You know as well as we do when, the experimental branch especially is not guaranteed available in any way, go play stable is the only solution and we all just have to deal.

That's exactly what I think too but unfortunately the playerbase that disagrees only logs in, signs up, chimes in to say stuff like "it's not fair that apple picking gets in the way of my pew-pew".

Can't poison a live deer afik, other patches have had cooked meat make you sick though. If you can repeat it its a bug, last time that was happening you could eat raw meat through it though because you couldn't get sick while already sick also worth testing if that's the case.

The meth/crack heads are migrating in to the point where we have a motor home driving around at night dropping off "squads" to go rob sheds and stash tools on the railroad tracks for pickup later. It's not surprising predators sniffed out the huge elderly population and our laid back ways. Have a feeling the incidents were these people and or some of our indigenous people going hard on a head start to the long weekend. During the day it's so clean here you can eat off the streets and the crime hasn't made it to my neighborhood yet. Our house has literally had the front door locked 3 times in the last 30 years when the whole family went to Mexico.

There was a tripple stabbing with one fatality and a separate hostage situation in my small town of 3000 yesterday. I wasn't involved in either but my town pride swelled that someone(s) took the initiative to get Chemainus on the map.

Well, now I know what I'm not doing Sunday evening. It's a long weekend here, gonna try and drink "all the beer" instead I guess.

I don't know about that, I do some of my best "testing" after a few beers. I let my second oldest son have his first few drinks on a guy's night playing DayZ, it ended with testing if serpentine and 600ms pings gave us the ability to dodge bullets. It didn't, good times.

They're not just in cities in .60, I've lived on Skalatisy almost entirely and found them in five or more areas on this island alone. I also encountered them in small towns, on the highway (Solchiny gas station area), and in the woods on the way there. I would like to see hunted and farmed food being at least on par with canned food and canned food to get more scarce. Chickens providing a reasonable amount of calories for one person and big game producing many steaks that could support one person for a long time or feed an entire squad. I picture a DayZ world where you could be challenged living off the land solo and even the KOS clan kiddies had to protect a "provisoner" to support their shenanigans.

I took some time off work and played the last two experimental cycles 10+ hours a day seven days a week. I haven't got in any decent hours up until this week, Once I have my essential cowboy hat and wellies I stop yoloing only die to glitches.

So I spent the better part of my day doing a job on a small farm seeing little rust coloured chickens off in the distance, though about DayZ quite frequently. The chicken killing simulator aspect has been pretty entertain g as I run laps of my little island seeing what loot respawn looks like. So what I've seen this week is you can still hover in a small area improving and fortifying your stats, I can't surplus canned food like I have been able to previously. If they dial back the multiple raincoat with food in the pockets at boats I wouldn't have survived and thrived on Skalatisy without farming. The only reason to explore is still to seek leet pvp gear or for the sake of exploring as far as I can tell the CLE didn't force me. Was looking forward to going all axe murder on a chicken this evening, Seems the servers are going to be down for the evening though :(

I have a three screen spanning setup that works great with all three in DayZ and ArmA. To play games without support for ultra wide ratios on one screen I always have to set them to windowed mode because it goes to my left screen otherwise no matter which I have set as primary. If your buddy has tree matched monitors try spanning all three or whatever AMD calls their system, I can zig-zag running diagonal and see behind me on one peripheral and in front of me on the other. It's awesome for corner camping and circle strafing too.

God, if the servers weren't so packed I'd be dying to find a sedan and a mine to try hitting it full speed on the northern highway. I believe you supplied the v3s last time I tried and it was interesting, sliding down a hill bouncing off trees like a pinball.

I'm guessing he knows how to deal with it, the point is character temp is out of whack. I've been swimming a bunch of times as a freshie and haven't got cold on swims that would have required a fire right after normally.

Found four or so, all a have been in the small rundown sheds with no door and horizontal boards that you can see through the gaps.

I'm the opposite, I just yolo it until I have my current persona dialed in then I get super cautious.

Does the database take some time to get it's shit together when they do a change? Logged back in to 3pp and my guy was where he was with the same items he had one or two logins prior. I picked up some stuff just as I got kicked one try, I had dragged it but it hadn't showed up on my character yet. On getting back in I had on the cowboy hat from a shed on the way to the raincoat that was at my feet by a boat with the items I's tried to move to the coat on the ground that hadn't shown up as I was kicked. I also tried climbing a latter and waiting to get kicked, I was safely on the ground at the bottom of a lighthouse ladder on relog.

So I hopped back and forth picking up 10 frames on 3pp in about the same place. I can't seem to stay connected to any of the few servers I tried this morning. I can open doors etc. as soon as I'm in but after 30 seconds to a minute I can move but not interact. I spawn back in and my location is correct. I first thought I was being disconnected and moving around just in my client but it's not a full rollback when I get back in. How is location data, door states, world/character inventory transmitted and stored?.
