Quarry north of Severograd and the lumber mill in Karmanovka. The second is more out of the way than on the way anywhere and had more luck with it being there. Now you said your server has a lot of hoppers you might get luckier at a loot hotspot finding one a hopper abandoned. -
Not saying you're wrong but I got 5% out of the gas can per water bottle and 3% with a canteen, I figured it at 20l?

No that's almost exactly the point of early access alpha development, find exploitable mechanics, let them fix them. If they make a game that's very hard to figure out the "formula" through my own or online research I'd be a happy camper. I have a feeling it'll be very "balanced" catering to casual players though.

Not going to happen, my kids laptop is a little better than that one and struggles to get that standing in debug looking out at the nothingness. If you can adjust the ram shared to the video up to a 512mb or more you might get low teens stable which we consider "playable" but YMMV.

Cooking pot is 2 water bottles, tried that too. Haven't got in a truck in stable but am pretty sure I read the gauge still doesn't work.

Tossed a 2% roll of tape in a pond last Wednesday, it was still there on Sunday. Slowly making my way back there to see if it's still there. -
Follow the .58 stable thread for the best information, participate if you notice something and usually one of us will even try and repeat it or expand on it. Loot spawning mechanics are a big interest of mine and as far as I can tell the devs are going to great lengths to make it hard for us to figure out how it works which in my opinion is a good thing. I haven't really left the coast on stable but as far as I can tell the initial loot dumped into the world when it came online was far lower than anything I saw in exp and it's respawning way slower.

No new loot spawns at a reset, it's dynamic throughout the uptime. M4s specifically do not spawn at a rate of more than one every 4 hours, you pick up one and it's at least 4 hours until another should spawn at the earliest.

For what it's worth I tried comparing a pet bottle and canteen to a gas can, it's 20 pet bottles or 33 canteens. Someone in the stable .58 thread said it was I something like 4 gas cans to fill the truck so you're talking 80 pet bottles. Gas cans seem pretty common on the coast at the boats that spawn netting etc. I've found 4 or more so far.

Anywhere you see any other civilian guns. Civilian pistols have the highest priority, the Winchester the least likely civilian rifle to spawn. I didn't see a blaze all of exp and found 2 Winchesters within 10 minutes at the end of exp, it's all luck and looking around if you want any specific gun now. Hunting scope are in deer stands deer huts, loot there spawns, despawns, gets replaced regularly if you run a circuit of 5-10 of them you can get the scope pretty easy. They also have a good chance of a Longhorn to hold you over until you find your rifle. -
Judging by the two antiques we're using you're going to be lucky getting low teens for FPS staring into debug. Go in your bios and see how much ram you can share with the vid card but even at that your're probably going to be playing under 10 fps. Even my dual core desktop with a 2gig card plays at a solid 6-10 anywhere but in the woods or near the ocean with everything as optimized as I can get.

Not if the owners are resetting the persistence file. I'm playing on a private that's been holding it's persistence but it's getting worse and worse going near my stashes or when I get near others it seems. You get huge input lag, like 30 seconds or more trying to interact with inventory, wells, doors etc. when you are near stashes of even 50 items it seems now.

From what I've seen and read it might have been running to something. As far a I know the herds have some hierarchy and if the lead animal gets stuck the whole herd gets stuck with it. If an animal gets stuck and separated from the lead animal and rest of the herd it will run full retard to catch up if it becomes unstuck again. Was walking south from Tulga towards the pond by the tracks and saw a brown streak shoot past in front of me It was a lone deer trying to catch up with the 2 that were running in circles jumping off the rocks and another stuck in the neaby pond.

I don't know about spawning by water but do believe in the last status report it was mentioned that drinking was a part of their routine.

They can be anywhere since early .58 exp. The only place I've seen animals twice was in the fields just north-west of the Zlenogorsk military base deer one day cows another.

As it should be, get your squad together, do a heli hunt, run into other groups or players doing the same, interact and wow you're actually playing the game instead of inter-dimensional hopping loot shopping simulator.

My ping already sucks by the time the satellite shoots it back to the ground so it doesn't matter where I play. If you see a guy glitching around wearing a cowboy hat that'd be me and I'm cool. -

I actually said like the king of turd island, I suppose $80/month is a small price to pay for that title these days ;) I picked the first 1pp private that didn't have a ping kick and got lucky, DayZTV 1pp private and plan on making it my home until .59 exp comes out. -
My wife is left handed and watching her write is fucking creepy. No left handed should not be in the game because it's weird and probably a sin. Seriously though I remember when my brothers were playing paintball competitively and one brother who can't blink his right eye and learned to shoot left and right handed as a child preferring left when possible. It can actually give an edge in CQB type shooting being someone who peeks the "wrong side" of cover while exposing less of their body. I doubt they'll add it though.

They disarm and degrade one or two levels at reset. They also degrade in the same manner if disarmed.

Hand guards are broken currently even if you use a workaround with painting to get them on you cannot attach anything anyway. The truck spawns are not rotating and always at the same 15 or whatever places until taken, three I know are Msta, Severograd quarry, and Karmanovka lumber mill. Seen lots of map assets creeping as well notably the bow of the wrecked ship has sunk and you can drop down to the very front section but cant get out alive.

Getting shot = stay blurry or not stay blurry?

I kind of agree even though I have mine turned off, partially because I or anyone else can and the other part because it lowers load on my old computer. As far as being blurry or staying blurry I've never been shot but experienced a good amount of blunt force, shrapnel and concussion from explosions. You get hit in the face with stuff your eyes tear up it gets blurry, blood runs in your eyes it gets blurry, you get bashed in the side of the head eyes tear up blurry and tunnel vision. The blood loss causing you to go into black and white kind of varies from my experience. The most blood I ever lost caused varying tunnel vision and my eyes closing involuntarily almost loosing conciseness and blacking out for short periods but still moving and interacting with people but no memory of it. When panicked in what you believe is a fight for your life situation you don't see right, not sure any game could emulate this perfectly for every person but I think the post effects turned on is a half decent simulation. Without it being forced people will turn it off though. -

I had that at the northern military base except I had the upper hand, I loot barracks from back to front and close the door when I enter. Left the far room and saw the door was open so I rushed down and caught him with his back turned in the bathroom, his gun was on his back my shotgun was up and pointed at him. "hey, I'm right behind you but I'm cool. I'm going to close the door again and put my gun away okay?" Some quick small talk tell him all I'm looking for is a green vest and maybe an SKS. I walked out with a full smersh set an SKS and a hundred something rounds, left him to whatever else and wished him luck as I left and shut the door behind me. Could have killed him, it felt good not to have to.
