I guess "obvious" is relative, as I travel mostly across the north, Pobeda should have been obvious to me. Topolka Dam I may have passed once while racing north as a fresh spawn :P I'm curious to see all of them though, including that new one.

Oh duh. Thanks for the links, it's the first time I've been to them, the one I saw was definitely Pobeda. Were these in the last .55 experimental, or only this last recent version? I'm sure I would've seen this one.

With respect to spoilers I wont reveal too much but there's a new and fairly large wilderness camp in the north. :D Complete with enough zeds to keep a solo survivor busy for a while, I used all of my 15 repeater ammo cleaning them out and then had to finish with the axe. I almost went full double-rainbow when I saw the place, as it suddenly appeared in my normal loot-route! Very nice Senchi!

Found a 10 round .22 mag and some win308 ammo in a deerstand near Staroye today (.55)

I can confirm that the 10 slot attachable pouches are spawning too. Found one in worn condition way up at the northern convoy, then attached it to a pristine plate carrier. Combo now says 'worn'. A few zeds up north now too!

I stumbled upon the new camp/cabins near Novy Lug, complete with fire lookout tower, that new map addition looks great, I hope there's more. Also, I drank plenty of water from rivers without purification and no ill effects yet, when I get up north I'll try ponds and see if that does the trick!

I'd like to see one civilian rifle with a scope. If I found the CR527 and the mag then I might hold onto them a bit longer in the hopes of finding that rare scope.

Loot in each town is identical, each house/shed/car spawns about 5 of the same items, same color too (50 blue taloons in Stary Yar, 100 tactical bacons and 50 thermometers). Move into the next town and find 5 different items but 100's of them. Nearby military areas spawn the same civilian items as their nearby towns. The northern convoy had about 10 bananas, 10 blue child's backpacks, 10 pairs of the same glasses and no ammo. I logged out checked a different server, same location and same problem, just different items, this time only sickles, canned peaches, blue balaclavas and 2 flanged maces. -

Yep was on loaded server and it just crashed. Anyone else notice that loot is a bit odd? Lots of morphine injectors. Found lots of oranges, spaghetti cans but not much else for food. and fire extinguishers only melee ive seen. Also found a smersh vest in civilian garage :P -

I like this idea and I wonder if they could use those existing (placeholder?) deer feeders that are found in the woods. I don't think they serve any purpose that we can interact with now.

Yes definitely, the more hours I put in Ive noticed the more paranoid I've gotten. Scout a town with binocs for 10 minutes before heading in then a player pops out of shed! Was he peeing all that time? The more cautious I play the more I feel like I'm being watched too. On the other hand ... Stalking ... Following a player through a few towns without being noticed, getting close enough for an easy kill, then follow him into another town. That's a paranoid minigame in itself. I've been hoping devs would add a feature where you could throw stones that make just a bit of noise because the icon that pops up when you tap the mic is a dead giveaway. -

I found a pristine cleaver a few days back but I didn't keep it as I just use the stone crafted knife now (because 1 slot). The first and only cleaver that I've seen in .54 edit: 3pp/public/persistence on (if it makes any difference)

In .54 I haven't been able to cook carp in any of the combinations (cookpot, frying pan, gas stove, tripod, furnace). I'm far from the sea so I haven't tried sardines yet.

If a player charges me with a fire axe I'm taking the first shot, orange jumpsuit or not. I agree. Any system that helps you identify a target as hostile or non-hostile before contact would take all of the uncertainty (and some fun) out of it.
