How the new patch will bring Zombies back into the game.
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to de4dcert's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Well, there is no "flavor" when the zombies are watered-down shit. Heavens forbid that a zombie survival mod actually has zombies which are a threat, right? -
How the new patch will bring Zombies back into the game.
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to de4dcert's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
If the zombies are too much of a hassle for you now then obviously DayZ is not for you. You complain they hit through walls. So stay away from the few walls that they do glitch through and stick to the middle of the room. You complain they run for no reason. Really, that's a problem for you? If so then you clearly still haven't learned the proper tactics for staying unavoided. You complain they zig zag when they run. Now you're just making up stupid issues to gripe about. Do you want the zombies to just walk in slow, straight lines so you can just stand there and kill them with tin cans and whiskey bottles? Yeah, that really sounds like a good time. -
Hacker taking control of players?
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to darklynx's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
As opposed to building a character that will be left to die when the stand alone is released? -
Something to be aware of
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to Shadow Man's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
It's garbage? Blaming it on the tools but not on the people using them... yeah, very original. <_< -
enforced "friendly" on private server? wtf!
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to bfisher's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
You say stand alone shouldn't be mod-able or else it'll never be finished? Hmmm... so using your train of thought, I guess the DayZ mod (and all the 100's of other ArmA mods) should be removed right away so B.I. can finish ArmA 2, right? Oh, by the way, you're saying there's no underground in DayZ... guess the underground bunker in Namalsk really isn't there? -
DayZ Breaking Point Mod : Now with new Lingor Map Integration!
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to mr_seacucumber's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Is Lingor broke? The launcher states it's up to date, but when I just tried logging in, DayZ gave me an error message. Something about "cant play because of missing deleted file .ibr lingor" I ran the launcher again and had it verify my Lingor folder. Then after that I went and launched ArmA2OA and manually enabled the breaking point folders, rebooted A2, then closed out. Then launched the launcher and tried again, but nothing helped. I just got the same error message. -
enforced "friendly" on private server? wtf!
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to bfisher's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
And just exactly who are you to dictate these rules? Easy answer; you're a nobody. The day YOU start paying for THEIR server, then maybe you can set the rules in stone. What part of "private" is so hard to understand for all you people bitching about it? You are not playing on their server. You are not affected by what they're doing on the server. So why do these ignorant threads keep popping up? -

No Wiki for "unofficial" Weapons??
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to a222's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Did you try the shooting range? It doesn't give you the numbers, per se, but you can get hands-on time with the guns you're interested in so you can see their effective range, shots per kill, etc. -
Just one example of hacking on XBL. Took two seconds to find through Google. So just how hard did you try to research it?
-
You never experienced it so that must mean it doesn't exist? Maybe you should read up about jtag and reset glitch for the 360. Read up about the PS3's security key being public knowledge and it being used for custom firmware. Read up about hacked games, matches, lobbies on the console. If you want to say something doesn't exist, maybe you should first make sure that it actually doesn't.
-
Oh no... someone sounds mad because he can't play DayZ on his Wii.
-
Maybe you should go check out the console section in the BF3 forums and have a read through about all the child-admins who automatically kick/ban players who kill them. I mention BF3 on consoles because it shares a common interest with DayZ; that being players can rent their own servers. For me, I'd take the douche bag hacker who'd get himself banned before I'd take the console-kiddies who automatically ban you because they wanted the bicycle they just seen you on.

Combat loggers now get replaced with bots!
SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to Azrail (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Bs reasons? Sounds like your hate should be directed at your poor internet service and not the game. -
What the hell is going on with hackers?

In your opinion. -

SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to codeoverflow's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I know, right. Private hives are a joke. They offer better mods. They offer more maps. They offer more security. They cut out server hoppers. They can be rolled back if a hacker were to strike. Yep, private hives are a joke. <_< -
I hate that. I do it all the time in BF3. I want to reload my rockets but eject myself instead.

SkrooLoose (DayZ) replied to codeoverflow's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Really? That makes you "lol"? Oh well... as the saying goes; simple things please simple minds. So you say playing the mod as it was made is worse than playing with hackers. Why is that? Have you been banned one too many times for hacking? -

The way the zeds glitch hit now, they'll be pulling you out of the car before you even see them move. -

Yep; just like girls do, zeds can give you cooties. -
So and want a rare thermal L85 and rare scrambler... and you think that's balance? One person finds one L85 = can detect multiple people. One person finds one scrambler = only protects one person. So where's your logic coming from? Maybe you should take your own advice and go play ArmA if you want a military sim. The point has been made over and over and over... the majority wants DayZ to be what it's suppose to be; zombie survival.
-
Keep in mind that DayZ is only a mod for another game. So it's far from perfect. That just looked like some of the typical glitched movements given your position relative to the structure and other items/characters on the ground. You were bleeding heavily then knocked out and killed, and the engine was having a bit of an issue with the proper placement of your body. That resulted in the different animations and movements you seen.

With a statement like that, you obviously haven't been part of a good team yet, so you really shouldn't be speaking on their behalf.
