  1. You realize this map is huge right? Why on earth would you make EVERYTHING make you go slower... Too thirsty? Walk slower, Hungry? Slower, Hit by a zombie? Slower. wait 5,10,15, 20 minutes for your health to rise up so you can run at a normal speed? Are you serious? I have THOUSANDS of hours on this game, THOUSANDS , And this mobility thing is BY FAR the most POORLY ADJUSTED & ADDED IDEA EVER. Stamina? Sure why not. MAYBE, just MAYBE make it a little more realistic considering the map size. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE don't make EVERY mistake make your character run slower. You're literally trapped half the time if your character starts to hobble. How do these ideas get put to the drawing board and you don't SEE the flaws. Its MIND BOGGLING. MAYBE make the thirst meter more realistic, I'M NOT DYING ON THIRST EVERY 20 MINUTES IN REAL LIFE, WHO GAUGES THIS STUFF FOR CONTENT. PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE DARK AGES.

    persistence and Tents

as of 0.51? Sorry if this has been beaten to death with posts, I couldn't find a definitive answer. I found a tent, I was wondering if it's worth deploying and leaving gear in it, Or will it dissapear due to a random crash ect.
  3. I was playing and got disconnected from a server for having too high a ping, (so my character kept running forward for awhile until it D/C'ed.) *FIX THAT DEVS* So I log in 50ft ahead of where I D/C'ed and well SH!T, I'm stuck inside of a very large rock, After 20 minutes of trying to jump around, sprinting, and logging in and out near the edge of the rock to try and escape, I had an idea! Better yet, it even worked first try! So to escape the rock I hit my macro key for W (my auto run) I ran at the rock edge and unplugged my internet cord, Hoping it would make my character run until it D/C'ed. I logged back in and i was out of the rock several feet ahead! I'm sure holding down 'W' while unplugging your net cord will work just the same as my macro. I looked online for ways to escape rocks and didn't see any. So I figured I'd share.

Well I've officially teamed up with a weed smoker.

Clearly taken out of context, America is my example, Because it would fall under the guise of "A so called Great Society" Would it not? Where the eff do I start? It must be very VERY dark where you are, Because your head must be FAR, FAR, FAR up your hiney. (see how nicely I said that?) I could make this a mile long, But considering the ignorance of your reply, You don't take well to subversive thinking patterns. So I'll leave you with all this. The tip of the ice burg. Let's start with the US patent shall we? That they quietly acquired sum years ago. http://www.google.ca/patents/US6630507 http://www.leafscience.com/2014/02/23/5-must-know-facts-cannabidiol-cbd/ CBD effects: Antiemetic Reduces nausea and vomiting Anticonvulsant Suppresses seizure activity Antipsychotic Combats psychosis disorders Anti-inflammatory Combats inflammatory disorders Anti-oxidant Combats neurodegenerative disorders Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer Combats tumor and cancer cells Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant Combats anxiety and depression disorders http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/29/nida-marijuana-research_n_5737592.html http://mychronicrelief.com/cannabis-science/cannabinoids/ http://norml.org/library/item/introduction-to-the-endocannabinoid-system What Is The Endocannabinoid System? The endogenous cannabinoid system, named after the plant that led to its discovery, is perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health. Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks, but the goal is always the same: homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment. Cannabinoids promote homeostasis at every level of biological life, from the sub-cellular, to the organism, and perhaps to the community and beyond. Here's one example: autophagy, a process in which a cell sequesters part of its contents to be self-digested and recycled, is mediated by the cannabinoid system. While this process keeps normal cells alive, allowing them to maintain a balance between the synthesis, degradation, and subsequent recycling of cellular products, it has a deadly effect on malignant tumor cells, causing them to consume themselves in a programmed cellular suicide. The death of cancer cells, of course, promotes homeostasis and survival at the level of the entire organism. Endocannabinoids and cannabinoids are also found at the intersection of the body's various systems, allowing communication and coordination between different cell types. At the site of an injury, for example, cannabinoids can be found decreasing the release of activators and sensitizers from the injured tissue, stabilizing the nerve cell to prevent excessive firing, and calming nearby immune cells to prevent release of pro-inflammatory substances. Three different mechanisms of action on three different cell types for a single purpose: minimize the pain and damage caused by the injury. The endocannabinoid system, with its complex actions in our immune system, nervous system, and all of the body's organs, is literally a bridge between body and mind. By understanding this system we begin to see a mechanism that explains how states of consciousness can promote health or disease. In addition to regulating our internal and cellular homeostasis, cannabinoids influence a person's relationship with the external environment. Socially, the administration of cannabinoids clearly alters human behavior, often promoting sharing, humor, and creativity. By mediating neurogenesis, neuronal plasticity, and learning, cannabinoids may directly influence a person's open-mindedness and ability to move beyond limiting patterns of thought and behavior from past situations. Reformatting these old patterns is an essential part of health in our quickly changing environment. What Are Cannabinoid Receptors? Sea squirts, tiny nematodes, and all vertebrate species share the endocannabinoid system as an essential part of life and adaptation to environmental changes. By comparing the genetics of cannabinoid receptors in different species, scientists estimate that the endocannabinoid system evolved in primitive animals over 600 million years ago. While it may seem we know a lot about cannabinoids, the estimated twenty thousand scientific articles have just begun to shed light on the subject. Large gaps likely exist in our current understanding, and the complexity of interactions between various cannabinoids, cell types, systems and individual organisms challenges scientists to think about physiology and health in new ways. The following brief overview summarizes what we do know. Cannabinoid receptors are present throughout the body, embedded in cell membranes, and are believed to be more numerous than any other receptor system. When cannabinoid receptors are stimulated, a variety of physiologic processes ensue. Researchers have identified two cannabinoid receptors: CB1, predominantly present in the nervous system, connective tissues, gonads, glands, and organs; and CB2, predominantly found in the immune system and its associated structures. Many tissues contain both CB1 and CB2 receptors, each linked to a different action. Researchers speculate there may be a third cannabinoid receptor waiting to be discovered. http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/5169.html http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/cam/cannabis/healthprofessional/page4 http://www.cmcr.ucsd.edu/images/pdfs/05_Zhuang.pdf

Well I've officially teamed up with a weed smoker.

Is that why 'Murica stamped out Cannabis in the late 30s? Because it was obviously so unbeneficial? Which Cannabis has been proven to be the most beneficial plant on the planet? Great society I'm sure, Truely looking out for man kinds best interest at heart. Indeed. That alone renders your sarcastic rebuttal to sound quite silly.

    DayZ & Bandicam

Every 2nd time I try and press the record button with Bandicam the fucking game crashes. Good thing I'm smart enough to press record while I'm safe, But it took a death to realize. This is utter crap :l anyone else have this problem? 1/2 the time I'm playing I'm too scared to hit record button in the middle of battle because I'm too scared it'll crash, Which is bogus..

Well I've officially teamed up with a weed smoker.

Just a thought, Seeing as people are on the topic already.. Ever wonder exactly WHY Psychedelics became illegal? It wasn't based on scientific reasoning, In fact it wasn't based on any logical reasoning. Take 8 minutes to Listen to Terrence! People need to think twice about the word "illegal" and remember who made it so. Corporate, government, and douchers alike. Think about this for instance, Christianity is somewhat believed to be originally a mushroom cult (lots of evidence supports that) and the doubling of the human brain over a short 1/2 mill year'ish peroid of time is believed to be due to the consumption of physosybin mushrooms and other hallucinogens, Which also has lots of evidence supporting it. ALL of which of course is theory. But tons of puzzle pieces fit together on this basis. My point is psychedelics are our friend, We'd probably be nowhere without them. The insurmountable evidence supporting how GOOD they can be is only trumped by peoples ignorant attitudes to past and future endeavours. Quit conforming and following the flock. This is the only time in human history (the 1900s to present day) have we been denied the right to explore our own consciousness. Because if most of the population DID, They'd see how corrupt shit has become. Man has been getting high for eons and look where it got us! (and unless you're a bible thumper, These are facts you cannot deny.)
  8. lol no it was ME who shot at you guys from about 500m xD Sooo I sorta got Velocity killed huh? nice! >.< I was located pretty much opposite to you guys near the Med Center in town. It's captured on bandicam, I'll edit it in, So you can see the shot I took. * ouch no wonder I missed. I scoped for 600m, I was about 400m from you guys.* I just checked ranges on the map
  9. I thought it turned out rather well! It was a pretty short notice event, Thanks for coming everyone! My squad was 3, We saw a lot of people around 4:30pm onward, 10+ probably. I killed 2, Wounded 1 Velocity killed 1 Aspect killed 3. Alas, I was the only survivor of our squad Q.Q I caught a bit of footage, Will make a video when I can. GGs All!
  10. My 2nd friend Aspect Killed your buddy Shrub, Then it was I who killed you.
  11. You fought my friend Velocity, He said GG ;3
  12. Don't meet in town square. No cease fire ( I can't see EVERYONE following that rule till 5..) To keep it simple, and to prevent others from Trolling and screwing about, There WILL NOT be a meet up before hand. Show up and keep a low profile until about 5pm, Start shooting people at 4:50 IF you so choose. Just don't go over board searching for people till about 5:00pm I could easily see a Troll trying to gun down the lot of us.. So let's just avoid that. Let's just ALL do our best to KEEP LOW until about 5. Let's make it as fun and as fair as possible for everyone. If we make rules, That just gives people the chance to break them. SERVER: info is posted as a picture. But search this name in the filter. Server Name: .:In FOG We Trust, The Rest We Dust. IP: 66.55.137.111 Port: 2302
  13. With the Character reset coming I figured why not try and get a glorious battle together! The fight will be for Novo up North. Come prepared, No rules, Team up with who ever you like. The battle will take place tomorrow! ( Tuesday Sept 2nd @ 5:00pm Pacific ) Show up whenever you like to prepare but that's the general time. I have at least 8 friends or so coming, (we're NOT teamed up. I want them dead ;D) I'll be teamed up with 1 person. Late notice I know, BUT LET'S DO THIS THANG!! Be THERE! It's Hardcore (First Person) Here's the server, Hopefully FOG doesn't mind xD I tried to contact a few but none answered. Free publicity hurray...

PvP in Berezino: 2 killed 1 wounded

Just some PvP action near Berezino shoreline and PD area. I got the drop on 2 players randomly and took the opportunity to open fire. Probably could have killed both but I kept it safe, Had 2 zombies on me anyway >.< Turns out there was a small group of 3-5 holding an Apt. I did my best to interrupt their day.
