So the AUS 1pp server got it's shit together overnight sometime. I wandered off my island late last night to check Kami for a red9 or anything cool and made my way around to the little camp fire circle at west side of new Tulga on another server. Ran down the valley I'm used to using to get up and down the hill to find it untouched, thought it'd be where they put the ski lift when I first heard about the planned changes. Got back to my little science corner to find... Barrel still there untouched, bear trap gone presumably despawned after half an hour? **edit** Anybody seen anything spawn or despawn? I think I have seen something spawn but never seen anything other than a campfire disappear. I'm using my second computer to test time until unconscious treading water as a freshie, I'll try and put an object in view when I (try to) do a control test on land.

Yeah I had a super smooth experience most of yesterday as the server load died down a little. I bet they're rushing to get out a borked patch for the weekend before quitting time today, lol.

Was waiting for that to come back, did the texture change when it was completely wrecked? Back before parts were introduced for vehicles and you could put spray cans in fires if you did it right beside a truck you could destroy it, it's texture would change and it would despawn. Later builds when explosions weren't available it seemed they would only do it if they were stuck in the map and wouldn't show a damaged texture or despawn while you were watching, only at resets I think.

That's an older video and I'm wiser now, I would have still started the same but handled my egress differently and sooner rather than thinking he was hiding in the bushes to respond with words. I accidentally cut the clip a second short, he hits me one more time and there was enough blood loss and shock to kill me.

Set a bear trap right before server reboot to see if they still disarm and degrade, my experiment and barrel happen to be on the one server that hangs up. Killed so many chickens today though, no idea why that's so fun for me but I would have paid $30 for just the Chenarus Chicken Hunter Sim.

Swam the entire East coast from Svetlo to Skalatisy with one quick stop to eat and drink, raised my rifle and just had a bit of the shakes. Met up with my other account and did a mic check, it works but I sound like a robot/throat cancer guy. Pulled a pint of blood with a first aid kit I found right before, traded my backpack and guns for the barrel my alt found when I got there and set about scouring the island. Got booted at the castle but before that found at least 4 powdered milk so a freshie would have no problem leaving the island wit green statuses. AUS 0-1 seems to be the server that's working for me today.

It's funny though I sprinted most of the West and North sides of the map and never got too hot. Now that the rain is back I'm longing for the panic of spawning fresh in a storm, I sat in a t-shit in the rain and watched tomatoes grow drenched and only got mild shivers so far. The infected aren't doing it currently, I miss when the environment could rightfully kill you.

So server reset is 1100 my time, or 1800 GMT? On the topic of player temperature I'm coming down the stretch on my biathlon, just swam from north side of Svetlo bay to the South end of Berizino one shot only getting "promptly cooling off" before I was booted. I like that you cant do inventory stuff swimming anymore but hate I cant check statuses. Wearing, Cowboy hat, raincoat, Gorka pants, wellies, hunters bag, and a leather vest with 10pc of hot meat when I left (cooked 5 and heated the rest to the hottest red using the last of my fire). Someone with more marathon swimming want to confirm I shouldn't have survived?

Because stuff isn't supposed to be persistent in debug yet certain changes to other things have broke whatever cleans up debug before. Some people had fun building gear camps and parking vehicles out there. I think it was at the end of .58 exp when the trucks could break but repaired themselves, I took a truck out north of Belaya Polana I tried jumping it to see if I could destroy it and get it to respawn. Had it off the map for days until a wipe as far as I recall

Does anyone know what the scheduled restart time is? I have a protective case I could spare to test persistence in debug if it's soon.

I got a little more than a few hours in, done almost 3/4 of the map's edge checking out of the way barns, sheds and houses and seen everything on your list except water bottles and canteens.

Uhm, you kind of need a legit Windows serial # for that, If I wanted to clean install 7 my box would run better but I'm just gonna let it die. There's a few local guys who refurb hp business machines that quoted me some decent prices on something more current with no vid or os as soon as my Saturday boss's falling gets shut down for fire season and we go back to full time residential work.

I do know this, I also know the PU takes up two horizontal slots in my bag but the Mosin make a good scope holder if nothing else. I'm shooting for doing a biathlon lap swimming much of the east coast and my hunters backpack and clothes are stuffed with steak, chicken, cereal, and water. *edit* spoke too soon about my fps, was back down into the teens 500m north of Novo, they did come back up as I passed. Have been closer to Berizino and Elektro and didn't notice the same drop though.

No it just seems like after you join a server I can never get back into that one, had it last version too. What I saw last night makes it look more like a coincidence than anything though, could not stay connected to the server "the group" was on but could play fine on sc02.

Tried step 2 and 3 and they're all good. Tried talking to two people with it as the default communication device, both we're talking to me and pleasant, would have responded to "is my mic working?" over and over. Switched to default device now but haven't had a chance to retry. Don't have TS but I think the server join situation has got to the point where I could stage and meet my second account when I get my login credentials off junior this evening. SC 02 seems to be the server that works for me, I'm logging back in in five to ten minutes at 86/0 moving east down the 0 line if anyone wants try and encounter me.

Lol, I'm carrying an empty Mosin for the optics no shooting nothing. My mic may or may not be working and the two people I've run into I've had good luck with putting my hands up and typing "no mic". Can someone with a working mic and Win7 check and see if their mic is the "default device" or "default comunication device" I switched mine to default but haven't had a chance to try it in game . It is showing levels in properties and recording to video on either setting.

There was an abundance of canned stuff in the raincoats puking out of the boats and tons of powdered milk at the lighthouse on almost every server I tried on. This build canned goods are turned way down as far as I can tell although I've still found some cereal and powdered milk. I'm Just east of Tisy doing a clockwise lap around the map sight seeing making my way back around to how it works this time. I'll bring seeds this time I guess, speaking of which they seem rarer and I've only seen tomatoe.

They're all full all the time but the trick is they're like a woman, If you politely say "may I enter you" over and over for anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours you eventualy get in!

It's weird, I'll join a server and get kicked over and over then I swap servers and it's fine. I've got no choice in where I call a home server though. I found two more bugged cows one stuck in haybales and the other doing that cool run around in circles thing the animals used to do. Rounded out the night with a nice brown leather vest and some hand crafted waterbags. Mad cows

Getting kicked off every server, goto validate and reboot my pc.

Working as intended, the torch was added to compliment the road flare as a craftable way to encourage other players to kos you while staying true to living off the land.

Found two cows at the base of Green Mountain got within striking distance with my stone knife before one ran, the others legs were stuck so chopped at it a bit then remembered my pickaxe and killed it. The cow and any chickens I've see seem kind of slow to react compared to earlier versions.

3800+ I think, my board is showing caps starting to go, my bios flashes 2007 when it boots, I don't think it's quite that old but close. I've got a lead on an i7 barebones with no OS or video as soon as my good job goes back full time.
