The bit I've tried I figure why bother, sure the infected should alert to the point the projectile was the closest to them but they should not run right to the origin point of the shot as if you just went loud.

Nothing to investigate, they're telling you what you want to hear so you buy the game and tell your friends to. It is literally changing a few numbers in the code snipet I shared. Nope, you do not get a big bang, you get a small sharp snap when a supersonic bullet passes after being fired from a suppressed weapon. Not saying I've tried id because it's super illegal here but... Firing supersonic from a suppressed weapon unless you're very close to the gun you will not hear the gun go bang and if you do it doesn't sound like a gunshot anymore just a pop and whizz sound as the bullet passes if it's reasonably close to you, it is way harder to tell where the shot originated especially if there's background noise and flat surfaces to propagate and echo.

Seen both this week, also had one come in through a closed downstairs door in the newish dilapidated big old "barracks" building by the range at Tisy yesterday on my LAN server. It's common if there's latency, if the server thinks the door is open even though your client is displaying it closed the server wins but I shouldn't have that with a 20ms ping. -

Yeah, I always carry a compass but orienteering gets harder the farther you get from landmarks to verify your actual location. On the upside the 200sqkm+ of playable map is one of the biggest ones out there.

Look at my post count versus reactions buddy, we only had one reaction when I made most of those, 101% positive? I used to be pretty in the loop until I got tired of being lied to and told "we're working on it", you guys will figure it out too. I showed the fucking code from my EXP version which will be your next update and explained how it works. Put M4 in the search and read post from 2 years ago, the PC PVP crowd already beat that dead horse to death an got told it was a feature, good luck guys.

We call it debug you're off the playable map to the north or west. People used to build camps and hide vehicles out there, there was a fix to make stuff stored out there despawn way back, not sure where that's at in the current game.

The lack of loot if you're talking tier top guns is because the count of of those guns in storage on the map equals the threshold where they don't spawn, duping or not this threshold will be hit after a some up-time if we have persistent storage and server hopping. Like those lines of code I posted say, if there are 10 m4s on the map spawned, and in containers total, none will spawn to replace, if they up it to 50 they will still all end up hoarded, it will just take a little longer.. It's an easy fix to make them available but it makes the tier system pointless if rare items are not rare? The reason it's not fixed is because fixing it for the complainers who want it ti be fair doesn't work with core game mechanics like scarcity. Don't worry you guys will get mod servers eventually and can just join one where you spawn with a good pew-pew stick or find them on the beach, PC mod servers have that already.

I rage quit a year and a half ago because I was tired of waiting for the game to be done soon, thought it was funny that they made big progress in what they're charging for 1.0 without even temperature and diseases we had in the .6X versions. As far as your OP the m4 and akm can't be rare if everyone can get one. You know as well as I do how they're acquired and handled, how would you fix the problem and still have them be rare?

You must be new? The devs say a lot of shit like "soon", lol. That says count ones in storage against the number allowed on the map, nothing to look into, if they bump the total allowed the extras will still just end up hoarded. If they don't count ones in storage, the amount horded will get huge and you might find one but probably get killed by the hoarders trying to. They are supposed to be rare but hoppers and clans get them all on public servers.

Are you kidding, I used to watch barracks for an hour with my binoculars from cover to make sure it's clear before sneaking in to grab a vest not even giving a shit about the leet guns and have some kid server hopping ghost in or out. How is that hardcore survival and how do you suck less against a teleporting enemy who wasn't in my instance of the game minutes before and gets Scotty to beam him up when it doesn't go his way? -
Oh cool, we used to have something like that with player bodies, guns, and bags at the base of trees, nice to see years later they still haven't got their shit together. *shrug*

In a tree or in the woods beside a tree? This is an old pic but we used to have where they would creep on restarts or if you went out of and came back into draw distance, the truck second from the right eventually ended up stuck in the tree beside the back wheels.

This, it just filled blood volume last time I checked no mater what in game tip or wiki said. The bit I've played recently hydration goes form red to dead in a hurry especially if you panic and sprint around trying to fix it.

I'm playing the PC EXP version right now and we have a taste of disease again, of course it's broken as usual. Taking antibiotics to cure a disease (icon no symptoms) stunts your blood regen until you take an actual injury.

Think you've got to say Bohemia three times to actually summon them. PC guys have been asking for a solution for that for years, pretty sure BI heard us ask, we got, log in timer, that's it. Not sure if console guys have the option of private hive servers as in one character locked to that server, that's what I used to do when there wasn't and EXP build to play. -
No recommendations here, this is the only game like it I own or have heard of in concept anyway. The Idea is great, if it had have the stuff it was claimed to have "soon" which it might eventually whenever that is? Starting to seem like a bunch of teenagers smoking dope talking about cool ideas and when they get the money to make the idea, they just buy more dope and come up with different ideas, probably the management equivalent of that. I think there used to be a joke about the devs spending our money on Lambos?
