands of rounds of .308 ammo.

As it should be, Cheranus looks just like my rural island. Us country folks have all kinds of neat stuff stashed for zombie apocalypses or what have you.

Damn, my canteen and pet bottle were in mine too. Didn't even think of that until you mentioned hydration. I had a full police uni with blue boots and everything too that'll be sorely missed. I've got some family stuff upstairs and cant hide in my cave right now and test this stuff, anyone got the dirt on if it safe to start again with the advantages of forced persistence? -

Is that a question or a confirmation? I lost mine because of the persistence wipe they announced, now I'm trying to come up with a game plan to recover. -

Fuck really? I'm scared to log in. Update, yes they're gone, well fucking played guys *slowclap* My spare gun aks74u, 2 mags, 4 boxes of ammo, 5 changes of clothes, 2 days food, all my farming shit *poof*. At least I'm central to a bunch of small towns but it'd be nice to have back the mosin bullets an 9mm shells I used to clear the the surrounding small towns the first time. -

Didn't find any in 250+ hours before .55. Found 2 in 10 hours since. Both damaged civilian tents. Both on the same low pop public server. -

I've got two working ones, pitched the from a right click in my backpack. -
He's not the only one, .55 is the beginning of the game I expected it to be. Let the haters rage quit and take their toxic behsviors with them.
